Of all the youtube reviewers I subscribe to you're the best teacher. Everything you're doing with the graphics, camera angles, and sense of humor is working. I'm ordering the Wan'ers, but what would you recommend as the "next step" for a little more expensive IEMs that can do what you describe at the end of the video a little better? How big of a jump in price to actually make a difference worth saving up for? What IEM would you recommend to someone who was saving up for either Sundaras or Edition XS headphones?
Thank you. Planners around the 200 isd price point seem to be a pretty solid jump in performances. Between 20 and 250 there seems to be a proportionate inrease in quality for the money.
Awesome opening! Wonderful review as always. The availability of Tangzu is an issue here in India. Anyway, I already bought the 7hz. But I would've loved a bit more of bass.
7Hz Zero has a great overall sound, tight punchy bass just enough for me, clear mid range, clear vocal. BUT, it sounds lil bit too harsh on some part of the treble. It gives some kind of sssshhhh noise sound, especially on metal/rock music or any music with guitar distortion. I dont know if it is QC problem or it is as it is. I had tu lower about -6 dB on frequency 4000 hz until it sounds great. But now I'm curious about Wan'er. Seems the perfect IEM for me from how you describe it
I really love the 'neutralness' of the 7hz zero. I really want to hear how each artist intended to sound on their records without any 'coloring' by the IEM. I've already got a TRN MT1 from the previous year when I'm in the for more bass. Looking at the CCA NRA next as the graph looks really different to both IEMs I already had. Great comparison video btw!

Hey! Nice review man, loved it. I have Truthear Hola and want to listen to Zero/Waner. Will it be a waste of money to buy Zero/Waner/Hbb, as already have Hola. Or should I Just EQ hola to these and forget about it. Will Eqing Hola to Zero give me the feels and sound of Original Zero?
You're manipulating us with those camera shifts, aren't you. The thing that really sold the 7hz zero was the imaging. It was just so much better than stuff like the chu's Im still really into the 1more evo's for tws, they have such a big, spacious soundstage and really clean sub bass, (along with that wind noise ANC that nothing else can touch) I was just riding my bike up the hill to my house and "Helvegen" by Wardruna was playing, and I swear they tricked my brain into thinking I heard a real thunder crack in the distance, behind me and to the left. It kinda freaked me out for a second. One thing about this hobby is once you get the thing that just nails everything for you, it's hard to justify buying more. I usually buy stuff like this to try it, pick my favorite, and then box up and give away the loser to a friend or family member.
I know this isn't your choice of tonality but will you review IEMs like Quarks DSP, QKZ x HBB Khan and a full review of the Truthear Zeros anytime soon?
I think the zero has been covered in detail by others.. not sure I can add value there. Dsp wise I'm curious about the jiu ( the dsp version of the chu). The khan also seems interesting...if they'll send me one I'll review it.
Good review! It is clear Waner has your recommendation vs KZ Zex Pro which u reviewed recently. After acquiring KZ Zex Pro, I proceeded to purchase Waner at a lower price than KZ. Have I downgraded?
The KZ ZS10 and TRN V80 are same price as Tang'zu Wan'er SG in my place. 1DD 4BA, 2DD 2BA vs 1DD(19.99 USD price bracket). (12.59 USD calculated) 7hz Salnotes Zero is alot cheaper than Chu 2, Chu, Wan'er SG, KZ ZS10, TRN V80.(All mentioned are 18.99-19.99) Note: I chosen ZS10 and EQ'ed the Wan'er.
Excellent presentation 👍. Considering the limitations of this price range, would you say the 7hz Zero is more analytical and correct sounding ( for lack of better words ) when compared to the Wan'er ?
I think the waner represents bass a bit l better because a boost is needed in iems for it to sound similar to speakers .. but overall the zero might be considered a tad more analytical for sure
Great review as always, you just don't disappoint ! Well, I have a small question: how do the separation, imaging and soundstage stack up between the 7hz Zero and the Tangzu Wan'er ? Those parameters matter most to me and can dictate my choice by these two IEMs
@@imwhatsnew thanks for the feedback it's much much appreciated, well I guess I'll go with 7hz Zero then while I'll be saving up for the Truthear Hexa next 🤞
After watching this video I have so much retention I'm not sure I'll be able to go pee anymore! Anyway, dad jokes aside, I've bought the Cadenza and the nozzle is too big for my ears. Are the Wan'er nozzle smaller or they're the same?
