It’s not as clickbaity as you think. The thumbnails and titles often give the impression that it’s just another empty rumor about when switch 2 is coming, but the actual content is typically novel and interesting. Not all switch 2 videos are the exact same thing.

It’s not even true when talking about just the switch. 2021 did not have games to play, at least not anything on par with 2024
I know he doesn't mean to come across like this but the way he words things in this video and others makes it seem like we aren't allowed to get hyped for the smaller games like Jamboree because they aren't huge triple A games like the next 3d Mario but these games are still exciting for a lot of people. At least we have games this year, the final year of the Wii U had Paper Mario Colour Splash and I believe Star Fox Zero (two games they weren't received that well) well this year we already have a better Paper Mario game and a new 2d Zelda upcoming which will be big and this is coming from someone who doesn't play Zelda games.
I prefer not to continue thinking negatively and pray to the heaven for a miracle soon!🙏

@@superkingdynamic1863Yeah but in my opinion sega and Xbox sucks compared to Nintendo stuff. Pretty much every game on Xbox you can play in switch but hardly any games on switch you can play on Xbox. Also Nin10doland and other Nintendo TH-camrs would lose a lot of fans if they went to Sega, or Xbox and since it is their job they can't afford to lose fans.
For me, the problem was never the switch 2 or Nintendo direct news. It's the speculation. Being a Nintendo channel, I understand that it's necessary to make speculation videos sometimes, but writing the title and making the thumbnail look like it's actual news only to talk about what you think might happen is not only really misleading, but also extremely repetitive. I understand that it's difficult, and I promise that I'm not trying to get on to anyone here, but I just figured it might help to share what I imagined is most people's frustrations. If it helps, I really enjoyed your little side videos where you listed off all of the goombas or koopas in the Mario series! More creative and interactive stuff like that is what I personally would like to see. I wouldn't even mind the speculation videos so much as long as it wasn't clickbaited.
Side note here at the end: it's heartbreaking to hear about how Susan went and I sincerely hope that she's in a better place. Rest in peace.

@Nin10doland, Upon watching the the whole video, I must say I am sorry if you feel put down by the comments. To be fair, maybe some of my comments are part of that but I've tried to go about it in a mostly polite way when I can. Sometimes I feel like I misinterpret your videos. In this video it felt like the smaller games are being underappreciated because they aren't the next Oddyssy or BOTW but I know that you are in fact really excited for these games. I know it can be hard to wait for what feels like an eternity but on the bright side, this year was nowhere near as bad as the final year of the Wii U.
How??! There are tons of games announced for this year talk about those. The Switch successor is looming, theorize about it. Be like video 1: Will NSO continue on the Switch 2 and if not what could they try next? Video 2: Will there be new Joy Cons that fix the drift on Switch, and will they work on the old Switch and will previous Joy Cons work on the new one? I wish I had the time to be a Nintendo TH-camr. I have so many things I'd like to say.

These two topic is like a black hole for the algorithm. Echos of wisdom could’ve been as great as tears of the kingdom or even a link between world, there is also other things about the successor creators could’ve speculate(maybe what the “twist” is gonna be). 50% of the people is only watching these topics and no video to serve the other 50%. If the video is not about the switch successor, those who are critical to graphics are gonna say “that game look bad” or something like that.

The problem is these Nintendo TH-camrs are all frauds to some degree. They are all vacuous clones off each other, scanning Reddit and twitter for the same rumours and same comments. Besides 'Nintendo Forecast' and a few others they do absolutely no genuine journalism and think they are to good to have another job. So we get the same cloned, overhyped and dishonest videos when there's no real need for them.

@@Nin10dolandMaybe consider the idea of splitting into two channels? One exclusively about the switch successor and one about more upcoming news. This is the best way to resolve the 50/50 tug of war thing. Moving the switch successor stuff so it won’t flood the feed for people who look forward to more rational hype.
I feel like I am not at all hyped for the next nintendo console due to being very hyped in January because I thought it would be announced in March/April and then in March/April I was worried that due to a possible internal delay that past Luigi's Mansion 2 HD that there would be no games coming out for a console. Now I know that there is a console coming and I don't see it being announced until November my hype for the next nintendo console has completely died out. If the console was announced in March 2024 I would be really excited whereas if it gets announced in November I would not be massively hyped due to how long it has been.
Too much hype on the internet without any official comment and reveal from Nintendo might have burnt you out. If you have a backlog of games, get to those. During this winter, I finally started to play through the Xenoblade-trilogy, and had a great time with it. I also bought a PS5 to play Stellar Blade, great game, and exited for Astro Bot. Seeing Mario & Luigi back is awesome, Metroid Prime 4 is finally coming.
Maybe next week you could post some cross game Kirby theory?

Why are fans so desperate right now, Nintendo is literally cooking in late 2024, we're getting Echoes of Wisdom next month, we're getting Super Mario Party Jamboree in October, and then we're finishing this year with Mario & Luigi Brothership. How could Nintendo fans be so desperate and upset when we're getting both Mario and Zelda.
I'm replaying a lot of 3DS games now while waiting for Switch 2, so I'm not in a big rush to get it.
As for you, I always appreciate transparency about what public figures are doing. Politicians, celebrities, content creators...help us understand why you have to do what you do even if we don't get it.

I appreciate the work you put into these videos, and I want to stress I’ve never wanted to come off as a hater. I’ll even go so far as to apologize if anything I said ever gave a bad impression or negatively impacted you. I may disagree or be critical of some things, like yes, the Switch 2 speculation, but it’s never meant to be hate. I also strive to be as respectful as I can be when I am critical.
Though, to dip into that criticism briefly- if the well is dry, you aren’t gonna find any extra water going into the same well over and over. You can only talk about Switch 2 which is an ENTIRE unknown so much when all we have concrete is “there’s gonna be a reveal this fiscal year.” And I know, as a side tangent on me being critical, I will admit, most of my criticism came from the insistence they might show a Switch 2 game without the console even being known.
But back on the understanding side, when new rumors come out, they’re worth talking about. Speculating on how Nintendo will handle stuff like pricing, console features, all that stuff. There’s plenty of ways to find things to talk about for the next console.
But we also all gotta keep a calm head. News will happen eventually, we just gotta wait.
I had to unfollow Nintendo TH-camrs because they kept constantly talking about switch 2 & getting it wrong but thank you for explaining what’s going on in the business side of things

I'm personally not ready to move on from the Switch since I have huuuuge backlog for it, lol. Unless Switch 2 is fully bc with physical and digital Switch games, which we don't have any proof of yet.

Well, let's face it: I don't even care, but we'll have to keep waiting for the successor console to the Nintendo Switch when Nintendo is in the mood for it. Patience is the key. 😉
Don't worry, dude, this is just the calm before the storm. When Switch 2 finally comes out, Nintendo channels like yourself will get a big boost in views. I also don't think this year's the worst since we're getting a new mario and Luigi game along with Zelda.
