As a car guy myself who has taken unnecessary risks on the street, I just wanted to say you handled this topic perfectly. Had to give you credit for this. You didn't glorify this or smash it to pieces. You showed both ends of the spectrum without being biased. Something that's very hard to do. Once again sir I commend you and love the video.
I'm a car guy 1000% but I got rear ended by somebody doing this shit at a car meet and lost my car that I'd been building for 4 years. I'm glad I didn't get injured but most people in the car community don't condone this kind of driving, or takeovers. Now I've hit those kind of speeds at 2am on an empty highway, sure, but never around a bunch of traffic. Seems insane tbh lol
I drive like this only when it’s like 2am nobody on the road and ya I been stopped by Florida troopers but they let me go cause I just be honest and surprisingly they ain’t wanna knock your record they be like this a warning so then I chill for a lil bit then again I go 😂
Coming from a car guy who just lost his local track (Palm Beach International Raceway) and watching these dudes on insta for a while- WE NEED OUR RACETRACKS BACK. The car scene is only growing and without a safe place to practice/race/etc we’re gonna keep taking it to the streets. Swim team and these guys are great drivers too so i hope you takeover kids stop getting in ur head thinking ur built for this kinda life too cause ur not. Keep it on the track and learn how to drive before thinking u can do this too.
I mean I dont think the lack of track availability is the reason why they do this, they wont go to a track even if its available because there's no other cars to cut between, they want to white line, they want to cut, they want the thrill of escaping death every time. Say for the people that climbs skyscrapers for fun, why dont they have protective gear? Safety rope? Why dont they have a parachute? Because they want the idea that if they fail they die.

Thanks Tommy for making this video & not glorifying reckless driving. I was hit by a car that was speeding at about 50km/hr while I was crossing the street in 2023, I have a brain injury from it and use a cane now, used a walker for about 6-8 months. It majorly changed my life, im only 24.. still recovering, but ya I’m lucky to be alive ! Don’t speed !! ❤

I had a friend that drives like that, and would always think that he is better than everyone. One day he went to have fun with 2 other friends, he crashed the owners car who was 22 and in the passenger seat, the 22 year old died. The other guy that was sitting in the back got into a 6 month coma, and years of recuperation not being able to walk and talk. He, the driver, just had a minor shoulder injury. So yeah thats how this ends.
Absolutely how this ends. I know people who used to drive like this and never on main roads 20 years ago. A friend of a friend was seriously injured. Others I know died being ejected from the vehicle. I'm 2 years almost into recovering from a tree falling on the Jeep I was driving, not speeding or anything. Just a freak accident but had I not responded and hit the gas I would be dead. Being a knowledgeable and well trained driver who can operate under stress is important but these dudes are dangerous. We have motorcycles, dirt bikes and cars who drive like this in Philly and I've seen a few guys nearly hit my vehicles, death wobble braking to stop and plenty of serious wrecks. You're spot on. I know drivers typically walk away but passengers, or innocent driver's hit don't. Even if you're lucky enough to survive that recovery can be years or a lifetime of pain. I have a close friend who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident. A lady on her phone pulled out in front of him. His entire left leg is rods, pins and screws, plate in his head, and he needed to learn to walk again. We both joke every time it's going to rain we get out of chairs like 80 year old men. Lol. But seriously those injuries are for life on many cases. Learn to drive and be a good evasive driver but don't do sht like this on streets. Race on closed roads or tracks. I'm not opposed to guys racing on closed streets but too many guys do this stuff and it's a 1000th of a second for things to go wrong and at 120+ mph when they go wrong, they go VERY wrong.
The drunk always lives, my best friends mom was on her way to work, as a Nurse at a hospital. Hit by a drunk driver on I75, she dies, my friend loses his mom.. the drunk survives unscathed. This is truly how it always goes 😢

My cousin chose to drive like this several years ago. He thought he was the best driver in the world and could handle anything that came his way. A nail went into his tire at 140 mph which caused a tire blowout. He lost control of his car, flipped 3 times, hit and killed 2 innocent people that were standing in their yard. My cousin survived but is paralyzed from the neck down and will spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair. He's locked up in prison for the next 27 years.
My friend had ran from at least 20-30 police by the time he was 19. he thought he was untouchable… it only takes one crash. miss u bro don’t make ur parents have to miss u every day
My brother was on the wrong side of a collision with a drunk driver. You're not only effecting your own family, but likely effecting another (if not multiple) as well. The force of impact doesn't care about whose fault it is. But if you don't care about others, at least think about your mother or father crying over your coffin wondering what they did wrong. They don't deserve that.

