I cancelled my order from Fatfreq and went with a local vendor. Still got delayed got it last week. But still better than what people are going through. Appreciate your coming up forward ❤️
I think FF should have stopped taking preorders after hitting a certain number. They're a small company with even smaller manpower. I got fed up of waiting and decided to head down to Fatfreq store myself to collect my order instead. It was just one man running the front of house, and he was also the one replying to the emails and chats, I assume. In the future I'll probably just order from Hangout lol
Other companies, intermediaries, have the product because they probably signed some agreements with FF. That's why FF had to deliver the equipment to them, under threat of contractual penalties. Ordinary buyers were unfortunately pushed into the background. Nothing is at stake for not delivering the equipment to them, so FF, having some logistical problems, does not deliver the equipment on time.
Literally just got this message from them. "The delay in tracking updates may be due to unforeseen circumstances with our forwarder or customs processing. We are in close communication with both parties to ensure your order is prioritized and to get accurate tracking information as soon as possible."
Just got the same one today after emailing them every day for the last week. It’s messed up. Neither I nor they know where my set is. But leave it with them. I might hear back in another few months. They deserve to be dragged through the mud. Such lies
On Oct12 Fatfreq sent me an email with the Singapore post tracking number link which to this date still says "the tracking number not found". In fact there is no tracking webpage where the given number is valid. I have been patient and just contacted them once to let them know it's been weeks and no update, but after seeing your video I am in doubt if my order was lost. Reading the comments there's also a couple folks whose tracking isn't working, but seems this is not the same issue for everybody. I don't mind to keep waiting, just don't want to be left without money and product. Hopefully you can share what to do in such cases.

I was in the first 150. Mine was stuck at an international airport for two weeks but it did finally show up. Besides not getting the special case, the cable and set is awesome. My guess is the logistics company f’d everything up and just grabbed product from a bulk box and shipped randomly. I am all good and if you recognize my name I have bought most of your collabs on first day of preorders. Do not stress as this will all work out. Fatfreq have been straight shooters along the whole process with many communications. ‘‘Tis set has been my favorite to date and they are currently occupying my ear holes❤
Thank you for addressing this. I have infinite patience, so the delay is not so much of an issue to me but the missing upgrade cable, impedance adapter, tips, case, whatever it is they promised for the early buyers shows the company in a bad light. They didnt have to throw in the freebies at all but to promise something and not deliver or deliver to some and not to others is just unprofessional. Not the first time I've read complains about Fatfreq. They messed up the Scarlett mini production/shipping big time. You would think they had learned a thing or two from that experience but apparently they haven't. I will still buy the Deuce on 11.11 by the way, because I trust you and the product.
Dude thanks for making this. I ordered in July and still haven’t gotten mine in. It sucks but I was understanding until seeing people that didn’t pre order this got theirs by ordering from Bloom Audio and other stores. I am still way pumped to get this in! I'm glad the collab exists and it's doing well. It feels natural to me to see FFxHBB considering your ethics, transparency and passion. I got similar impression from Fatfreq. Unfortunate events, but still your job on these is exceptional and this can't be taken away. Looking forward to the next hbb collaboration. It's always experience, good or bad situation. Hey HBB 👍 love your channel. I purchased the your calob with Fatfreq - and recently received it. Yes it took longer than Ben Hur to receive it. My interactions with Fatfreq was all positive and they are lovely to deal with. Yes I never thought it would never arrive but it did. Love the Duece and grateful for their work. Yes their processes need some work but at least their products are great and they are nice people to communicate with. Thanks for the colab as always wanted a Fat Freq product but couldn’t afford the previous options. Hopefully people receive there’s soon. Cheers 🍻
I think most people understand that a small company like FF will not be as quick with shipping huge numbers out like the HifiGos of this world. What is an issue is the fact that there is an assumption when preordering that you'll get it before the 'regular' ones (I ordered mine within two hours of you uploading your announcement and am still waiting for it to arrive). Having said that, I still don't regret ordering it and am looking forward to (hopefully) getting my hands on it. PS I don't think anyone blames you for any of this "(the company is called FF and not HBB after all).

