I love rain teams since they have the first restricted that supports them, also Archaludon being anti-Water with Electro Shot is awesome alongside Thunder users, as well as having a lot of Doubles moves that refuse to miss in rain so Lando(T) can secretly join rain teams as the Electric checker with aimbot Sandsear Storm that has 20% chance to inflict burn to really keep physical electric attackers at bay.
I actually really enjoy weather in pokemon because I like to play type challenges so they become really valuable to play around to help get through difficult fights, so this video really made me realize how i could of done it better so thanks for that!
I find weather a cool aspect in a competitive strategy game and it feels more in tune with Pokemon aestetics than things like terrains. But in terms of game design they are simple (rain=better water attacks), but complex at the same time. For example I don't even know if the game tells about the interaction of Thunder and rain. But competitively it's interesting, since you don't want them to feel useless and you don't want team NEEDING to bring Pokemon to conter weather. For what I have been seeing it is in a good middle ground at the moment.(I think)
Honestly, running Rillaboom with Cloud Nine Altaria sounds like a cool mix. But, one icy wind user and.. Nah, scrapping that plan.
yea.... losing to ice rider is uhhh.... tragic
Easily sand teams, we love Excadrill Tyranitar yuri
YES EXTAR YURI IS SO VIBES

Glad you enjoyed and found this helpful, best of luck with your runs!!
@@oLivSama thanks! Hope you get a lot more successful, you deserve it!
Thanks a ton!!
I really like sand personally, it's the only thing I play outside of restricted formats
Sand is very fun, are you more of a lycanroc sand or an excadrill sand player? Or do you opt for something more niche?
I absolutely can't stress how much I do not miss hail xD
Snow is amazing definitely agree
Sun is my favourite pokémon weather type.☀️
sun is super fun that's totally fair, enjoy using it rn there is so much viable on sun these days!!
I always loved rain teams tbh.
That’s because it was too easy to pilot lol

This gens easily the most balanced weather has felt both as an archetype asw as among all 4 weather styles having had relevance
