After Miley Cyrus' VMA performance, we decided to try our hand at classing up "We Can't Stop" 50's style, with help from our friends, NYC doo wop group The Tee-Tones

+Arizona Cardinals - Scott and Robyn were dating (never married) as per interviews they gave in 2013/early 2014, but they stopped being a couple at the end of 2014. Robyn and Scott are still doing some PMJ work together, but very limited. Scott appears to be dating Natalie Rose White, one of the dancers in the "Single Ladies" video featuring Ariana Savalas. White also did the choreography for the video. Go to Natalie White's Instagram and Icono Square pages and you will see some photos of Scott and Natalie together. Nothing lasts forever.

I (re)watch the PMJ music videos and it is fun to see the evolution in 10 years. They started in tiny crounded appartments, with just their instruments and their talents, and now they have amazing sets, costumes but always their loyal instruments and their stunning talents. How apropos that this 1950's style version is done in someone's living room with all of the raw elements that were likely present during that time. Robyn does a fantastic job at capturing the sound of the period.

In my 29 years on this earth, facing one of hardest nights with this never ending fight with depression I found this channel. I've been crying listening to lots of these having just found them, so much emotion in so many of these songs on the channel I feel like I also found gold, I appreciate it so much, even just these artists smiles and expressions really helped lift me up tonight. And I'm responding to this because I appreciate you putting your comment out there. Gives me some hope of making it through this tunnel.

Robyn has such an amazing voice. I'm glad PMJ has been getting the attention they deserve.
Vocalists have that Doo Wop sound. Love the harmony here between the male vocalists. Piano, bass and drums got the mood just right and the vocalists make use of that musical backdrop. Great things happen when you put talented people together.

Holy shit, I think this is the first cover I've ever heard where the singer hit the high note. Reality show singing contestants love this song, but they never hit the high note, and always leave me disappointed. This was fantastic

It's embarrassing how much better this is than the original material.
The issue is the shitty "direction" these pop stars are given today. I don't know if that's quite the right term, but every female pop star seems to be told to shriek in a high-pitched, shrill voice into the microphone even though they have amazing control and range. Miley once did a sort of acoustic version of this song on SNL and it was a million times better.
But yeah, this version also stomps the "official" version.

This is such an amazing song/cover. I’d never heard the original but fell in love with the song based on this. The vocal, both lead and back up are just superb. I love the arrangement and instrumental backing too. When I finally decided to listen to the actual original song I was beyond underwhelmed. This version finds gold where there was none originally.