My thoughts: They advertised misleading info about the amount of bass, claiming it was just shy of the Scarlet Mini. I placed a pre order due in large part to that marketing. People got outraged when initial graphs were released and their claims seemed incorrect. They delayed shipment of completed units for pre-order customers because they wanted to cover their ass about their bass marketing, leading them to create the impedance adapter so the Deuce could hit their advertised number. In the weeks it took them to manufacture those impedance adapters, more and more retail units were created. By the time launch day hit, they had enough units to send out to initial direct buyers AND retailers like Linsoul, Bloom, etc. But since they sat for so long on the original pre orders, all of these units went out at once. This gave the impression that they fulfilled 3rd party retailer orders before direct customers who purchased months ago. Then, they probably expedited the shipping to 3rd party retailers while they sent orders to direct buyers through a slow shipping method. I'm still waiting for mine nearly one month after it shipped.
I straight up don't even know where my order is. The tracking doesn't even work. It may not have even left Singapore yet. It's been almost a month waiting like this on top of the two months of delays.

I opened a Paypal case and got my money back. I don't think I'm ever dealing with that company again. they never responded to any of my messages till date.
@@blinkx1070 Mine was like that up until a week ago. Invalid tracking number since it "shipped" on Oct8. It, indeed, had not left Singapore at all during that time. Last week it finally began tracking and started moving. It has moved quickly since then, and I should get it by Monday/Tuesday.
Definitely not your fault. They told me today that they have no idea where my order is and don't know when I will get it. Sounds like they picked the wrong shipper, but that is on them. Hope I will get to hear them some day. I was so very excited. Thanks for the info.
I preordered directly from Fatreq… paid for expedited shipping too. Fatfreq said they would start shipping from 30th September… a shipping label was created 3 days ago and the shipper is still awaiting my package… I’m really patient normally… but it’s taking too long imo. Chris, just got my Deuce today !!! OMG this are the best IEM's of my collection ! I guess when you pay a premium for something that is premium this is totally true ! These are a bass monsters and the clarity in every frequency is perfect because the bass didn't affect the mids or the highs !!!! THANKS FOR MAKING THIS COLAB WITH FAT FREQ !!! Transparency is very important and welcome. Silence isn't. I didn't buy this set as it is out of my budget but I've seen a lot of people complaining about the lack of communication. Glad you made this video!
At the beginning of the video, when you mentioned 100% transparency, I was really so moved by it, man. I am autistic too, and transparency defines everything about me. And our feeling of social responsibility is off the scale, really. I judge myself sometimes for being this way, but seeing these traits in you is about the most beautiful thing ever.

Paid in August at their store in Singapore and received it last week. They did respond to my queries and were very humble to indicate their status and also provided updates via email on what they were doing.
If you google yourself, there's some hangups about your past controversies warranted or unwarranted. But currently as of now, I feel like a proud young brother that you're currently the shining beacon of integrity in this hobby. This and some other instance with a brand I can't seem to remember has solidified that you've been able clean up your image. At least in my eyes. Bravo!

Waiting sucks ass, but I'd rather wait for thing that I'll be happy with for years to come rather than rushed out product that's not properly QC'ed. Hey HBB, I ordered the Deuce from FatFreq the day you made the community post on your TH-cam channel that it’s available to purchase, as I waited it was genuinely frustrating seeing people get theirs from 3rd party vendors and even some gotten theirs (by purchasing second hand from people who ALREADY gotten theirs from the 3rd party vendors) but fatfreq did wanted my order to feel special and made it work by giving me a special case with my name engraved as opposed traditionally kicking me off the list as they realized when they counted up the orders that I wasn’t apart of the special as they thought I was. When I finally gotten these and felt and saw the case itself when I received it, phenomenal. I love it, feels true to me, the IEMs? These are special. I’m glad to have blind ordered off yours and fatfreq’s past because these tick all the boxes I was looking for and trades blows with much higher priced iems I owned before. Thank you for bringing a more cheapish set that does boast a premium sound profile that you would normally have to shell out big bucks for! Sorry for the wall of text, thank you HBB!