@@imwhatsnew although video focused more on sound, you did empasize the $$$ difference. missing out build n cable quality Apart from that, kiwi cadenza sound signature is being compared to be on par with aful performer5 and the like. and then i see this video. connfused between waner n cadenza.
listening to quartets and flighty Piano pieces ( Flight of the Bumble Bee ) , I've found the Zero can become a bit too sharp sometime , where the Wan'er do it better . On the other hand , trying the Carman Habanera reveal the limitation of the Wan'er , not they it sound bad, infact it sound great , but compared to other IEM with a more elevated treble / high mid the intensity just lacks a bit
bro i felt kiwi ears cadenza to have a much tighter base than warner was leaking base into the lower mids listen to descending by jysper kyd you will realize how muddy Warner sounds.... but after all both fall into the same curve and you wont notice much difference to normal ears until you ask for it but the clarity and space between instrunents also i felt was bit better in cadenza
Great review! I am leaning more towards Tangzu as I want more bass. How would you compare Wan'er and Salnotes Zero with CCA CRA+? Looking forward to your recommendation. I currently own a CCA CRA and I want to sidegrade to something that has a bit different sound signature.
I have CRA+ EDX Ultra 7hz salnotes zero og CRA etc Personally 7hz salnotes zero sounds much better than CRA+ CRA also sounds better than CRA+ CRA sounds more shiny and has cleaner bass CRA+ is bit muddy and more ear piercing the sss sounds are so sharp it hurts ears While CRA is harsh but it doesn't hurt 7hz salnotes zero sounds much cleaner has cleaner mids much better treble no sharpness at all bass is lacking tho 7hz salnotes zero has way better soundstage way better separation and imaging OG CRA might have wider sound representation But 7hz salnotes zero soundstage is actually better and bigger Only bass is lacking need a second driver to solve the bass like a tiny subwoofer
@@dantsu1616 Tungzu wan er is much better than 7hz salnotes zero better bass better vocals bit wider sound When I hear 7hz zero it sounds so bad honestly to me Bass lack luster vocals are too laid back I mean I felt something was lacking in vocals bro it was too veiled Instruments sounds were excellent I don't mind great Soundstage imaging and separation Very well done Well treble in 7hz zero gets screechy sometimes little harsh at nightime listening when I'm relaxed Waner did much better vocals are more forward and better bass is much better Even treble is better done in waner Unlike 7hz zero which can get screechy Waner is more smoother has better vocals better bass typically better overall listen
I brought Tangzu wan er today. And I found out that left side has lower bass then the other side is it normal or is it a problem? And in the box manual it’s says channel difference 1dB(1kHz). So i wanna know is it normal?
So, try out a different eartip size for that ear just in case you aren't getting the seal.. it's still a distinct difference, you could consider returning the product

Great review again, thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Excellent review and like the way you review it👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Hey! Nice review man, loved it.
I have Truthear Hola and want to listen to Zero/Waner. Will it be a waste of money to buy Zero/Waner/Hbb, as already have Hola. Or should I Just EQ hola to these and forget about it.
Will Eqing Hola to Zero give me the feels and sound of Original Zero?
eq can give you a good idea for sure...
nice review! thanks your work!
Thanks for watching!
Which among the 3 have the best sparkle or airier treble? Thanks
for me its the wan'er but ..the zero because it has less bass will also come across as airier .
Quality Content. Thanks for the comparison.
You're manipulating us with those camera shifts, aren't you.
The thing that really sold the 7hz zero was the imaging. It was just so much better than stuff like the chu's
Im still really into the 1more evo's for tws, they have such a big, spacious soundstage and really clean sub bass, (along with that wind noise ANC that nothing else can touch) I was just riding my bike up the hill to my house and "Helvegen" by Wardruna was playing, and I swear they tricked my brain into thinking I heard a real thunder crack in the distance, behind me and to the left. It kinda freaked me out for a second.
One thing about this hobby is once you get the thing that just nails everything for you, it's hard to justify buying more. I usually buy stuff like this to try it, pick my favorite, and then box up and give away the loser to a friend or family member.