Yeah Germany has quite a few highways with no speed limits but it works because it has pretty strict vehicle safety checks you need to get every 2 or so years.

This is my first introduction to your channel and I'm beyond glad I chose to watch this video. It was actually very surprising to me that these young men making the decisions to drive like this are totally prepared for whatever consequences may come their way. The part where squeeze said "please do not come out here and try this" took me back quite a bit. I was really not expecting him to be as thoughtful and mindful as he was. Still a ridiculously dangerous thing to do and if I could convince these guys to stop I would but at the very least I hope and pray that no harm befalls them or any person on the roads around them
You are confused friend. This guy doesn't not know if he's prepared for the consequences. He is not mindful. He does not care about your well being, or anybody else's. He should go to prison for a very very long time. Since he's not going to stop until he's disabled/dead or in prison. I hope he gets caught sooner than later and stays in prison until he's dead. I’m a police officer here in Missouri and this shit absolutely blows my mind that they drive like this i seen so much crazy stuff as a police officer been doing this job for 5 years and i never chase nobody who going over 100 mph at all! They have the right mindset of stopping don’t hurt other people go to a race track and do that!

Just read about that. Apparently, the NYPD and the FBI had been tracking and gathering evidence on him and his crew for the past 2 years. Every single video they've ever posted on social media is now going to be used against Squeeze and whoever else gets arrested when they stand trial. The cops know all of their identities, where they live, etc. Who would've thought posting videos of yourself driving recklessly, crashing into people, and fleeing the scene would have consequences.

Ambulances require whole different skillset. The handling, for example, is WAY worse(much higher center of gravity, worse tires, more weight) and you can't really do many abrupt moves. You have to be smooth and PREDICTABLE. Otherwise people can't give you right of way.
Trust me man, ambulance drivers are FAR better drivers than these guys. Driving a light sports car around traffic like that is much easier than driving a heavy ambulance, with a paramedic trying to stabilise a patient in the back of it. Also ambulance drivers get to practice every day. It's their job.
it's good to hear that those guys are ready to accept responsibility. The question I would have loved to hear though: If you had to chose between blowing into a person, or crashing into a barrier/tree, would you take the latter? Because it is one thing to accept the consequences of your actions, but it's a different thing to chose worse consequences for someone else's sake.
Whether they’re taking responsibility or not they’re still doing it. In a squeeze Benz video when he was racing, one of his mates crashed into the side of a car where the passenger seat was. There’s not much context to what happened after but imagine a kid was in the passenger seat with his mother driving. No matter how skilled you are at driving other people are shit drivers and you’ll end up killing someone.I have much more respect for people who drive like this on motorbikes because at least if you crash into someone it’s you that’s dying. I know someone who was driving probably around 40 - 50mph over the speed limit down some road and killed a little girl and got sent to 5 years in prison.

They are convincing themselves nothing is wrong with this UNTIL someone gets hurt, disregarding the fact that doing it increases the risk exponentially that someone will likely get hurt.
Statistically speaking, slow drivers are the cause of most fatal traffic accidents. Not trying to justify the actions, but most speeders are typically paying higher attention to the road as stated in the content. Bring back the mf tracks and there wouldn't be as big an issue, the state cant say there isnt money; tolls and taxes.
@@k95psycho A professional what? I’m a great driver too, that doesn’t mean I can always predict what the other person on the road is going to do. I don’t care if you’re the best Nascar driver ever, if you hit a patch of black ice, you can’t control your car. There are just some factors that can’t be predicted 100% all the time, and traveling at these speeds, while I’ll admit is fun, it reduces your reaction time. It’s literally a fact that you need more room to come to a stop the faster you are traveling. I’m not saying dude isn’t a good driver. But now that you mention it, I’ve never seen him post a video of him racing other cars on a real track either. If you have a capable car, with suspension and handling setup for it, the car does half the work for you. It knows what you want to do and helps you achieve it. Like my Porsche has multiple sensors reading diff aspects of the road and what you’re doing, and it adjusts everything ever so slightly constantly, to make it better. This guy is driving similar types of cars, he’s not doing this with a stock manual civic lol. So, I do give him some credit, but not all of it.

They only do this in midnight, and specific part of highway that have close to no traffic. These guys doing it on the street 24/7 in the city, and even pick populated places like time square for the sake of it, they are all criminals but it is clear which one of them are worse.