I ordered direct the moment your first video about them went up. I think that was July 26th ? My package came in October 17th. It didn't include the ear tips or hat I was supposedly supposed to get, but I have my own ear tips I prefer and I don't wear hats, so not a big deal. They sound amazing. You did a great job with the tuning, as always. If I were to guess about the logistic problems, they are probably trying to fill orders with the resale partners first. No company would ever admit it, but they'll prioritize large orders with business partners over individual direct sales, because it can lead to future large orders from those same business partners. I do hope everyone gets their IEMs sooner, rather than later. On another note, the Deuce should have come with a bigger case. The one they include isn't big enough to hold just the IEMs and the cable.....lol.
Well this is sad news, i unfortunately did buy direct from them since i was unsure whom i could trust to buy from. Straight from the source made the most sense, guess i was wrong, oh well you live you learn. it will be a month since i ordered in a few days and now i feel like i will be waiting months. I appreciate the update and honesty, because it has been radio silence from Fat Frequency which i found odd for any company. A few days ago i saw a video of someone getting theirs and it had no cable or other bonuses of the pre order. Really starting to worry now about my order. However all that said i do not blame you, you worked to develop this, you are not the company making it or shipping it. Do not take blame for what you do not control, that said i love how open and honest you are being. To be fair this only makes me trust your reviews more because you are taking responsibility for something that really is not your fault. I own the Scarlet Mini , ordered directly from Fat Freq and waited for 5-6 months for them to make and ship my set. I pre-ordered on day 1 for the Deuce and received my set, which was “shipped” in mid September, this week. The tracking number never worked on the website. First thing is I love the way the set sounds. That was nailed down by you and Fatfreq. I know they wanted to keep the cost down. So I guess that's why all the units didn't come with a metal case. The little soft one that shipped was disappointing. I think you said it best "under promise and over deliver" is the way to go. The "upgraded" cable could have been a stock linsoul one ( that I replaced it with) IMHO. They just have to use some other Logistics company to ship and notify customers.
I just got mine, they are an AMAZING IEM. It's a shame that they mismanaged the launch like that, that's very bad. My package missed the pre-order bonus, like for many other backers...it's a real shame, because this is a banger and even a slower rollout would've been better than what's happening. You are more or less entirely the reason I've bought two IEMs from Fatfreq, and I do love the one I have, bought second hand - But can safely say, the trust in you remains, trust in Fatfreq's tuning remains, but them as a company, not so much. Well... First, hello again Chris! - second, I did order from them, awhile ago now. When I inquired about shipping time frame, with my order number included, they said early next week... 2 weeks ago. I wrote back the other day, basically inquiring the same thing I did before, since nothing changed on my Shop app, as far as shipping goes... And I've heard nothing back. I'm from Singapore. My set "shipped" 16 oct and the tracking never worked. 10 days later I ended up going down to Fatfreq directly and picked up my set personally. Fortunately the dude who was there was really nice (I think his name was Yeo) So for anyone who is in Singapore and ordered directly from them. Don't bother waiting for shipping updates. Just trouble yourself and head down to their store with your name and order number to collect it in person
The thing with being told we were in the first 150 and months later being told that was not the case (😂) definitely happened. It happened to me, and I was sent an email with a different name and order number, so I replied to ask if I was the intended recipient and I was. My set was just delivered yesterday to my surprise as the tracking was all over the place. Like you said, the FatFreq people are incredibly nice and yes they did take a while to reply late in the process, but I'm just glad I finally have my Deuce!

Thanks for the transparency Chris. I've had my Deuce now for 3 weeks (very early preorder), part of the shell by the 2pin connector is just missing; that's how they arrived. Doesn't affect anything; although I'm sure it's because of the crazy tight tolerance of the recessed 2pin. They sound great stock, little too much though with the ohm adapter.

