I play this game once every few months on my old PS2 from elementary school. I think it’s so cool how these 2000’s games not only stack up with new games coming out but in some cases better.
@@MBF120 sorry for getting back so late, yes the PS2 from my elementary school days surprisingly still works and is playable. Some games skip and freeze but they got small scratches on them (also mostly 12-15 year old games) but the system itself all good.
Such good physics and rider movement! One of my fav features is the ability to rotate the camera slightly to the sides to get a better view of the vehicles/riders
This is my all time favorite motocross game ever and I’ve played a good majority of them all. Something about it not only being a PS2 game along with it being dirt bikes only on top of having my favorite freeride mode ever equaled my favorite game ever growing up as a kid.
I was 11 when this came out. Still play it to this day. I remember me and all my track buds would play this at night at the track. Have tournaments and stuff. Good times man. Good times.

I just saw this game on the microsoft store and started losing it. I remember the summer I got this game for PS2 when I was a kid. We had all our friends from the neighborhood crowded in me and my brothers room playing this game freestyling, racing trophy trucks, helicopters, etc. This game is legendary and I'm so stoked for it to download.
This was my favorite racing game back in the day. My gosh, and the stuff you could do in the freestyle open world map, legendary. Man, what I wouldn't do to have the games return to a place like this
Another amazing thing about this game and the sequel is they’re packed full of content and they don’t sell 80% of the tracks as DLC. When I first tried Legends with a Trial and saw there was only 3 or 4 national tracks and the rest had to be bought I just stopped playing. This franchise unfortunately died to me after the ps3/xbox 360 era as the devs ruined it with greed

Dude after unleashed the games went to shit, I think there was a couple decent titles that a few friends told me about but MXVATV unleashed/ Mx Unleashed have some of the best physics of any Mx game imo. They could literally just remake these games with updated graphics and it would be sick. New physics looks like a robot.
I still ocasionally play on xbox one. They sure did great by making it backwards compatible. Playstation could learn about that. This game is my childhood. Probably the one videogame Ive spent most hours playing. It has a place in my heart forever. Thank your for talking about it and keeping ot alive. Can't believe the 1st one is still the best in the series nearly 20 years later.

Racing games look shit because the ai always let you be in first almost all the time when I played nascar on the ps2 it was hardcore now that's a racing game.
Hell yeah it is. Ive loved mx unleashed and its held up surprisingly pretty well. Im sure most is nostalgia, but you have the awesome soundtrack, the many unique track environments and fun layouts, big freerides with alot of vehicles and variables to have fun,etc. 🤘
Try mtx mototrax. That game was even better. I still have my old disc but sadly cant play it with xbox one. I still used to play it with the 360 when the game was like 12 years old.

I also enjoyed the national tracks black hills, doha, Grandview.. umm the national track with the cable car, and the track... gosh I will have to turn it on and see all the other ones I'm missing. MX Unleashed is by far my favorite Rainbow Studios ever made, and I have played a lot of their titles, from Motocross Madness 1 and 2 on PC, to ATV Off-road Fury 1 and 2 on the PS2, This game of course and MX Vs. ATV Unleashed and little bit of MX Vs. ATV Untamed, however it is this game I feel that has the best racing, physics model, even the Monster Truck feels incredible in this game compared to MX Vs. ATV Unleashed, the graphics are just right, the way your rider moves with the bike is just smooth and incredible feeling, easily my favorite MX Game ever made. :)
I just recently got my hands on mtx mototrax after years of only playing the demo on Tony hawk's underground the AI is tough as shit in that too but all out's AI is way too easy its still fun to play but mxgp and Supercross are the ones to go to for more of a challenge

Just play it for 2 days now, its still better than most Mx games today. The music, the 2 stroke sound, the whole gameplay is pretty good. The feeling of the bike in air is sick. This game is 18 years old and its still just awesome...even the graphics are badass for 2004.
