The 5.7 platform is a great starting point no matter what anyone else tries to tell you. It's just like the others, done right they all can be monsters! It just takes a little more for the smaller engines. 😉

Keep in mind, you are talking about a high 9/low 10 second car. It's going to take just about everything I've done to my car in my more recent videos. Everything from the engine modifications to the drivetrain and suspension. It's not easy or cheap but if definitely cheaper than buying a Demon or a Hellcat Redeye. Now my car has been extremely reliable with all those modifications but with modifying your car comes a lot of down time, patience, money, and repairing broken parts. Just be ready. Watch my "Copy SnB at your own risk" video. 😉
You would have to run around 12-13lbs of boost which I don't recommend if you car is a daily as well. Safe zone for a 5.7 is around 10lbs of boost to keep it reliable. That's not to say you may break things, you may even break things at 8lbs of boost. You'll also need a drag pack and 3.09 Limited Slip Differential to help get you off the line. That may get you there but you may also need a high stall torque converter as well to also help get you off the line. 💪
I have a question! I also own a shaker. 2016 I haven’t done much to it besides put a borla attak cat back exhaust and a mopar cold air intake. As of now I’m in the high 4s at 4.7 being my best 0-60. I don’t need it to be super fast like yours ( although I’d like to procharge it as well in a few years). What could I do to possibly get it down to atleast a 4.4 or even a flat 4
Better/bigger/stickier tires will get you there. Toyo R888Rs in a 275 (I think that's the widest tire you can put on stock rims) should help a lot so you don't spin. 😉

I just bought my first challenger in december 2021 and it's a 5.7 rt and I've really been getting discouraged seeing that like every other sport/muscle car is suppose to be faster, and my best 0-60 is like 6.2 seconds. I'm not much of a racer but I HAVE to know what you did to your car
Don't be discouraged. The 5.7 platform is so bogged down from the factory that there is plenty of room for improvement. I did a budget series for several budgets that can help you along the way. Check those out. All of my modifications are in the description of all of my videos. Might be time for me to do another full modification video and future plans. 😉

To be honest, the level I am at now is not for the feint of heart. Just in parts I've put in around $25-$30k which puts you in line with a new Scat Pack at today's prices. Nothing wrong with getting a Scat Pack or Hellcat if you can afford them (they would come with a warranty as well). Lots to think about but it's a decision you have to make for yourself. Personally, I love modifying my car and have been extremely lucky with having no major issues to date. 😉

Drop in pistons and rods, good blower, run about 15lbs of boost, 3800ish stall converter, and a good tuner to keep the trans happy. HP70 will be what holds you back. 😉

Love the videos, great to see your progress. I do have a question, could you help me out on my suspension parts. I also have a 5.7 that I'm looking to put suspension parts into. I do daily it but want the best for my money. If you could help me out with some ideas it would be greatly appreciated.
AAD is your best bet. They are a little more expensive than BMR, though I am running BMR suspension parts, but are well worth it. If your budget is tight, go BMR. Both will stiffen the right quite a bit but is still manageable as a daily. Both have "no wheel hop" kits that have everything you need. 💪💪💪

I may have told you before but the Hoosier DBR will hook better. I’ll never go back to an ET Street R. I run them at 22 psi and run 1.41-1.45 60’ on my pulley Hellcat on pump gas full weight. Amazing tire. I run 17x10 beadlocks.

I did a 4.5 in 19 charger rt stock on 305 tires and one seat out on 89 gas

Love the videos, great to see your progress. I do have a question, could you help me out on my suspension parts. I also have a 5.7 that I'm looking to put suspension parts into. I do daily it but want the best for my money. If you could help me out with some ideas it would be greatly appreciated.
AAD is your best bet. They are a little more expensive than BMR, though I am running BMR suspension parts, but are well worth it. If your budget is tight, go BMR. Both will stiffen the right quite a bit but is still manageable as a daily. Both have "no wheel hop" kits that have everything you need. 💪💪💪

@@ojari777 keep it at 6-8lbs of boost and you’ll be just fine. I went all last year at 8-10 with no issues.

Mickey Thompson all around, 28x6x17 Sportsman SRs and 305x35x17 ET Street Rs on the rear. 😉
I may have told you before but the Hoosier DBR will hook better. I’ll never go back to an ET Street R. I run them at 22 psi and run 1.41-1.45 60’ on my pulley Hellcat on pump gas full weight. Amazing tire. I run 17x10 beadlocks.
