🎊Was the very first “like” 🎉Wahoo🎉 Totally enjoying this RV series! Been waiting for you to get to Oregon because that’s where I am. Been in Oregon all my life (64 yrs.)and I think Oregon is one of the most beautiful states there is‼️ Been watching you since Kiwi Kicker and I adore your family. All my kids are all grown up and gone and even lost my husband 5 yrs ago so I’m all alone now. Watching Atlanta and Denzel grow up before my eyes has been so special for me! You and Nadine are phenomenal parents. Atlanta and Denzel are very lucky and will benefit their whole lives from your parenting‼️ ❤️fromOregon🇺🇸
It gives me such pleasure to see you enjoying yourselves here. There is so much raw beauty here in every state. It's so nice when whole NZ family gets together. There are so many of us now. God bless each of you! You bring joy into my life.
You guys are such good parents. Such an inspiration. Denzy is an amazing little gentleman. And Atlanta a beautiful young lady. So well behaved. These memories will stick with you guys forever. I’m so proud that our beautiful country can provide you guys with so many wonderful experiences. I really hope you guys come back soon. Love to all. ❤❤❤❤🎉
You had it right the first time! The green mansion is both the Carson Mansion and the Ingomar Club (named after Bill Carson's favorite play "Ingomar the Barbarian.") The club was formed to preserve the mansion in the 1950's. The pink house across the street is the Pink Lady and it was built by Bill Carson as a wedding present for his son. Eureka was founded in the 1850's as part of the gold rush. Most of the Victorian houses were build in the 1880's and 1890's.
Oh, how blessed y'all are to see the wonders of nature. The first time I saw the sequoia trees it just made me feel so insignificant and yet so blessed to see the wonders of nature. I also am happy to see the "children" experience the wonders of America and to see them in awe when they discover a huge tree, see nature, meet people, and, more importantly: THE FOOD!!! Yum!!
What is with slow motion and music....gets you right in the feels every time and it's almost irrelevant what the video subject is. But this one, taking me back to many a night like this with my Uncle and sister in the RV and my parents in our tent at the lake.....good stuff
I was gonna say this in the last video. Forgot, but I'll say it now. I can smell where you are. It doesn't matter that I've never been there. Every forest is the same. Bark, pine, leaves, soil and ozone. Probably the most comforting scent in the world! A scent that triggers genetic memory. The only way I can describe it is a primal, "you are home" smell.
I’ve been in the US my whole life and I reacted the same way when I saw those trees for the first time. Had the same feeling the first time I went to New York and saw the sky scrapers.
OK Patrick's Point IS my most favorite campground. My husband and I spent almost every anniversary there. Almost every October 1983 - 2013. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.
Oh my goodness that outro was so humble and the 🎶 was so good.🤩 . I really enjoyed watching guys chilling watching to TV,eating and throwing the football. "Atlanta saying "Denzey going over to the table to setup the game and play with bears🤗. Great video you guys. It's always nice to see all of you.✨️👏
Your trip is probably very familiar to a large percentage of Americans. Maybe not with an RV, but many families will go camping or visit the woods on vacation. They may rent a cabin, put up a tent or just spend the day, but roasting marshmallows over a fire in the woods is a very common experience.
25:56 Omg!! Thank you for taking me back to my high school days with this song!! I heard the words and thought to myself, I know this song!! Had to double check if I remembered the title and the group correctly or not, and I did. ❤️💙
Some of those "Big Trees" are over 2,000 years old. 😉 Went overnite camping w/ a friend on the Oregon coast, set up a fire and placed a bunch of groceries on the picnic table, turned back to the Truck and when I got back to the table just minutes later, nearly everything was gone. I found a trail that went down the cliff, just feet from the table, and Racoons had everything splayed out down the trail. The got away w/ about a 1/4 of what we had laid out and everyone got some nice Camp food that night. 😊
That's so awesome you were able to see the Pink Lady. Many years ago I was given a counted cross stitch chart of the Pink Lady, which I did manage to finish.
These RV travel videos take me back to the mid 90's when my grandparents owned an RV and took us up north in Michigan in their RV for the weekend. I remember watching the 1996 USA Olympic basketball team on their tiny black & white tv and then making smores on the campfire at night. I hadn't thought about that memory in probably 10 or so years until I was reminded of it because of your video.
Hey guys! Glad to see you visiting my home town! The big green mansion you saw is actually the Carson Mansion which now houses the "Ingomar club". The house was originally built by a lumber baron but has been a private club for many years. I was able to attend an event there many years ago and the inside was very elegant and well kept. The upper floor was very plain because it contained the servants quarters. The pink mansion across the street was, I believe, the old carriage house for the carson mansion. I believe it's now a hotel. have fun!
Loving this! It is so odd but cool to see you guys explore a place I’ve lived the last 7 years. I didn’t realize how much I take for granted, but I live in one of the most beautiful places in the world. So glad you got to experience it and can’t wait to keep watching your journey!! ❤😊
So glad you went from placing stickers on a map to actually being here in the United States. Enjoy this time together, and thanks for sharing a piece of it.
