- Taking the Lucid Air Pure AWD for a drive around and give you my feel for how the vehicle drives and some of the driving related features.

Lucid does have Dream Drive Premium, so you can get the surround view and blind spot video for an extra $2,000, without the need for the Pro. I think that is fair. Since I have DD Pro I have these, including lane centering and future autonomous driving (I hope).

I've been test-driving all the brand's EVs for a year🤔. Every EV has pros and cons, regardless of price. There is one brand I never thought about, "Lucid Air." OMG, this is it! Air Pure doesn't have some luxury futures, but it is a reasonable price, and I fell in love with it. I will pay an extra $2,000 DreamDrive Premium for 360-degree surrounding images. Good things come to those who wait😂. At last, my mind is set for Lucid Air🎉. Thank you for your video.

Thank you🥰. Your video made me decide to order Air Pure. I did it!🎉 I added DreamDrive with a 360-degree camera as an option. But they just discontinued🥺 AWD for Air Pure. Studio Adviser told me once they received the RWD, he would invite me for the test drive. RWD is 0.7 seconds slower acceleration compared to AWD. I would not be able to tell anyway. The good thing is one motor less saves a couple of thousand dollars. Good times is coming🌈 @@EV-365

how do you like driving it vs the rivian? We have a Model S and R1T and wondering if we should get rid of the model S and buy the Pure.
Thanks for watching! I love driving both vehicles, for completely different reasons and feels, but we are keeping the R1T because it fits our lifestyle more, though I had originally put the down payment on the Lucid a couple of years ago for it to be my next car until I found out about Rivian. As far as swapping the S for the Pure...since you already have the S, I wouldn't say it would be worth it, unless the S is an older version and you want to get into something newer. The Lucid is a nicer vehicle, look and feel wise, compared to the S, but the S is a great vehicle and is right there at top of class for EVs on performance, tech, and of course charging.
How is the smoothness of the ride/how comfortable is it on bad road? Does it compare well to other luxury cars (including ICE) at that price point?
I have the same vehicle and I think it's really smooth, even on bad roads. It's a huge upgrade from my Accord, which I thought was great.
Yes, smooth. Not float over it like an old Cadillac style but you’re not being bumped around. The car is meant to feel the ground but it balances that well with giving you a comfortable ride as well.
@@EV-365Well said. It's worth pointing out that driving and ride feel tighten up a good bit as you switch into the sportier modes. All modes are very soft at low speed though.

Completely. It is definitely not cheap. Luckily there are cheaper, great looking options coming from some of the other automakers!
Are you too tall or the roof is too low?Your head is almost hitting the roof
I like to sit high, but the A pillar is low to increase that coefficient of efficiency. There is still good headroom because the inside of the roof indents up a few inches. But the A pillar does make getting in and out of the car or popping your head out the window something you have to adjust to.
