I've always got a doc open, ready to note the times he says it in each video; when he's done with all the NES games, I'll make a supercut of him saying "Sponndyloose... Sp-Spondylouse?"
This cover art is burned into my brain; I know I saw it somewhere repeatedly as a kid. Obvious place would be on a rental shelf, but I never rented it, and I 100% would have at some point, so it has to have been some form of advertising, but I can't remember what.
Dammit, I KNEW this was a banger! Used to see copies of it for like $1 all the time when I was collecting in high school and was always drawn to that amazing artwork, but passed it over due to mediocre reviews. $10 isn’t bad though in this day and age so I think I’ll grab a copy. Great video as always!
I never played this back in the day. i always seen it on rental shelves but just didn't have any interest in playing it for some reason. But if I see it at a game store, I'll buy it at the right price.
I recently played through the game and found myself incredibly frustrated. Not by the challenge, but by how they took two great things, robots and dinosaurs, and managed to make a game that was so... meh. It's not a bad game, but it really feels flavorless. Which it shouldn't. I can't help but wonder if it was rushed out unfinished, given how repetitive it is.
I was NES hard earlier this morning. Nice to find this in the evening to chill out. Burst Error = high quality.
Dino wars combines what everyone loves Kaiju, dinosaurs, robots, star wars and space in a jelly sandwich of goodness
Watching you speedrun this did make the game seem way harder than it is!
GO LAUNCH FIST!
This was one of my favorite games when I was a kid. So difficult. the music was great !
DOCTOR BRAINUS strikes again
I've been trying to figure out this game from my childhood....always thought it was SNES game. Thank you!
I hear Jeff Gerstmann bring up this game like once or twice a week. Good to know the story.

Gameplay does seem rather plain, but can't deny that the art style is pretty charming.
behold the power of launch fist

I always enjoyed this game despite the "lonely" vibe I felt from it.
Has that budget game feeling, shame cartridges were so expensive...
The first time I pleasured myself to completion, this game was paused. I will always have a DinoWarz fetish now.
