I just picked this game up (6/22) for my NES collection. I saw it and I couldn't remember playing it as a kid, as I would've been 13 when this came out. Glad I picked this up.
I just played like 10 min of this game, I’ve had it for years and years but never put it in:) glad I did, it’s different. The jumps drove me crazy for a while, but I like it
This looks bad. Thx for being a great channel though I’m about to make an all nes must plays list of every good nes game. Ur channel has helped to get a sense of the games so thank you 🙏
I bet you were typing your script, and you got a red line under "Dynowarz," but not "Spondylus," and you were like "Why is it recognizing 'Spondylus' as a word? Let me look this up."
I have owned this complete in box for many years now. It is frustrating though, the hit detection is terrible. You end up dying quite a bit because of the bugs, and not always because something the player did. It is not that hard of a game. If falling through solid objects, sliding off the edge like your on ice skates instead of registering the jump button, and falling to your death because of those is a turn off for you. Then maybe avoid this one. Otherwise it is not that bad, and the unlimited continues helps lower the frustration.
Good review!!! Never heard of this one. One day robot dinosaurs will roam the earth.
We can dream! Thanks for stopping by
The dinosaur's punch attack (2:14) is adorable, though I'm not sure that makes up for its offensive deficiencies.
Spondylus IS a good name for a galaxy.
Used to play this all the time

As a kid that loved Dinosaurs, I got this for my birthday. Land Before Time, Dino Riders, TGIF Dinosaurs...80s theme was prehistoric.
Thanks for this video, Traviz.
A friend showed me this one recently. It was really different and wasn't too bad. Thanks for the video, NEZ Friend!
Yeah it's not terrible. Playable at least. And you're welcome!
The Dino punch animation is amazing! I don’t like that backtracking after finishing levels though. Thanks for the video, I knew nothing about this.
Love ur channel
The dinosaur part reminds me of one of the Godzilla nes games....
I can see it!
I was one of those kids that got this game for christmas one year from grandma
also got Quantum Fighter or something

Nice! I have a soft spot for Dynowarz even though it's a 4/10 experience.
“How often do you get to be a robot dinosaur fighting other dinosaurs? I mean, other than here, not often.”
SPEAK FOR YOURSELF.
Sinead O'Connor (Conner?) is my mom, I guess?
Just bought yesterday in a bundle, was curious what the gameplay was and actually looks kinda fun 👍
Uncommon game
Ending words with a Z, is cool. Exhibit A.) Dragon BallZ

Don't even need to see the video. Rented this as a kid. Huge pos.