We are facing communication that seems to be misrepresentation, particularly through pre-sale phases that were announced but not respected. In my country, such practices would be considered unacceptable and subject to sanctions. I understand that FatFreq's business model may differ, but if the company is not able to meet its commitments, it would be better to avoid making such promises. My order was in the first 150 - I just got it. No case as promised. The tracking number was provided the first week of October. It wasn’t trackable for almost 2wks. Then it looks like it shipped from HK to mainland China then finally back out. It would seem they are prioritizing bulk orders from vendors then customers and not using an efficient logistical path. Good set tho, impedance adaptor is awesome.
Coincidentally I just received mine today. Was worried because the tracking number wasn't returning any updates up until yesterday. I think I waited 3-4 weeks to get it after I received the tracking code. In saying this, I'm relieved that they got all of my order correct (including the accessories I bought) and I have to say that this is probably the best value basshead IEM in the industry right now. And it's the only one I own that I can listen to without fatigue at high volume. Perfectly balanced tuning, including when using the impedance adapter (which I think I prefer). I may be wrong but if memory serves me right, this is a much better set than the Scarlet Mini. That thing was bloated as hell (sorry not sorry).
I'm still waiting on mine. I'm happy to support your collaboration. But this experience will definitely prevent me from buying anything from Fatfreq ever again. I preordered on August 1st and chose Fedex shipping for an additional $50 to avoid shipping issues...guess that was a dumb idea on my part.
Tried my new Fatfreq Deuce on different players... Hiby RS6 is by far the best. Nothing can be compared with. No sibilants. Massaging low mids and rumbling sub. Stage big enough in width and depth. Lot's of air between the instruments. Quite long and crispy highs. "Crispy" is an advantage for me but not vice versa. No need to use the adaptor. Just a waste of money. Guys, looks like I got my endgames. 1. For outside use - Deuce 2. For home use - Scarlet. Everything is without burn-in. Usually it makes the IEMs sound better.
Like most people, very disappointed with the company's customer service. Ordered my Deuce July 24 and received it October 31. Received the retail version, ie non of the goodies. Gray case, 3 tips and no impedance adapter. Unsure why I bothered to preorder. I wanted to use Deuce as my entry into the Fatfreq world and to see if it would entice me to move up the ladder to a more expensive set. So while I'm really enjoying the tuning these few days, I"ll spend my money on other companies aspirational sets.
That's terrible that they can't deal with this.... They seem like such a great company... They should expect to grow and need more supply, especially before launching a new product.... That's sad....
Hope my order from FatFreq arrives in somewhat reasonable time. Not only ordered the set but additional cables and cases to co complement everything. Feel bad for everyone who are in not only the first 150 but even 500 that have ordered directly from FatFreq. Since part of the excitement for many is being one of the first to have their hands on a product from someone they have supported. Only to have to sit, wait and see those around them receive orders. Hopefully this will be a learning experience for FatFreq.
Yeah, I got a tracking number from FF and I was not able to trace it for three weeks. My friend already received the Deuce and mine was sent recently. I paid for it at the end of July. Another person which I know of was not able to trace for Deuce even for more time.
Character and integrity, some have it, some don't and you sir do. Not at all saying FF is a bad company in anyway, there just has to be something going on that will get resolved eventually. Buying directly from the source made more sense back then, and hpz mentioned that their batch wouldn't include the pre order benefits such as impedance adaptor. I don't know what to do now. I ordered from linsoul and did not receive any of the pre-order quota items. Should I have received them from linsoul? Or was that only a fatfreq direct thing? Side note, I absolutely LOVE this IEMs and the bass is insane without stepping on the mids
I find it unacceptable that I was one of the 150 (I think) judging by the way that I ordered witin an hour of it going live and still do not have it. I'm sithey are gonna sound great but it has left a bad taste in my mouth especially since stores have them when early pre order people don't. If they where more transparent then ok but nothing. got the same a bit more than a week ago, and have since almost waited a month with a FedEx status (+50$!) telling me label created.
On Oct12 Fatfreq sent me an email with the Singapore post tracking number link which to this date still says "the tracking number not found". In fact there is no tracking webpage where the given number is valid. I have been patient and just contacted them once to let them know it's been weeks and no update, but after seeing your video I am in doubt if my order was lost. Reading the comments there's also a couple folks whose tracking isn't working, but seems this is not the same issue for everybody. I don't mind to keep waiting, just don't want to be left without money and product. Hopefully you can share what to do in such cases.

I was in the first 150. Mine was stuck at an international airport for two weeks but it did finally show up. Besides not getting the special case, the cable and set is awesome. My guess is the logistics company f’d everything up and just grabbed product from a bulk box and shipped randomly. I am all good and if you recognize my name I have bought most of your collabs on first day of preorders. Do not stress as this will all work out. Fatfreq have been straight shooters along the whole process with many communications. ‘‘Tis set has been my favorite to date and they are currently occupying my ear holes❤
Thank you for addressing this. I have infinite patience, so the delay is not so much of an issue to me but the missing upgrade cable, impedance adapter, tips, case, whatever it is they promised for the early buyers shows the company in a bad light. They didnt have to throw in the freebies at all but to promise something and not deliver or deliver to some and not to others is just unprofessional.
Not the first time I've read complains about Fatfreq. They messed up the Scarlett mini production/shipping big time. You would think they had learned a thing or two from that experience but apparently they haven't.
I will still buy the Deuce on 11.11 by the way, because I trust you and the product.

