Yes it definitely is the same. Only difference is grills, lights,name plates, engine power,and length of your speaking on Tahoe vs xl and not the suburban. The suburban and xl are the same length.

5.3 vs 6.2, That’s Not Fair
General Motors didn’t really think about the legroom space for the 3rd row because whenever I was in the 3rd row with my older sister and my little brother (I am the tallest one sitting in the 3rd row), there is just little to no legroom for me at all
The xl and a suburban have a little more leg room in 3rd row than just the standard Yukon or Tahoe. The wheel wells are in a different position which gives u that extra space in the longer suvs
I’m pretty sure they are pretty cheap now

Wasn't really a vs! I am in the market of purchasing one of these and this video still hasn't made me decide which one is right for my family. I know the grills and lights are different and the engines are different but I feel like the interiors are the same. I'm trying to find out what is the major differences and pros and cons of each.
So I ended up buying the suburban. I took 4 Yukon xl and 1 suburban for a test drive and I enjoyed the heads up display and the stronger and slightly quicker engine in the Yukons but each one that was in my price range had some sort of cosmetic issue or pcs missing and I decided to try 1 suburban and it was super clean! It had everything the Yukons had and looked the same interior wise except the HUD and the Wi-Fi but I am satisfied with sacrificing that stuff for the almost mint suburban. Some places didn't want to get me the remotes and headphones and tow plate cover . And the dealership I got it from thru in besides the 2 headphones and 1 remote it came with,3 more higher quality headphones and 2 better remotes . Ya I am still thinking bout the power the Yukons had but the suburban is still powerful. The paint job was flawless and it still looked like it came off the showroom floor! I ended up paying a little over $30000 with interest so paid a lil more than I wanted but it was worth it. Some places just take trade ins and throw em up for sale and other places do 100 point inspections and detail em. First impressions mean everything ! So u car lots who don't care I just want to say your losing business because you don't want to spend that lil extra to get em right! I was so close to getting a Yukon and settle and I'm glad I didn't! I had to travel all around Michigan but it was worth it! Cawood Honda is a great dealership that cares!!! Thanks Ali and Kyle!!!
I feel the same way as you about this video, not what I was hoping. I believe I will be going with Chevrolet as well the 8spd on the Denali is known for issues.

Yes but the 5.3 is less prone to breaking down and I test drove both and it's not by much.

Suburban vs cadillac escalade
The escalade just includes a more upscale interior and exterior. Which means it costs a lot more. The suburban is for the average family who don't need a luxurious ride.
CzHGam3z the price or the suburban doesn't say that. I've found one maxed out 2016 suburban LTZ for 83K that is to much money for average.
Ronald Holloway I saw one for $73k and I had sticker shock. My 1997 was about $45k fully optioned.
There's no need because they both are the same car in fact the Cadillac Escalade is a luxury Chevrolet suburban this suburban already has luxury features
