What an absolutely precious time for your family! Isn't the Pacific Northwest spectacular? I'm from Northern California but live parttime in Texas and lived in Seattle for several years. There is so much to do and see in Seattle and the scenery just doesn't get any better with the Pacific Ocean and the Olympic and Cascade mountain ranges. Summer time is incredible. Take the ferry up to Vancouver Island, it takes you through the Juan DeFuca Straights and all of the islands, it really doesn't get any better than that. When you were driving into Seattle, Boeing Field was on your left just before the two ball fields. On a rare clear day, you can see Mt. Rainier sitting there like a mirage. It took my breath away every time I saw it.
I am a 52-year-old man, and I would LOVE one of my next birthdays to be at the Great Wolf Lodge! Water Parks are so much fun! Looks like the whole family had such a great time! Awesome videos!
Everything is so green BECAUSE of all the rain!!! They go hand in hand! If you live in the PacNW you just have to learn to love rain. Or at the very least learn to appreciate it's role in creating this slice of heaven and tolerate it!!
Awesome video! Awesome music! Awesome editing, Sam! I took my 8 year old daughter to Great Wolf Lodge in Minneapolis back in the summer and we had an absolute blast!!! It was heartwarming to see your happy family enjoying GWL water park as much as mine did!
Not driving a RV in Seattle is one very smart move. It's very hilly with narrow roads and loads of traffic. Looks like you hit Pike Place and the Space Needle. Can't wait for the next installment.
You guy's are are having far to much fun,😁 Denzi's well deserved celebration🎉 l think this was everyone's birthday 🎂 you were all having a great time! Happy Birthday again Denzi 🎂🥳 Peace 😊✌️ safe travels 🙏Gary San Diego 💙
30:31 the mountains you were looking at to the west were The Olympics (where Olympic National Park is). I live about 16 miles west of Seattle in Bremerton.
Just a wonderful video again . I am an American but have not visited these places ,so seeing your videos is an opportunity to see them . We watch on our large screen tv so we enjoy the scenery too.
Love all of the videos, Atlanta channel too she's a star In the making!! Can't wait to see her blow up! Hard work pays off baby girl. Just seeing the kids faces and how happy they are is one of the things us parents strive for Keep them coming guys love y'all 👍🏽🤙🏽
36:50 Now THAT'S a postcard sunset! And like I said in my earlier comment, I'm listening to your voice, Sam, and combined with that beautiful sunset, I'm getting a bit emotional on your behalf!
I hope you realize you are introducing many Americans to all these wonderful parts of our country through your videos. Thanks for making wonderful content.
I can not believe that your family and you have been able to go so many places here in the United States of America that I and many many Americans have never been to all the areas, theme parks, Rv travel. I'm jealous but she happy you and your family are so blessed to be able to afford these memories. I watch you guys all the time from the beginning.
Second comment already!!! Legit in tears of joy. This is what life is all about!!! Such an inspiration for all families and people. Gosh it looks like you are having the time of your lives. If everyone could experience this, the whole world would be at peace
The music, the editing, the views of America I've never gotten to see, (I've never been west of the Mississippi River) I love y'alls channel best wishes from Tennessee
This is going to be an unbelievable, unforgettable not just a birthday but birthday season for Denzel! I hope you realize this means you're going to have to pull something epic off for Atlanta's birthday!
The Great Wolf Lodge is just down the highway a bit from where I live. I live 4 miles from the Washington State (Puyallup) Fairgrounds. I was working when you came through the area and was keeping an eye out for my favorite Kiwi Family. I drive locally between Seattle and Olympia 3 times daily. I hope you loved my home state. Keep up the fantastic content!
Ive been cheesing from side to side of my face this whole time. I can’t tell you how much I love this. Please please keep doing what you do!!! I have had tears of joy leak out. You are truly a special family and I’d be honored to even have the privilege of shaking your hands. If you are ever near the tristate let me know!!!
Welcome to Washington. I live on the other side of the state in Spokane. To people in Washington the grey rainy days are good weather. Glad you gor to enjoy Wolf Lodge. That place is cool. Such a great trip to watch.
We have a Great Wolf near Disney in orange county. My family goes a few times a year - we love it. Swim all day and play arts and crafts and games.. drive to nearby Westminster / Garden Grove for awesome Korean and Vietnamese food. ❤
I don't know why but watching you count down to Washington gave me the biggest goofiest smile! I'm not ashamed to admit that I kind of share your emotions. When you're happy, I feel happy. When you're emotional about stuff, I get a little teary eyed. Your whole family has that effect. You're so open about things that you draw us in and we feel like we're actually sharing it with you instead of watching through a screen. Golly Bum! I wish I had a 3D TV! Sorry ... you may not have understood that reference. Golly bum is a reference from my childhood that expresses excitement.
Glad to see my favorite Kiwi family absolutely enjoy my favorite city, my hometown... Seattle. Happy to see it living up to the expectation and I cant wait to see everyone's reaction to exploring the city.
So happy you were able to go to Washington. I was born and raised there. Each area has its own beauty. Sadly, I moved to Arizona in 2021 for a job. Maybe someday I'll make it back up there. For now I am living it through your video. Can't believe you stayed at Wenberg County Park, which is juat a few miles from where I grew up. And the mountains you saw while driving through Seattle were the Olympic mountain range, not the Cascades. Both are incredibly beautiful and visible when driving between Marysville and Everett on a clear day.
American here (and native Washingtonian). Congrats on visiting the best of our 50 states. The only one with a rain forest, active volcano and former host of a world's fair (among many, many other attributes). May I suggest 2 must see spots in Seattle for first timers? The Space Needle and Pikes Place Market. Sooo sooo much to experience there. Enjoy our state!
Washington is known for having a lot of rain. You caught it on an average day. But Happy belated birthday Denzy!🎂 Glad you had an awesome time at Great Wolf Lodge! Awooooooo!🐺
Aww that waterfall takes me back. Only been once about a month or two after my uncle moved to Vancouver, Washington. But that's a Pacific Northwest icon. Love how green it is.
I worked in Portland for 4 years. Surprisingly, you caught the falls on a sunny day ( by Oregonians standards) ...its a rainy day when its raining harder😁 Hope you had some smoked salmon while there
The largest waterparks in America are strangely in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin (southwest Wisconsin) ... as odd as that sounds. There is another Great Wolf Logde in Wisconsin too, & I believe it is even larger than this one.
Ahh, Multnomah Falls. Underrated as a tourist stop, but definitely worth the trip. If you ever come back, Silver Falls State Park is home to some other breathtaking falls, although none quite as spectacular as Multnomah. It's been a treat watching you go through my home state; most foreign bloggers and foodies skip it, sadly. You're the first channel I've watched where someone visited Oregon. Thanks for sharing our state's beauty with your audience.
It’s awesome watching you guys enjoy America and may you have such well mannered kids I just watched your daughter open the door for other people that’s so bad ass!
Love watching your experience in this beautiful country … and absolutely loved the intro with Green Day!!! So much much beauty to explore on this earth… keep dreaming and achieving ❤🎉
When I was a kid in the 1980's we took several RV road trips. I grew up near chicago, so we traveled east and west to several states. I visited Seattle when my brother was in the Navy and was stationed at Whidbey Island. The ferry trips were fun as well. used to be a Truck driver, and managed to drive in all 48 states, I live near Eureka California right off highway 101. I even once had a job as a Cartographer for the U.S. Government. Driving is in my blood, I still make a living as a driver, but I get to drive in the Pacific N.W. all the time.
I have been enjoying watching your family see the western part of the USA but I'm also enjoying getting to see places I'll never get to see as well. Thanks for sharing with us!
Oh man I was obsessed with gift shops as a kid. And those frickin' rocks. And 'sticky hand' gels. And things that spun. And things that glided in the air. And anything carved out of driftwood. lol
a Washingtonian here im like 4 hour from this i went when i had just turned 18 on a trip with my two brothers and my dad it was fun. it was one hell of a hike but we made it all the way to the top TOP of the falls. it didn't show it but i was wandering if you guys new that you guys could have gone all the way up to the top of the falls past the first bridge it goes further up.
This was so much FUN watching you there. I've taken my family and when you said that's where you were going I knew you would have a BLAST!!!!! Happy birthday !!!!!!!! 🎈🥳🎉😅
Thanks for visiting my beautiful home state of Washington. It's great to hear you so excited about Washington and I am here in Washington just dreaming of new Zealand! Ha
I work in nearby Olympia Wa and have passed this place a thousand times. Never even drove into the parking lot to take a look at it. Its pretty nice. Wish I had taken my kids there when they were young. ♥
Every time I think They can't do better than this, you come up with a better video. I loved this episode. It took me twice as long to watch it because I couldn't help commenting but it was worth it.
It's great having my favorite Australian family remind me how cool a surprise birthday present is. Waterparks Rock! And then you get Seattle. Beautiful.
Can't tell you how much I've been enjoying the family videos for quite a while now. I like many others love your appreciation of the USA.
This brings tears to my eyes. This makes me so happy. I love the fact that you guys had so much fun
In twenty years, the kids will understand just how awesome this trip was. And wish they could do it again. Family
The smiles on your faces always remind me of what we take for granted.
Seeing Sam so emotional is heartwarming, and being able to share it together as a family is the icing on the cake. Thanks, once again, for sharing!

