- One of TH-cam's automated systems is suspending people's accounts without reason or provocation and all appeals are getting denied. Please signal boost this as much as possible because this is a HUGE problem.

in my case this statement is untrue. I have bin subbed since 10k, and watched the channel grow. marks the entertainer I asked for, and spent countless hours watching. I respect his devotion to his fan base for he may be a entertainer, and a actor to a degree. however one can not really forge raw anger. nongullible people can see straight through fake emotions for the most part. but what is clearly seen here is non acting emotion. at a old job it was my duty to profile people. the small movements he makes subconsciously shows anger, where as his face expresses concern, and anger. its obvious so many have asked for marks entertainment, so I say he is the one we asked for, and needed. as he is putting his foot down when he didn't have to. he could've played it safe, and said/done nothing. did he? no, he took a risk, and is actively working on getting things right.

Of course TH-cam recommends this the minute they get caught with their pants down during another controversy. Also, I hope that this video getting pushed into other people's recommendations will only solidify that Mark isn't to blame for the current stuff happening with age restriction. I've seen some people attempt to blame him for no other reason than he's got a bigger channel and it's really sad to me. Mark sticks his neck out on the stuff that counts and I hope that this video is a reminder to everyone about that.
Yeah the situation isn't about Markiplier specifically at all. It's about YT using him and other popular channels as like some sort of "reference sheet to a good channel" to judge everyone else to the harshest degrees.
Just watched the Click's video on the topic, his experiences he shared was horrifying. It really opens your eyes to how ridiculously lazy and incompetent YT has been for ages.
@@sundalosketch4769 Exactly. And I think some people took that whole thing and ran with it as a means to crap on Mark which I think is horrible. From being around when TH-cam was in its infancy, I know TH-cam didn't really bank on being the source of many people's income, but their refusal to grow has been ultimately what has been hurting them for years. They claim they're doing all of this work to protect creators but we've seen so much evidence that it just isn't happening. I'm glad that we have creators sticking their necks out and possibly jeopardizing their relationship with TH-cam for the sake of making the platform better. Maybe NOW they'll listen. I'm pessimistically hopeful for now.

And even the things I enjoy for fun would be gone. I would lose my access to my online guitar lessons and likely have to start over again. And on top of that, I would lose piano lessons too, and I PAY for those.

Issue that should make ANY company on their toes about their software and keeping it at 100% efficiency all the time. They still have a broken algorithm. Next, they have people reading the appeals and denying them with no reason or explanation. They refuse to acknowledge the situation and refuse to resolve it. That’s not trying their hardest. Lastly, I can give you two or three keywords you can type in to find nude women and men on TH-cam with no filter and they have been there for years. TH-cam knows it’s there. There are millions of views on some of them. They ignore that. TH-cam has simply become a lazy business as a whole run by an insane lady who doesn’t care about her people and only sees numbers because she is at the top. And once you’re that high, everybody under you looks like ants.

They can’t be in trouble if it isn’t their fault. If they said the platform was for older people. That they didn’t encourage kids to watch. Yet the way TH-cam is specifically pandering to kids is dangerous. First of all these sites collect data. You need to be at least 13 for that. When not even adults can wrap their heads around the terms and services how can a kid? Having kids use the platform and make videos is literally unsafe. TV still exists! That is a safe place for kids. The internet just isn’t! It will never be safe for kids. I wasn’t allow freedom online until my early teens and I’m thankful for it. If I’m correct I think TH-cam got sued for 170 million dollars for violating the children’s privacy protection act. It will continue to cost TH-cam heavily if they go this way.

@@sacredstudios7921 It's been going downhill for years now. I still can't tell if it's when they got bought out by Google or when they put Susan in charge, but whichever one it was something has to change otherwise things are just going to continue getting worse.
Right now there's no alternative to TH-cam or at the very least one that is good enough to actually compete. Sure there's other media platforms that are somewhat similar but none of them have or in this case had the same potential that TH-cam once did. And so far we can be very vocal about our issues and how these changes aren't making things better for any of us but our voices don't matter.
We can make comments like these left and right but what good are they going to do? It's not like we can go around leaving a message on a bunch of channels about how we feel, imagine dropping something like this on a cooking video, it doesn't fit. No matter how much we scream, shout, complain wishing things were better TH-cam and Susan aren't going to listen to any of us. We could all easily have our accounts terminated on a 'just because whim' while being told "oh you broke a rule, but we're not going to tell you which rule it was".
And lets not forget that if you're a streamer on this platform and your chat ends up being filled with bots and your mods are being overpowered by the sheer amount you have your choices are limited. Keep streaming in the hopes your mods manage to get rid of them all and if they don't then TH-cam steps in and blames you, or you just stop streaming granting a win to these trolls/bots. Either way the streamer loses, the bots/trolls win and TH-cam can't be bothered to help out and fix this ongoing issue.