They'd still do it. They claim to be well aware of the consequences, and do it anyway. They admit it that it's not worth it, but still do it. And for what? the one dude said he did it to avoid tickets cuz he couldn't afford them. If you believe his story about being singled out even though keeping up with traffic, yea, sure, it's unfortunate. Don't drive that car as much, or buy a new one that might not get singled out so much. Much better alternative than to just start running from cops. Because it's gonna cost a lot more when they need to pay legal fees, and forced to pay for another person's injuries/death. There is no excuse for driving like that. Not all areas have a track either. And I bet some of those places have less trouble with these kinds of drivers.

I was hit by a reckless driver last year and spent a month in the hospital. I could have died. This person belongs in jail until they understand the consequences of their actions endangering the lives of others.
2:46 This lady is spot on, people loose their grasp of reality when they grow up doing actions that are morally reprehensible, but they perceive aforementioned actions as logically acceptable due to being supported by friends, in turn allowing the social perspective they have to almost become more real than reality itself from their viewpoint. I’d say at first it’s a need for action, a need to fit in, a need for acknowledgment; but later in life it’s most certainly due to their cognitive thinking and critical thinking skills of which are both immoral and apathetic in nature due to their perspective at a younger age.

Yes movies have glamorised it for years but now it’s different with these social platforms, a lot more people are going to die on the roads. I really enjoyed this video! You have a fantastic style of representing all angles. I gotta admit this one had me grinning the whole time watching them drive! How he described it as the car being an extension of you is exactly how ive always described it for myself. I'm a 56 yr old FEMALE (just so ya know it's not just the guys who like to drive like this😂) and I have driven like this many times. I can't even put into words all the feels that go into driving this way. I haven't maxed out at their speeds but im close enough. I have a Challenger and on my dash settings it allows for it to populate your top speed. The first time i found that setting after buying the car i was like challenge accepted! My 8 yr old granddaughter asked me how fast I've gone LOL and she's never ridden with me. Currently I'm at 137 mph. Never been chased by cops though. Watching some of their close call lane changes was like watching myself! LOL I am not as much of an aggressive driver as of late but it all depends on the mood and the situation.

Coming from a car guy who just lost his local track (Palm Beach International Raceway) and watching these dudes on insta for a while- WE NEED OUR RACETRACKS BACK. The car scene is only growing and without a safe place to practice/race/etc we’re gonna keep taking it to the streets. Swim team and these guys are great drivers too so i hope you takeover kids stop getting in ur head thinking ur built for this kinda life too cause ur not. Keep it on the track and learn how to drive before thinking u can do this too.

I was hit by a car that was speeding at about 50km/hr while I was crossing the street in 2023, I have a brain injury from it and use a cane now, used a walker for about 6-8 months. I had a friend that drives like that, and would always think that he is better than everyone.
One day he went to have fun with 2 other friends, he crashed the owners car who was 22 and in the passenger seat, the 22 year old died.
The other guy that was sitting in the back got into a 6 month coma, and years of recuperation not being able to walk and talk.
He, the driver, just had a minor shoulder injury.
So yeah thats how this ends.

Absolutely how this ends. I know people who used to drive like this and never on main roads 20 years ago. A friend of a friend was seriously injured. Others I know died being ejected from the vehicle. I'm 2 years almost into recovering from a tree falling on the Jeep I was driving, not speeding or anything. Just a freak accident but had I not responded and hit the gas I would be dead. Being a knowledgeable and well trained driver who can operate under stress is important but these dudes are dangerous. We have motorcycles, dirt bikes and cars who drive like this in Philly and I've seen a few guys nearly hit my vehicles, death wobble braking to stop and plenty of serious wrecks.
You're spot on. I know drivers typically walk away but passengers, or innocent driver's hit don't. Even if you're lucky enough to survive that recovery can be years or a lifetime of pain. I have a close friend who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident. A lady on her phone pulled out in front of him. His entire left leg is rods, pins and screws, plate in his head, and he needed to learn to walk again. We both joke every time it's going to rain we get out of chairs like 80 year old men. Lol. But seriously those injuries are for life on many cases. Learn to drive and be a good evasive driver but don't do sht like this on streets. Race on closed roads or tracks. I'm not opposed to guys racing on closed streets but too many guys do this stuff and it's a 1000th of a second for things to go wrong and at 120+ mph when they go wrong, they go VERY wrong.
The drunk always lives, my best friends mom was on her way to work, as a Nurse at a hospital. Hit by a drunk driver on I75, she dies, my friend loses his mom.. the drunk survives unscathed. This is truly how it always goes 😢

My cousin chose to drive like this several years ago. He thought he was the best driver in the world and could handle anything that came his way. A nail went into his tire at 140 mph which caused a tire blowout. He lost control of his car, flipped 3 times, hit and killed 2 innocent people that were standing in their yard. My cousin survived but is paralyzed from the neck down and will spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair. He's locked up in prison for the next 27 years.

