      @user-rf9ih9fl2m could be a number of things of course. Three things to start with 1.air 2.spark 3. Fuel check these and use process of eliminating other factors electrical, fuses, sensors, relays. Start with basics check fuel pump/fuel pressure, check your air filter, check your throttle body make sure there is nothing restricting throttle plate from moving. That would be a good start. If all of those things seem in order move on the electrical side fuses, relays, wire connections, cam/ crank sensors etc.

    Hi all, I had a problem similar where my 2017 GC started acting up (I was getting warnings of everything not working...) shortly after starting and then it shut down, and it wouldn't start at all, I had no power so ever- dead. Make a long story short, it was caused by a short, the wire that connect the indoor battery to the red + connection located in hood on the left (the one that is shown in this video) had a small crack, and the short caused the car to shut down. So I put some electric tape, and then a piece of rubber on top, and that was it. Also to restore the power if you get a short, you need to completely unhook the battery (i did both the aux and main battery, only the negatives) so the car' computer reset. Before hand, I did check the fuses shown in this video and mine were fine...then I luckily stumbled on the short as I was putting the wires back in order.Good luck Also to restore the power of you get a short, you need to completely unhook the battery so the computer reset.

      Was the short you found in a fuse? Was it under the hood or under the passenger seat? Thank you

    • @noideatoo
      @noideatoo 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @marcossandoval7370 hi, the short wasn't in the fuse, but on the large wires going to it and coming from the batteries inside the cabin into the hood, near where the pseudo battery terminals are going on top of chassi by passenger side. In this video, they show it, my short was in those wires (look like a simgle large wire), while the fuses were intact. Hope I was clear

    • @marcossandoval7370
      @marcossandoval7370 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for the reply, how did you know there was a short in the wire? Was it burnt or cut open?

    • @noideatoo
      @noideatoo 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@marcossandoval7370 i was able to start the car after reconnecting the battery, and then I was securing (bolting down) that wire when the shirt happened again in front of me, so heard it...was a lucky find. Then I taped and added insulation as mentioned in my original comment and it hasn't been an issue since. The short happened just under where the red plastic (+) cover sits in ( that plastics cover is easy to remove)

      Were you getting any power to the dash before the short was found? I’m having the issue where I get power on the dash and all accessories power up but when you press the start button nothing happens. Almost like I’m not getting power to the starter. I don’t have a relay tester so hard to tell if that’s my issue. I may just go out and test the main fuse to see if a leg of it is blown

    After replacing the fuel pump Im now having a problem with a vapor lock and my new pump is making a ringing/humming noise off and on-is there a way to fix it with a inline check valve or inline filter of some sort. I have to release pressure on the fuel rail to re-crank it after it runs for more than 20 minutes/ which is a possible fire risk.

    • @partsandlabor
      @partsandlabor  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Possibly
      *clogged fuel and/or vacuum line
      *faulty fuel pressure regulator
      *clogged injectors
      Might try to hook up a gauge to fuel rail and check pressure I believe it should be between 40-60 psi
