Of all Milestone MX games... I own MXGP 1, MESX 1 and then way later (after 2021 was released) I picked up MXGP 2019 for dirt cheap. Reason I picked MXGP 2019 is because it had (and still has) the highest Steam review ranking (85.9% positive), wild how much you hate that one, as I really don't mind it but I'm a pretty casual player of these games.

Reflex was my first dirtbike game I played it on my old xbox 360 me and my bro were playing splitscreen it was zhe best thing ever now I play mx vs atv legends

#1 take away... yearly releases are bad, sports/racing games need to end this ASAP. This isn't the PS1/PS2 and older era of game development, games are taking more and more time to make proper releases. Make one release last 3-5 years, and then offer yearly update (rosters, schedule/tracks, etc) passes. I personally didn't hate the handling, but I come in as a casual player and I didn't buy (or ever have intention to buy) it yearly, I only own MXGP original (from 2014), the first Monster SX game (2018), and then finally MXGP 2019. And I personally enjoy revisiting MXGP 2019 occasionally.
