The FM Synth heard here far outclassed the FM Synth on the Genesis because the Yamaha chip used in these arcade games cost a bit more to manufacture, and were more powerful.

for 1986, this is unbelievable. had no idea namco was experimenting with 3-D this early. sweet soundtrack too, reminds me of the sega genesis.

This game is a rail shooter in a Thunder force way.
これはあくまで推測だけど、セガのスペハリを意識して作られたのかなぁと。スペハリはこれの前年リリースです。
一応、前年ではあるけれどスペハリは12月稼働なので、そのころには既にこのゲームの開発は始まっていました。
ポールポジション筐体の有効活用を目的に作られたものでスペハリは関係ないようです。