What do you think about moondrop chu 2 when compared to cadenza ears
Well, what do your ears tell you..
No, i think waner better tuning, more balance
These iems make great gifts, you could even just buy all three to introduce someone to iems.
The KZ ZS10 and TRN V80 are same price as Tang'zu Wan'er SG in my place. 1DD 4BA, 2DD 2BA vs 1DD(19.99 USD price bracket). (12.59 USD calculated) 7hz Salnotes Zero is alot cheaper than Chu 2, Chu, Wan'er SG, KZ ZS10, TRN V80.(All mentioned are 18.99-19.99)
Note: I chosen ZS10 and EQ'ed the Wan'er.
@@imwhatsnew Thanks a lot for clarifying 👍🏼. Cheers
Great review as always, you just don't disappoint !
Well, I have a small question: how do the separation, imaging and soundstage stack up between the 7hz Zero and the Tangzu Wan'er ? Those parameters matter most to me and can dictate my choice by these two IEMs
Very very similar in my usage so far.
@@imwhatsnew thanks for the feedback it's much much appreciated, well I guess I'll go with 7hz Zero then while I'll be saving up for the Truthear Hexa next 🤞
@@imwhatsnew which one do you prefer for gaming?
@@volarex5311 I prefer nice headphones lol.. But I think the waner works well for esports gaming as well as immersive gaming
Can you please review Truthear HOLA's and how does it compare to Wan'er?
I did review it ..but the algorithm isn't pushing it to people :(. It's on the channel
Tangzu Wan'er sg or Blon BL 03 which is best under 2100 INR?
After watching this video I have so much retention I'm not sure I'll be able to go pee anymore! Anyway, dad jokes aside, I've bought the Cadenza and the nozzle is too big for my ears. Are the Wan'er nozzle smaller or they're the same?
Which one would you recommend more for gaming and casual listening music while enjoying every detail of the song, and EDMs
Ah I made a recommendation in the video based on these criteria. :)
liked, subbed, but confused and surprised on your opinion on Cadenza.
IMO a fair comparison b/w the two are due.
I thought it was pretty fair no? cadenza is a bit warmer and more bassy...has an even treble range...whats the problem?
@@imwhatsnew although video focused more on sound, you did empasize the $$$ difference. missing out build n cable quality
Apart from that, kiwi cadenza sound signature is being compared to be on par with aful performer5 and the like.
and then i see this video. connfused between waner n cadenza.
first video of yours ive watched and I subscribed right away! Your presentation and explanations are great.
Thank you!
I guess the constant change of camera views is fun and cheeky ... but it's kind of annoying.
listening to quartets and flighty Piano pieces ( Flight of the Bumble Bee ) , I've found the Zero can become a bit too sharp sometime , where the Wan'er do it better . On the other hand , trying the Carman Habanera reveal the limitation of the Wan'er , not they it sound bad, infact it sound great , but compared to other IEM with a more elevated treble / high mid the intensity just lacks a bit
Hi , Between the Kiwi Ears Cadenza and the Tangzu Wan "er, which one sounds warmer and is closer to a 1980s vintage hifi sound? Thanks
The cadenza, I'd say.
Very Good Review. Greets from Argentina !!! 😃😃
Great Personality 👌😁
was listening to this video and when I glanced at it I almost got a heart attack when I mistook the graph for my monitor getting lines hahahaha
I like the small touch of humour
bro i felt kiwi ears cadenza to have a much tighter base than warner was leaking base into the lower mids listen to descending by jysper kyd you will realize how muddy Warner sounds.... but after all both fall into the same curve and you wont notice much difference to normal ears until you ask for it but the clarity and space between instrunents also i felt was bit better in cadenza
What would you prefer ,cca lyra, waner or kz zx pro
If the 7Hz Zero is the king of the segment, then the tangzu wan’er is, well, the queen! 😬
Great review! I am leaning more towards Tangzu as I want more bass. How would you compare Wan'er and Salnotes Zero with CCA CRA+? Looking forward to your recommendation. I currently own a CCA CRA and I want to sidegrade to something that has a bit different sound signature.