I'm glad the collab exists and it's doing well. It feels natural to me to see FFxHBB considering your ethics, transparency and passion. I got similar impression from Fatfreq. Hey HBB 👍 love your channel. I purchased the your calob with Fatfreq - and recently received it. Yes it took longer than Ben Hur to receive it. My interactions with Fatfreq was all positive and they are lovely to deal with. Yes I never thought it would never arrive but it did. Love the Duece and grateful for their work. Yes their processes need some work but at least their products are great and they are nice people to communicate with. Thanks for the colab as always wanted a Fat Freq product but couldn’t afford the previous options. Hopefully people receive there’s soon. Cheers 🍻
I think most people understand that a small company like FF will not be as quick with shipping huge numbers out like the HifiGos of this world. What is an issue is the fact that there is an assumption when preordering that you'll get it before the 'regular' ones (I ordered mine within two hours of you uploading your announcement and am still waiting for it to arrive). Having said that, I still don't regret ordering it and am looking forward to (hopefully) getting my hands on it. PS I don't think anyone blames you for any of this "(the company is called FF and not HBB after all).

My thoughts:
They advertised misleading info about the amount of bass, claiming it was just shy of the Scarlet Mini. I placed a pre order due in large part to that marketing. People got outraged when initial graphs were released and their claims seemed incorrect. They delayed shipment of completed units for pre-order customers because they wanted to cover their ass about their bass marketing, leading them to create the impedance adapter so the Deuce could hit their advertised number. In the weeks it took them to manufacture those impedance adapters, more and more retail units were created. By the time launch day hit, they had enough units to send out to initial direct buyers AND retailers like Linsoul, Bloom, etc. But since they sat for so long on the original pre orders, all of these units went out at once. This gave the impression that they fulfilled 3rd party retailer orders before direct customers who purchased months ago. Then, they probably expedited the shipping to 3rd party retailers while they sent orders to direct buyers through a slow shipping method. I'm still waiting for mine nearly one month after it shipped.
I straight up don't even know where my order is. The tracking doesn't even work. It may not have even left Singapore yet.
It's been almost a month waiting like this on top of the two months of delays.
@@blinkx1070 thats not on them. the shipping updates come from the carrier. I got my delivery date the day it was out for delivery. I bought straight from FF. I was one of the first 150, and got my case.

@@blinkx1070 Mine was like that up until a week ago. Invalid tracking number since it "shipped" on Oct8. It, indeed, had not left Singapore at all during that time. Last week it finally began tracking and started moving. It has moved quickly since then, and I should get it by Monday/Tuesday.
Definitely not your fault. They told me today that they have no idea where my order is and don't know when I will get it. Sounds like they picked the wrong shipper, but that is on them. Hope I will get to hear them some day. I was so very excited. Thanks for the info.

I preordered directly from Fatreq… paid for expedited shipping too. Fatfreq said they would start shipping from 30th September… a shipping label was created 3 days ago and the shipper is still awaiting my package… I’m really patient normally… but it’s taking too long imo.
I hope it’s worth the wait because I really like bass… but I like to hear everything else in the spectrum too.

Chris, just got my Deuce today !!! OMG this are the best IEM's of my collection ! I guess when you pay a premium for something that is premium this is totally true ! These are a bass monsters and the clarity in every frequency is perfect because the bass didn't affect the mids or the highs !!!! THANKS FOR MAKING THIS COLAB WITH FAT FREQ !!! THE WAIT WA TOTALLY WORTH IT !!

Paid in August at their store in Singapore and received it last week. They did respond to my queries and were very humble to indicate their status and also provided updates via email on what they were doing.
If you google yourself, there's some hangups about your past controversies warranted or unwarranted. But currently as of now, I feel like a proud young brother that you're currently the shining beacon of integrity in this hobby. This and some other instance with a brand I can't seem to remember has solidified that you've been able clean up your image. At least in my eyes. Bravo!

