I'm still using my Coleman light just for nostalgia along with head lights to bait with. Been fishing with one since 1969 under Pendleton bridge on Toledo as a kid with the old man and it just makes me feel good to keep on using it. Still fishin bridges too but mostly the funnel type when the Red Buds start showing. Enjoyed your info.

I use a split shot with a fly. I put splitshot 8 inches above fly. Or, I'll use 2 bobber stops, 1 above and below egg weight, so I can adjust length and a fly. Then, last but not least, trophy bass on a fly. My opinion is best lure to use bar none. You can catch multi species on this setup, and yes, big bass, too. 😊

Must be nice to use the colbalt light . In central Illinois , that’s not an option . I only used the green light in the water , it attracted enough mosquitoes where you couldn’t take a breath without inhaling mosquitoes
Do you know or have any info on how negative generating affects fishing? The lake I fish on is very hit and miss and found out the other day that the damn also pumps water into the lake "negative generating" I have been wondering if possibly that made a difference in fishing. Thanks!
