know this video is a few years old but good job. little tip try using dental floss or a single razor blade to cut the silicone.

I hate to be that guy
    ... lol
However.. you may have got that tank to stick and hold.. but the life is shortened and the level of trust id have is highly diminished. The silicone should have been applied to the base panel first. Then place the rear panel into that bead on the bottom panel. You repeat this for each panel. At the end, you should need a card or blade to scrape away the excess that was pushed from between the panels to the exterior of the tank. This creates a much stronger bond to more of the surface area and allows for more tolerance in the amount of flex the tank can handle during its use.
    Stay well. Looked great otherwise!

I can appreciate that the steps taken to build the tank weren't perfect and if I were to do it again I would make changes such as the ones you suggested. So far the tank is still running and, touch wood, doesn't show signs of any faults. Structurally it seems alright for now. Biggest mistake I think I made it using a really scratched up piece of glass for the front panel somewhat ruining the view so may redo the build anyway. Hopefully better.

@@natarium heyah! good job, but the way you glued this glass is for people who are very brave :) This is a small tank, so tension is not that big, bit it is a matter of time when it will start leaking.