Hey HBB, I ordered the Deuce from FatFreq the day you made the community post on your TH-cam channel that it’s available to purchase, as I waited it was genuinely frustrating seeing people get theirs from 3rd party vendors and even some gotten theirs (by purchasing second hand from people who ALREADY gotten theirs from the 3rd party vendors) but fatfreq did wanted my order to feel special and made it work by giving me a special case with my name engraved as opposed traditionally kicking me off the list as they realized when they counted up the orders that I wasn’t apart of the special as they thought I was. When I finally gotten these and felt and saw the case itself when I received it, phenomenal. I love it, feels true to me, the IEMs? These are special. I’m glad to have blind ordered off yours and fatfreq’s past because these tick all the boxes I was looking for and trades blows with much higher priced iems I owned before. Thank you for bringing a more cheapish set that does boast a premium sound profile that you would normally have to shell out big bucks for! Sorry for the wall of text, thank you HBB!

I ordered direct the moment your first video about them went up. I think that was July 26th ? My package came in October 17th. It didn't include the ear tips or hat I was supposedly supposed to get, but I have my own ear tips I prefer and I don't wear hats, so not a big deal. They sound amazing. You did a great job with the tuning, as always. If I were to guess about the logistic problems, they are probably trying to fill orders with the resale partners first. No company would ever admit it, but they'll prioritize large orders with business partners over individual direct sales, because it can lead to future large orders from those same business partners. I do hope everyone gets their IEMs sooner, rather than later. On another note, the Deuce should have come with a bigger case. The one they include isn't big enough to hold just the IEMs and the cable.....lol.
Well this is sad news, i unfortunately did buy direct from them since i was unsure whom i could trust to buy from. Straight from the source made the most sense, guess i was wrong, oh well you live you learn. it will be a month since i ordered in a few days and now i feel like i will be waiting months. I appreciate the update and honesty, because it has been radio silence from Fat Frequency which i found odd for any company. A few days ago i saw a video of someone getting theirs and it had no cable or other bonuses of the pre order. Really starting to worry now about my order.
However all that said i do not blame you, you worked to develop this, you are not the company making it or shipping it. Do not take blame for what you do not control, that said i love how open and honest you are being. To be fair this only makes me trust your reviews more because you are taking responsibility for something that really is not your fault. Keep up the great work and videos and i will keep watching and buying your recommendations. Take care and dont stress yourself too much, there is only so much you can do.
I own the Scarlet Mini , ordered directly from Fat Freq and waited for 5-6 months for them to make and ship my set.
I pre-ordered on day 1 for the Deuce and received my set, which was “shipped” in mid September, this week. The tracking number never worked on the website.
They are masters of IEM development and manufacturing, shipping is not part of their superpowers

First thing is I love the way the set sounds. That was nailed down by you and Fatfreq. I know they wanted to keep the cost down. So I guess that's why all the units didn't come with a metal case. The little soft one that shipped was disappointing. I think you said it best "under promise and over deliver" is the way to go. The "upgraded" cable could have been a stock linsoul one ( that I replaced it with) IMHO. They just have to use some other Logistics company to ship and notify customers.
I just got mine, they are an AMAZING IEM. It's a shame that they mismanaged the launch like that, that's very bad.
My package missed the pre-order bonus, like for many other backers...it's a real shame, because this is a banger and even a slower rollout would've been better than what's happening. Thank you for being upfront on this, and thank you for the great tuning!

I hope you're right about the aftermath, but I'd be surprised if FatFreq even acknowledges that mistakes were made :-)

You are more or less entirely the reason I've bought two IEMs from Fatfreq, and I do love the one I have, bought second hand - But can safely say, the trust in you remains, trust in Fatfreq's tuning remains, but them as a company, not so much. All that being said, should certainly make for interesting viewing whilst we wait for the deuce, to hear how this went *that* sideways, once the dust settles over there.

I wrote back the other day, basically inquiring the same thing I did before, since nothing changed on my Shop app, as far as shipping goes... And I've heard nothing back.

I'm from Singapore. My set "shipped" 16 oct and the tracking never worked. 10 days later I ended up going down to Fatfreq directly and picked up my set personally. Fortunately the dude who was there was really nice (I think his name was Yeo)
So for anyone who is in Singapore and ordered directly from them. Don't bother waiting for shipping updates. Just trouble yourself and head down to their store with your name and order number to collect it in person
The thing with being told we were in the first 150 and months later being told that was not the case (😂) definitely happened. It happened to me, and I was sent an email with a different name and order number, so I replied to ask if I was the intended recipient and I was. My set was just delivered yesterday to my surprise as the tracking was all over the place. Like you said, the FatFreq people are incredibly nice and yes they did take a while to reply late in the process, but I'm just glad I finally have my Deuce!