I'm 36, man time sure flies doesn't it? 😂 Happy Holidays Man!! 🎉
So excited for WA!🌲
Washingtonians stand up!!
I was hoping it was Great Wolf Lodge. That giant bucket at the top is incredible.
Everything is so green BECAUSE of all the rain!!! They go hand in hand! If you live in the PacNW you just have to learn to love rain. Or at the very least learn to appreciate it's role in creating this slice of heaven and tolerate it!!
Props for using Goo Goo Dolls music at the end! Love that band’s early work
I am a Washingtonian, so excited that you have entered my state!..and you are in Washington, there is a Starbucks EVERYWHERE!
Awesome video! Awesome music! Awesome editing, Sam!
I took my 8 year old daughter to Great Wolf Lodge in Minneapolis back in the summer and we had an absolute blast!!! It was heartwarming to see your happy family enjoying GWL water park as much as mine did!
Can't really express the amount of admiration and endearment I have for this family and the quality time they spend together!
Not driving a RV in Seattle is one very smart move. It's very hilly with narrow roads and loads of traffic. Looks like you hit Pike Place and the Space Needle. Can't wait for the next installment.
That's why the green just pops. All that moisture and cool temperatures all year long.

That waterpark looks fun! I can't think of Seattle and not think of nirvana. I'm still have my ticket stub from seeing them in 1993. Amazing concert.

They played Green Day - Time of Your Life at my high school graduation back in '98. It strikes a cord and brings back memories every time I hear it.

I really admire this family. Define wholesome. Such sweet people.
Time of Your Life is the PERFECT song to start this video with! It seems like you're having the time of your lives.
“Good Riddance” by Green Day.
