    “Goodbye Maka”
    And that’s why we’re all here. Appreciate the honesty, especially when you’ll bring up (and outright murder) your own unreleased collab without anybody having to ask. It’s also why everyone wants you to stick your sets in the ranking lists.
    Thanks for doing the review; I always love a cheap set that doesn’t sound, feel, or look the part.

      I’m not sure if this is what you’re talking about or if you’re going off what he mentioned in the video, but he posts a “Test Track List” in the description.
      If you want to expand from there, I like to use songs that I’m already really familiar with, I know are produced well, and are representative of a good chunk of my library. Makes it easier to judge a set based off your memory of how that song “should” sound. If you can find tracks where you can hear certain sets struggling in certain areas (like how BGGAR uses Sweet Leaf), that’s even better, but I think it’s kindof a second bonus step after checking if you like the general tuning.

      How did you get on with the cadenzas

    • @thesonnytackettshow7949
      @thesonnytackettshow7949 ปีที่แล้ว

      @JimiCanRead they are very warm sounding. We added them to our budget roadcase, and for some artists/musicians they are great, but we've gotten a much better response with the Dulce, it's very clean and you can get just about anything you want out of them except for the extreme bottom end. We would give drummers or bassists the Blon 03 or a number of others instead of either of these. The Cadenza works great middle of the road, keyboards, etc, or anyone looking for an even mix of everything. But many artists are looking for certain qualities; a female singer wants something that really makes her voice shine while doing everything else decently. A drummer wants something that allows him to really sync up with the bassists and keys in the rhythm section and get vocals good enough to hear distinctly. You would be surprised at how many musicians ask for a mix with the singer low in the mix, just good enough to stay on track. The final choice for us in buying iems is actually done by customer choice. Ones that go over great are naturally bought over ones barely used. Just an example here, but our budget case holds 100 sets( we have 200-300 total to choose from) We have 30 sets of 7hz Zeros,(5-ea all colors) 10 QKZ-HBB, 15 sets of Blon-03s, 10 Dulce, 10 Heart Mirror, 10 Moondrop Chus( modded) 15 Wan'ers, (5 ea all colors) 10 sets Blon-Hbb, 10 Holas, 5 Simgot ea100, 5 ew200 and 4 Cadenzas. We have too many different ones to list here, from $20 to &150 in the budget line.

    OMG! This set arrived today. Amazing clarity/detail for $35. Tidy sub and mid bass.. not bass monsters but there is enough. Not a dark or recessed sound.Tried various types of music but encountered no sibilance. Gotta bring out the Blon 03s again to see which I like best. I suspect it will be close but depend on the music choice tbh. I don't recall the Blons pulling this much detail but they had a lively, energetic playback.

      I have both as well. To me the Blons sound much more intimate and intense but a bit bloated in comparison. I like the smoothness of the Cadenza, could listen to these for hours. Current stable of IEM's includes the Dunu Titan S, NS Audio NS3, Moondrop Chu (though the mic literally came apart within maybe two weeks), Tin T2 and the Surround Codonguri Brass. In contrast , the Olina SE seems to be just more refined everywhere. The low end has weight and impact, mids and highs make me just want to keep listening to pretty much everything in my collection with the exception of bass music. I'd say the Olina SE is your next step up from the Cadenza in terms of tuning and driver, and they're about the same kinds of libraries and replay.

      @@danieleturrin5625 well, what do you listen to mostly? My library is a lot of things that are similar to HBB's own library, so it's not a surprise that his recommendations sound good to me. For reference, the Olina SE sounds miles better than the Titan S in my opinion, and the Titan S I prefer to all the others that I had that came before it (Tin T2, Nature Sound NS3, Codonguri Brass, etc.) and when I got the T2's they were the best thing I'd had next to my AKG K171 Studio. It really comes down to what's your taste in music, what frequencies are in that music, and does that match the graphs that HBB and other reviewers show.

    • @MrPhenix21
      @MrPhenix21 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@danieleturrin5625 to your point about the Cadenza punching above its weight class, it absolutely does. And many reviewers like the Titan S and place it at or near the top of that sub $100 usd category, with the Moondrop Aria and others. Even like 3 months ago when I got the Titan S, you had to spend more to get better sound. The hobby is growing at an incredible rate, and good stuff keeps getting cheaper.
