This is my second attempt at a jarrarium which is the name for an aquarium/terrarium within a jar, usually around one gallon.
This jar holds roughly one gallon in total. The decorations used include spider wood, peace lilly, java moss and a substrate mix including a fluval stratum base with a sand topper (includes small amount of seachem flourite also).
The stocklist is only 3 red cherry shrimp, a nerite snail and a few bladder snails.
There is no heater, pump or light present with low levels of natural sunlight providing a light source and the plants filtering the water by removing nitrates. Water changes will also be performed to further help keep water chemistry healthy for the livestock.
