I run into the same thing, so many people asking to ride it. Wont let strangers and don't let many friends because a few have wrecked it already not expecting the bike to be that quick and torquey.
That was probably the most fun they had in a while.

These electric bikes are no joke. My friend has a modded surron that does 100mph and i tried riding it in full power and it threw me off. I usually ride a kx 500 2 stroke and i am really comfortable on that.

I didn't even realize until like a minute in that watching you give those kids rides gave me the biggest most genuine smile on my face. They have so few positive interactions with people from their own neighborhoods and outside that it's just beautiful to see the simplicity of the joy children can have even when they're surrounded by so much turmoil on the daily.

I'm a long-time Harley rider, but I have to say that I'm going to have to look into this Surron. It was my first introduction to these types of e-bikes and it's impressive. The thing that terrifies me about this video (it's not the neighborhood, and it's not even how you ride wheelies). It's the potholes. Chicago has some potholes that will eat cars. I'm sure I don't have to tell you what it would do to you and your bike. This year alone, pothole reports are up 59%. Have you ever eaten it in a pothole?

For being in the hood you had some genuine interactions. From the veteran to helping the old man pull up his cart and def with the 3 young men. That made their day im sure. People don't realize that street smarts, friendliness, and respect will get you a long way in the hood. People work, live, and hang out in the hood everyday. You need a healthy amount of skepticism and the ability to know when you need to keep it movin.
