Since the 2016's are out, you can get a used 2015 with very low miles for around 65k. And if you wait just a little longer, say 6 more months, you'll be able to find some for under 60k. Good things come for those who wait. Good luck and great review. I liked the seriousness and professionalism of the little girl.

Great review Steve! Beautiful truck with a hefty price tag. Perhaps the reason for the trucky qualities may be GM's attempt to keep the Yukon Denali more differentiated from the Escalade. I definitely agree that this SUV needs a few more wow-features like electronic aids and a bit more of an upscale interior for this price.
    Merry Christmas from Ottawa, Ontario!

Wow, what an amazing looking SUV. GM has done a great job with the outside styling, interior over previous generation and utility. This would be great for family hauling or towing who seek such uses, but the MPG is one area that will always hurt these full size SUVs.
GM rules in this segment, but after owning a 2003 GMC Envoy XL SLT2, with plenty of low quality materials, poor customer care and mechanical/safety issues my family swore never to own another GM vehicle. We will only stick with Japanese automakers, which is a shame as the new generation of GMs cousins have a lot to offer.

ilham Defra why would you Buy this Gargantuan of a Car. where most of Southeast Asia has..
      1. Small Highways Mostly 4 lanes.
      2. Small Service/City Roads mostly 2 lanes specially in country side.
      3. Lots of Smaller Cars competing for right to go first on a 2-way road.
      4. Lots of undesirable Drivers mostly teenagers in a Custom Underbone Bikes with no Helmets. who thinks every road is a racetracks.
Not to mention that this Monster SUV
      1. Is a Gas Eater where gasoline in most SouthEast Asia can reach to almost a Dollar per litre
      2. This Car Sips Gasoline like more than 4Litre for every 24Kilometers and has a Fuel Capacity of 117.348litre on full
Tank, which i'm sure doesn't run on a Regular type of Gas.. which is OK if you owned a Gasoline Station and not worry much about fuel
      But it's just a personal opinion..maybe your a
      -Very Filthy Rich Dude
-A Corrupt (I mean Good) Govt. official
-Or a Son of a very rich Dude who just wants to be branded as an Attention whore by anyone on the Indonesian Road
No racist intention or jealousy on my side.. so please don't be angry.. just an opinion.. peace...

actually i just dreaming if someday i can buy this, lol :v but seriously, i dont undertsand how a car brand that doesnt have dealer in a country can be delivered, is it use alternative other gm brand dealer like chevy (because im sure chevy is everywhere) or how?

    • @-0-R3B3LL10N
      @-0-R3B3LL10N 9 ปีที่แล้ว

ilham Defra I'm sure there is a Car Dealer in your Country who specialized on Importing Cars by Personal orders.. or you can buy it yourself and ship it to your Country problem is you will pay triple of the value of the Car shipping plus TAX and "under the table" payments for the people working in Custom Sector of your Country..

And for those who say its a P.O.S I will bet that the Audi you buy will crap out before this will, hell they are plenty of these around (older ones) with well over 200k on them with no problems!

Steve, i think you'll find that Consumer Reports places Audi higher than GM for the past 2 or 3 yrs now. Not trying to be argumentative, simply adding another perspective. This year I think only Lexus topped it.
I agree that Audi doesn't have anything this big though. Loved the review, keep up the great work.

Everyone is commenting about the high price tag, okay sure 75K+ is expensive for a GMC but go German and you will be in an even higher price bracket. This isn't the 90s anymore American vehicles have come along way but some people will always be brainwashed to think foreign vehicles are superior.

"Makes the Toyota Sequoia look like a mid size!" Is that a joke? I'm 6'1" and 240 lbs and I can sit in the 3rd row comfortably in the Sequoia. This Yukon "XL" has more room in the trunk but for no reason. Why keep that much trunk space and take away from the 3rd row leg room?? GM you almost sold me until I found out how little room there is in the 3rd row..

    • @drjd2real
      @drjd2real 6 ปีที่แล้ว

Gabe Sahakyan I agree with you. I was about to type exact same thing. I'm 6'4 and can sit in the 3rd row of the Sequoia. All of that cargo room is retarded unless you're family is 5'10 and under. This suv looks long as hell, but has no legroom. I'm highly considering a newer QX56.

    Steve,
Just purchased a 2015 GMC Yukon XL SLE. has leather and 4x4. Not as plush as the Denali featured here, Yet I must say I'm VERY unhappy with the cabin noise and vibrations. The most concerning being the buffeting, like vibration that can be felt inside the cabin. According to many of those affected, the sensation gets worse when the vehicle switches into V4 mode. Look into any GM forums, and you'll find them flooded with the same complaints. Thoughts?? Experiences?? I know car sales and profits are the bottom line, but how can this issue continue to be ignored.

+Jay Culbreath Jay, I'm really sorry to hear about your issues. I wish I knew what to say. This is the first I've heard of it and if you know me, If I experienced anything like what you're describing I would've said so. Unfortunately, I get an alarming number of such comments about all kinds of vehicles where there's a very specific issue affecting a small number of vehicles and I empathize with them. It would drive me nuts if I bought a new car and it had a nagging, seemingly unsolvable problem. Hopefully, the squeaky wheel gets the grease here. Good luck.