the Salnotes Zero are much better than the CCA CRA+, also, the CCA CRA- its better than the CCA CRA+
and the Tangzu has a better tune than the Zero, but the Zero has a better driver with more resolution
I have CRA+ EDX Ultra 7hz salnotes zero og CRA etc
Personally 7hz salnotes zero sounds much better than CRA+
CRA also sounds better than CRA+
CRA sounds more shiny and has cleaner bass
CRA+ is bit muddy and more ear piercing the sss sounds are so sharp it hurts ears
While CRA is harsh but it doesn't hurt
7hz salnotes zero sounds much cleaner has cleaner mids much better treble no sharpness at all bass is lacking tho
7hz salnotes zero has way better soundstage way better separation and imaging
OG CRA might have wider sound representation
But 7hz salnotes zero soundstage is actually better and bigger
Only bass is lacking need a second driver to solve the bass like a tiny subwoofer
@@Smzxe what's your opinion about the Tangzu Wan'er? I just ordered mine
@@dantsu1616 Tungzu wan er is much better than 7hz salnotes zero better bass better vocals bit wider sound
When I hear 7hz zero it sounds so bad honestly to me
Bass lack luster vocals are too laid back
I mean I felt something was lacking in vocals bro it was too veiled
Instruments sounds were excellent I don't mind great Soundstage imaging and separation
Very well done
Well treble in 7hz zero gets screechy sometimes little harsh at nightime listening when I'm relaxed
Waner did much better vocals are more forward and better bass is much better
Even treble is better done in waner
Unlike 7hz zero which can get screechy
Waner is more smoother has better vocals better bass typically better overall listen
Nice review! How does the wander and the moondrop lan compared to tripowin mele then, technical, detail wise?New sub here. Thank you.
Haven't tried the mele so I couldn't say. And, welcome!
Saludos excelente vídeo, entre los 3, cuál me recomendarías para un género como el metal en dónde necesito la menor distorsión adicional posible y un bajo más controlado, parecerían ser los Wan'er pero estaría bien si me dieses tu opinión. Gracias.
Have all 3, the Zero are the most analytical.
Is there an easy way to check channel imbalance in new/old IEM's? Without any measuring equipment. Please don't tell it will be audible as I'm new to this hobby😅
If it's a small imbalance it won't be audible..so its fine 🙂
@@imwhatsnew ok. Also been watching ur review lately, they are really unique and we'll explained 👍
Love your content! Do you have any views on KZ ZS10 Pro X?
i have not reveiw that iem
@@imwhatsnew oki, could you help me with an IEM around 50$ with good mic? It's hard to find IEM reviews which also covers mic quality.
Which out of all the new headphones would you recommend for someone who likes vocal based music(bollywood) around 20$?
The two best ones I mentioned..the rest is a personal preference ..
Awesome review 👍👍
What's best in comfort for long use
Hey, does an EQd Salnotes Zero (with increased base) sounds good or an EQd Tangzu Wan'er (with increased highs) sounds better?
They sou d different but I can tell you the salnotes zero does not respond well to a bass boost.
@@imwhatsnew Oh, okay. Any reason why even though their driver is good? Also, any idea on how wan'er responds to eq?
The driver isn't particularly good.. It's just eqd well and within it's limitations... Trying to get more bass would push it beyond.
Hello sir! I'm newbie
Can you help me to choose between tangzu wan'er and salnote zero
I'm goin to use it to play codm and listen to phonk and ASMR thanks in advance sir!
Love from the Philippines 🫶
So are there truly 2 cameras in this video or in reality there are just 2 Abhisheiks?
Why would you assume only 2 abhisheiks ?
@@imwhatsnew true true.
Zero 2 vs Zero vs Wan’er ?
What about khan? Can you compare that with 7hz Zero?
They're supposed to be sending me a unit..haven't got it yet
I am really confused between waner, hola, cadenza, zero red. I am looking for a warm signature with the best technicalities i can get under 50 usd
Same bro...
What did u buy?
@@lel4515 zero red
Thanks for info Bro👍
10/10 intro
For Apex Legends, Valorant which IEM should I get? Zero or Waner?
Won't matter much..both will do well. How much bass do you want 🤔
Average. I am not actually a bass lover. I just want clear sound, accurate footstep and position.
@@therexbro6711 Zeros are great for valorant and apex

Both zero and waner are good.. Waner is a bit more fun though