This is my first introduction to your channel and I'm beyond glad I chose to watch this video. It was actually very surprising to me that these young men making the decisions to drive like this are totally prepared for whatever consequences may come their way. The part where squeeze said "please do not come out here and try this" took me back quite a bit. I was really not expecting him to be as thoughtful and mindful as he was. Still a ridiculously dangerous thing to do and if I could convince these guys to stop I would but at the very least I hope and pray that no harm befalls them or any person on the roads around them

Just read about that. Apparently, the NYPD and the FBI had been tracking and gathering evidence on him and his crew for the past 2 years. Every single video they've ever posted on social media is now going to be used against Squeeze and whoever else gets arrested when they stand trial. The handling, for example, is WAY worse(much higher center of gravity, worse tires, more weight) and you can't really do many abrupt moves.

There’s not much context to what happened after but imagine a kid was in the passenger seat with his mother driving. No matter how skilled you are at driving other people are shit drivers and you’ll end up killing someone.I have much more respect for people who drive like this on motorbikes because at least if you crash into someone it’s you that’s dying. I know someone who was driving probably around 40 - 50mph over the speed limit down some road and killed a little girl and got sent to 5 years in prison.

@@k95psycho A professional what? I’m a great driver too, that doesn’t mean I can always predict what the other person on the road is going to do. I don’t care if you’re the best Nascar driver ever, if you hit a patch of black ice, you can’t control your car. There are just some factors that can’t be predicted 100% all the time, and traveling at these speeds, while I’ll admit is fun, it reduces your reaction time. It’s literally a fact that you need more room to come to a stop the faster you are traveling. I’m not saying dude isn’t a good driver. But now that you mention it, I’ve never seen him post a video of him racing other cars on a real track either. If you have a capable car, with suspension and handling setup for it, the car does half the work for you. It knows what you want to do and helps you achieve it. Like my Porsche has multiple sensors reading diff aspects of the road and what you’re doing, and it adjusts everything ever so slightly constantly, to make it better. This guy is driving similar types of cars, he’s not doing this with a stock manual civic lol. So, I do give him some credit, but not all of it.

They only do this in midnight, and specific part of highway that have close to no traffic. These guys doing it on the street 24/7 in the city, and even pick populated places like time square for the sake of it, they are all criminals but it is clear which one of them are worse.

Man these dudes are intelligent and intellectual when speaking. That really surprised me. Also, notice how they wish there was a track? That's what happens when you shut down all the tracks in your area. People go to the streets. It's simple. Kudos for a good documentary on this.
Bro for real man. I’m sure most of these drivers who cut up like crazy on the highway aren’t actually that crazy, they just want to enjoy the speed of their car. A track is the perfect place to do that but if there’s no track they can only use the streets
They'd still do it. They claim to be well aware of the consequences, and do it anyway. They admit it that it's not worth it, but still do it. And for what? the one dude said he did it to avoid tickets cuz he couldn't afford them. If you believe his story about being singled out even though keeping up with traffic, yea, sure, it's unfortunate. Don't drive that car as much, or buy a new one that might not get singled out so much. Much better alternative than to just start running from cops. Because it's gonna cost a lot more when they need to pay legal fees, and forced to pay for another person's injuries/death. There is no excuse for driving like that. Not all areas have a track either. And I bet some of those places have less trouble with these kinds of drivers.

There’s already kids in their comments saying oh can’t wait to get my licence and swim in my new civic etc that’s what I don’t like about social media racing. Yes movies have glamorised it for years but now it’s different with these social platforms, a lot more people are going to die on the roads. Any driver worth their salt does heavy track and enters series and competitions, these people aren’t good enough for that so they do this.. yet TH-cam allows it whilst blocking anything on the right side or far left.

I gotta admit this one had me grinning the whole time watching them drive! How he described it as the car being an extension of you is exactly how ive always described it for myself. I'm a 56 yr old FEMALE (just so ya know it's not just the guys who like to drive like this😂) and I have driven like this many times. I can't even put into words all the feels that go into driving this way. I haven't maxed out at their speeds but im close enough. I have a Challenger and on my dash settings it allows for it to populate your top speed. The first time i found that setting after buying the car i was like challenge accepted! My 8 yr old granddaughter asked me how fast I've gone LOL and she's never ridden with me. Currently I'm at 137 mph. Never been chased by cops though. Watching some of their close call lane changes was like watching myself! LOL I am not as much of an aggressive driver as of late but it all depends on the mood and the situation.
