Absolutely! If the area is left open, air through that duct, and debris or leaves for that matter, can still be directed towards the radiators. Leaving that open leaves a portion of the condenser vulnerable. We like to protect 100%, no less.
Two questions: 1. On the push pins, how did you reinstall them after the screws are installed? 2. Do you recommend the plastic or aluminum screens? I installed the aluminum on my 2020 SR. I also already removed my license plate panel so I will use track screens.
The push pins are reinstalled before the screws are reinstalled. The re-install is the exact same in reverse. We like the ABS for the darkening effect of the front end it provides over the aluminum. Great questions!
@@michaeldamiano1055 Some dealerships are more amiable to the aftermarket than others. Many Chevrolet dealers install our grilles, some are national dealerships. The NCM has mounted our grilles in the recent past to be installed prior to delivery of the C8 to the customer. Any independent mechanic can install these according to our instructional video. Hope that helps!
No more than the large side pieces. Cannot see them from 2 feet away. Hide them into the corners. They are gloss black to match the carbon flash and also UV resistant automotive cable ties.
Either works. The real question is if you will remove the center radiator block off plate as we did in the video. If you do not intend to remove the block off plate, then the street center is easier to install. But if you want to remove the block off plate for track driving or like the look, order the track center.
How long was the install, purchased last week but debating whether to install it on Z-06 or wait till I get my E-ray. Looks a bit more difficult than my c8 install
Definitely more involved with the Z06 and e-Ray. They are built with Motorsports in mind. Would be good to protect both vehicles of course. Cheap insurance as replacement of one condenser is over $2600. 😮
I feel like I could probably come up with a plastic hex mesh based system that I could roll and shove through the gigantic holes... it all needs to be zip tied anyway. Ridiculous that the OEM ones aren't standard... or that they're so expensive to order with the car. I'll probably get creative with mine...
An absolute must-have, so the radiators do not get beat up on these beauties!!
Thank you. Just what I need for my new ERay order, which has been accepted and is at the assembly plant now! ⚡
This is a much better option than having to remove the e bumper!
Whats Chet doing lurking around? LOL Nice Crosswinds.
Are you protecting/covering up the Front Brake Cooling duct area, and if so, why?
Absolutely! If the area is left open, air through that duct, and debris or leaves for that matter, can still be directed towards the radiators. Leaving that open leaves a portion of the condenser vulnerable. We like to protect 100%, no less.
Are the aluminum grills flexible enough to install from below the car or is better to remove the bumper for installation.
Flexible enough to be installed without bumper removal. We designed them to be inserted without bumper removal required

Chevy Dealers won't mount these. Anyway to find someone in my market to install these? (Delaware)

So zip ties are visible on the center section

hello , I don't have to install a front licence plate so , which product should I use

Approx. time to install?
@@competitionroofing-t6p Depends on mechanical ability. But I would give 2 hours taking your time.

How do you heat it up?
Great question! We use an oven at 180F. Does hurt the material and can leave it in for about 5-10 minutes.
