Excellent. Group vs Stitch. I can see where I would you use both of them. I do have a random question. Do you have a video on where you got the sound effects for the whoosh in the intro?
I don't have a video on that (yet)... but I plan to make one. I got that sound effect from MotionArray.com... you can sign up and get unlimited downloads of sound effects, background music and also video and graphic footage for use as B-Roll... they have a great search feature to make it easy to find what you're looking for :-)
Thanks for the suggestion! I don't think it's in the cards just yet but I do plan on providing "something" to my subscribers at some point in the future... just not exactly sure what that is yet :-)
I think the Insta360 webcam with AI looks awesome! I haven't tried it myself, but it appears to be a great option if you want it to track your face... say if you move around a lot while filming yourself. The Desk mode also looks cool. You probably won't get as good a picture as you would out of a DSLR camera with a good lens... but it is 4K and if you're looking for something that just plugs in as a webcam this looks like a great option :-)
Camtasia does not include sound effects by default... but Techsmith does offer "Techsmith Assets for Camtasia" as a separate subscription, and it includes lots of sound effects, music, video footage, templates, etc. I don't personally subscribe to Camtasia Assets... I use a third party called MotionArray.com and that's where I get my sound effects and background music... and B-roll footage when I need it :-)
Question... Would it be good to start now with 23 or wait for 24 to launch then start? still making content to start, then was going to start working on the video editing..
Ok, so there are currently 2 ways to get Camtasia... 1) Annual subscription (this is the lowest up-front cost option... and as long as you remain an annual subscriber, you'll get access to the latest versions)... or 2) Perpetual license (it's a higher initial payment to buy the software, but then you pay a lower annual maintenance fee if you want access to the latest versions going forward. If you go with subscription, you'll always have access to the latest version. If you go with perpetual, even if you don't pay the maintenance fee next year, you'll get access to version 2025 when it's available since you would have purchased Camtasia within 30 days of 2024's release. I hope that makes sense! :-)
@@RobtheMaritimer Thanks for the info Rob!! Yeah I have the Perpetual for Snagit and lower Maintenance fee.. Think Opt 2 better.. Higher upfront but lower every year after that in the long run.. Again thank you for looking into it for me..

Hey Rob,
Would be cool if you and TechSmith organize a giveaway of the new camtasia 2024 to your subscribers!

Perfekt
Great tips, thanks Rob 👍
💎💎💎!! I've stitched clips but hadn't use animation across them. Thanks a million!
Awesome! Glad it helped :-)
Thank you, I think I watched the majority of your videos and I like them.
What do you think about webcam insta 360 ai?

GREAT video lesson - huge thanks Rob!
No problem! Glad you found it useful :-)
I love the way you take features in Camtasia that I know about and show how useful they can be.
Thanks! I'm glad you find them useful :-)
Thanks for this video, Rob. Question - for the sound effect at the start - does Camtasia come with some sound effects? Or did you find it third-party?

@@RobtheMaritimer Thank you for that. I'll check them out. :) Currently I'm using Pexels, but I know that's just for B-roll.
Great trick. Thanks Don
Thanks Don!

I was going to give you an answer... my best guess... but thought I should check with Techsmith first. I'll let you know what I find out :-)