It is wonderful to see places I have been years ago, the to see you see them for the first time, too! 😊❤ I loved sleeping by the ocean when on the Oregon coast. ❤ The slapping of the waves on the shore all night was the perfect soundtrack for sleep. ❤ I haven't been since junior high school, so a super long time ago! Loved watching the boys play catch and hearing you giggle at their antics, Nadine! 😊 Beautiful family making wonderful memories! ❤️
Eureka is part of my work territory. The yellow mansion you caught a glimpse of is the Carter House Inn, a wonderful little boutique hotel where I stay when I'm in town. The architecture is very reminiscent of San Francisco. Eureka is in a very beautiful location but the town has really suffered with the collapse of the salmon and lumber industries, the two industries the town was settled on. Looking forward to your video on Oregon, it is also very stunning, God's country for sure.
I love it! These RV videos remind me of going on trips like this with my brother and parents when I was about the age of Atlanta and Denzel. We went all over the western half of the US in our RV. I'm glad you guys made it to Lake Tahoe. It is one of my favorite places on the planet. I'm an avid Scuba Diver and I plan on getting certified for altitude diving in Lake Tahoe soon!
We, my wife and I are on the southwest journey from SC. Day #11 for us. I am really amazed at the beauty. TV does not show the true beauty of the southwest and the Grand canyon.
I live in southern California and have been to Avenue of the Giants and Eureka once when I was around 10 years old. It's one of those things that I know it's there whenever I want to go back, but just don't bother finding the time to do so. Watching your family enjoy what many of us tend to take for granted makes me realize I do have to go out more often and see my own backyard. Glad you enjoyed of wonderful state of California.
Washington, DC is also mapped out with letter streets and number streets. You can't get lost!!! I have always loved Victorian mansions. How beautiful!!
I am jealous. In all the times I’ve been to Eureka, I have never seen the sun shine. It’s always been cold and cloudy. I’m happy the weather cooperated for you.
Humboldt County is notorious for being a marijuana growers "paradise" you could say. I'm not sure how it is now, but before Cannabis was legal in Cali growers would have massive crops up there by the redwoods. Always wanted to visit. There's a movie called Humboldt County that I'd recommend
I was there in the 90s. Now that I'm in Austin I recount to folks Woody Harrelson and Willie Nelson coming up to buy weed. They'd help do things like hang the banner over the 101 overpass "Save the Redwoods". I'm sure many aren't happy to pay taxes and buy licenses. However, and I hope it's true, that the Mexican cartel is out of there. It went from peace loving hippies to deadly booby traps and murder because of the green. Money that is.
I live a small town 25 minutes south of the Oregon border called Crescent City, you probably drove right through! Amazing seeing these smaller places enjoyed by such an amazing family and big audience! Much love!
I used to watch you when you on Kiwi Kicker doing reactions to NFL players like Lamar Jackson. Now you got the whole family doing big things. Awesome to see.
Next time try and stay at Thousand Trails RV Resorts they're usually beautiful and the one in Pacific City Oregon is in a forest and is an animal sanctuary, I literally had a bear rub up against our tent one night... Terrifying LMAO.
Another fantastic video. In Eureka, the big green Victorian is the Carson Mansion (which houses the Ingomar Club). Lumber magnate William Carson built it. The Pink Lady across the street was built as a wedding gift from William Carson to his son.
So glad you guys went to one of my favorite areas! Until people from the outside visit, they can never comprehend true majestic till they see the redwoods, one of my favorite areas is fern canyon (they recorded Star War VI and Jurassic Park II there). Eureka is an old lumber town that had lumbered the redwoods till the environmentalists stalled the lumber from extracting some of the biggest trees. The architecture is mainly a Victoria style that we call Queen Anne’s, very similar to the buildings in San Francisco. Unlike San Francisco that tried to cover up some of their Victorian buildings during the 60’s, the hippies that moved to Eureka understand the architecture in the region is a showstopper so the town have embraced some of the old charm. The thing about these buildings is they were built with redwoods that were local and we’ve witnessed these homes managed to stay in excellent condition considering how misty and cold the region can get. There’s so far two things I am surprised about this videos: 1) You guys didn’t go to the beach and see how cold the water really is in this region 😆 Not even to look for agates or sand dollar? 2) A campfire with no hotdogs or s’mores? Lol 😆 I think I also would have encouraged you guys to visit a town called Trinidad that is just a few miles where you guys were at cause at some point there was a sea exhibit that people can learn about the local aquatic ecosystem there. Overall though I think you guys did well covering a lot on your trip, pretty sure it has made you guys have a very different perspective about the wonders of the world.
I had my dinner ( mac n chz, bacon chz brgr, and onions, mushrooms and greenbeans cooked in the bacon/burger grease...chefs kiss! ) in the microwave and thought, what are the odds YNZF uploaded?
You would have loved Fortuna,a town of Victorian homes. Every year they have a town wide yard sale. It’s awesome! Plus the county fair and horse races!!
14:49 there are probably quite a few people who live there "permanently", or at the least, leave their campers there full time. My grandparents had a 5th wheel camper they left at the lake year-round for our family to use whenever.
"Return of the Mack" 😊 You guys are freaking hilarious
Please tell me I was not the only one jammin' out to Return of the Mack.. I was grooving 😂
No, we all were "Mac" in " out.

Back in the 60s, we used to go fishing at the Klamath River mouth (salmon, trout, steelhead). Your video shows me how much the area has changed!