Thanks for the transparency Chris. I've had my Deuce now for 3 weeks (very early preorder), part of the shell by the 2pin connector is just missing; that's how they arrived. Doesn't affect anything; although I'm sure it's because of the crazy tight tolerance of the recessed 2pin. They sound great stock, little too much though with the ohm adapter.
Good on you do let the community know. Alas, it's not the only company with this kind of logistic issues.

what's wild is i even had the opportunity to grab a 2-day prime Deuce from linsoul's amazon listing like 2 weeks ago. it's back to a normal 2-week shipping now, but that's crazy that linsoul got their stock over to US amazon warehouses in that time-frame

First of all, I would like to point out that my message is in no way directed against you. I fully recognize the quality of your work and the excellence your collaboration, both in terms of videos and exchanges.
However, in order to remain transparent, I must mention that the current situation with FatFreq goes beyond a simple logistical problem. We are facing communication that seems to be misrepresentation, particularly through pre-sale phases that were announced but not respected. In my country, such practices would be considered unacceptable and subject to sanctions.
I understand that FatFreq's business model may differ, but if the company is not able to meet its commitments, it would be better to avoid making such promises.
In short, even if people may be well-intentioned, the experience unfortunately does not reflect this intention.

My order was in the first 150 - I just got it. No case as promised. The tracking number was provided the first week of October. It wasn’t trackable for almost 2wks. Then it looks like it shipped from HK to mainland China then finally back out. It would seem they are prioritizing bulk orders from vendors then customers and not using an efficient logistical path. Good set tho, impedance adaptor is awesome.
I bought my deuce on October 10th on aliexpress and received it today. And I live in Brazil, where customs and postage service are terrible.
Coincidentally I just received mine today. Was worried because the tracking number wasn't returning any updates up until yesterday. I think I waited 3-4 weeks to get it after I received the tracking code.
In saying this, I'm relieved that they got all of my order correct (including the accessories I bought) and I have to say that this is probably the best value basshead IEM in the industry right now. And it's the only one I own that I can listen to without fatigue at high volume. Perfectly balanced tuning, including when using the impedance adapter (which I think I prefer).
I may be wrong but if memory serves me right, this is a much better set than the Scarlet Mini. That thing was bloated as hell (sorry not sorry).

I had a good time at the FF booth at Canjam. 100% they are the nicest people in the audio world. I hope they can correct their mistakes quickly.
Tried my new Fatfreq Deuce on different players... Hiby RS6 is by far the best. Nothing can be compared with. No sibilants. Massaging low mids and rumbling sub. Stage big enough in width and depth. Lot's of air between the instruments. Quite long and crispy highs. "Crispy" is an advantage for me but not vice versa.
No need to use the adaptor. Just a waste of money.
Guys, looks like I got my endgames.
1. For outside use - Deuce
2. For home use - Scarlet.
Everything is without burn-in. Usually it makes the IEMs sound better.
Like most people, very disappointed with the company's customer service. Ordered my Deuce July 24 and received it October 31. Received the retail version, ie non of the goodies. Gray case, 3 tips and no impedance adapter. Unsure why I bothered to preorder. I wanted to use Deuce as my entry into the Fatfreq world and to see if it would entice me to move up the ladder to a more expensive set. So while I'm really enjoying the tuning these few days, I"ll spend my money on other companies aspirational sets.

Feel bad for everyone who are in not only the first 150 but even 500 that have ordered directly from FatFreq. Since part of the excitement for many is being one of the first to have their hands on a product from someone they have supported. Only to have to sit, wait and see those around them receive orders.
Hopefully this will be a learning experience for FatFreq.

Yeah, I got a tracking number from FF and I was not able to trace it for three weeks. My friend already received the Deuce and mine was sent recently. I paid for it at the end of July. Another person which I know of was not able to trace for Deuce even for more time.

I ordered from linsoul and did not receive any of the pre-order quota items. Should I have received them from linsoul? Or was that only a fatfreq direct thing? Side note, I absolutely LOVE this IEMs and the bass is insane without stepping on the mids
I find it unacceptable that I was one of the 150 (I think) judging by the way that I ordered witin an hour of it going live and still do not have it. I'm sithey are gonna sound great but it has left a bad taste in my mouth especially since stores have them when early pre order people don't. If they where more transparent then ok but nothing.
