    Tip #1 Don't announce it, keep it to yourself - it helps, less pressure on you, #2 Pace yourself, don't expect to change over night. TRY your best to do 30 minutes a day of exercise but you might have a to work up to it... with eating, keep increasing in healthy eating habits, #3 Stop stepping on the scale! It will discourage you and it doesn't tell the whole story, Take pictures instead or take measurements, #4 Stop being lazy! Don't give up, don't try to take short cuts None of them work!, #5 BE PATIENT !!!!!! :)

    I don't like the gym life either rather workout outside. I lost 65 lbs from the same things you did changing eating habits and working out at home its been over 6 years since since my max weight . Thank you for sharing.

    I definetely agree, working out at home is the way forward. That's how I lost a lot of weight. At the moment I'm doing Tae Bo from a DVD and I love it!

    This is exactly how I've lost 20 pounds. Have 10 more to go, but one thing, I dissagree with is the scale. For some yes, it ruins your mindset, but for me, if I don't w'eigh myself once a week, I will loose my mojo and start eating more and more crap.. I get a little voice in my head saying 'oh you're fine, you could eat that, what harm can one little bag of chips do?'.. I need the scale to tell me I've been cheating too much, or else I'm getting back up there in no time.. Offcourse its a bummer to see that theres maybe only 200 grams lost in a whole week, or maybe even 0 grams, but I dont sweat it, cus I've found that working out hard 3-4 days in a row, will leave you heavier from retained water or swelled muscles what ever, but if you then take a rest day and check the scale again, sometimes it will have dropped half a kilo in just one day!.. So just don't take the scale too seriously, just use it as a guide, and please do enjoy and take note of how much smaller clothes you fit in all of a sudden.. That is the most fun for me, putting on those favorite jeans and have them fitting perfectly again :)

      +Michelle Jensen I'm the opposite. If I weigh myself then I start thinking, "Ugh, I weigh so much, what's the point? May as well keep eating like crap" or "Ugh, the weight isn't coming off fast enough!" Whereas, without a scale, I'm not beating myself up every day over how little I'm losing. I like to go by how my clothes fit or how much my face has thinned out, or by looking at current photos compared to older photos. I do hear lots of people say that the scale helps them though, so I guess different things psych different people out :)

      The scale really helps, but what helps most is people's reaction like when they hasn't seen you in weeks, months. I have to go on the scale every mornings.

    I just want to let you know your advice has been very motivating. I am on my own personal journey. Tip #1 is so true, I had to learn. Do not over-share. Everyone is not going to be positive.     WOW I love this video. You are actually my spirit animal! I started gaining weight at uni, and was at 95kg the last time I checked, and I'm a size 16 and my goal is get to a size 10, and I HATE the gym too lol! I haven't found anyone on youtube with such a similar weight loss background to me, you have motivated me so so much. Thank you for the tips, I'm so grateful.

    I'm only 13 and honestly because I'm 13 I don't know if I'm old enough to go to the gym. It's true about the announcing I told people and they were always like you shouldn't be eating this or that . But from now I'm going to start drinking way more water and jogging for half an hour after school and I hope this helps. I really do!

    For the Weight loss green store tea product itself, it seems to be helping with my weight loss, and I believe it is a great product due to it working without any negative consequence. However, I never had a chance to find out how it would work without the dieting and exercising. And for the company, they really cares about its customers and wants to make sure they are happy with the product! I would not hesitate to recommend this product for my friend, and actually 3 of my friends already purchased this product after they saw I did lose lots of weight.

I have been putting off my weight loss journey for a long time , but I plan to implement my diet change in 2016. people frown upon working out at home , but all exercise is still exercise. I used and love all fitness blender workouts lol I can be comfortable in my home and work up a sweat. your video is very inspiring! !!!!!!!!

    You are better than any professional from any field that I've heard up to this date! You hit sooooo many points spot on. Once i began a fitness regimen weighing 191. For three months i walked, jogged, ate clean. My dress sizes were prgressively going down down down. At the end of 90 days i got on the scale and had only gone down to 190, so i gave up. That was the most unsmart thing i'd ever done in the fitness arena. I'm going to listen to more of your vids. Soo many of the things you said resonated with me, but i'm tired of typing. Thanks for the video, you've impacted my life. One more thing, i was leaning toward veganism. Still am. Not to lose weight, but my choice. I liked what you said about not going to any extreme, and to do things gradually.

      Me 2. I need a better menu of different food to cook. I'm not a picky eater, but I don't really get hungry for breakfast and lunch. Which is not good. I have the hardest time remembering to eat. For ppl that want more then water just add fruit. Just find the right mix for you.

    I stated with fitness blender when I started loosing weight. Yes you don't need a gym but I did still join a gym but I go for group trainings only.
    pretty inspirational, you should tag fitness blender to your post. they've really helped alot of people.

    I quit my gym recently because I felt trapped with the obligation of going and paying the monthly fee. I'm trying to find creative ways to get fit. Doing yoga and kettlebells at home and walking !

    That's right simi.. I hate scales, it makes me feel that I might doing something wrong and it's useless.. I don't eat any carbs, I'm eating clean, and I'm also doing body shaping workout 5 days per week plus cardio workout 2 days per week and I saw my abs getting flat, my butt getting bigger, my legs getting lean, but surprisingly I didn't reduce any weight by measuring on scales 😭

    I agree 100% about not needing the gym! Recently I have gotten of my arse and done something about my weight (1 stone and a half heavier than normal) it may not be allot of weight but for me it was, as I am generally someone who keeps fit, always have though. My weakness is snacks; crisps, sweets, fizzy drinks, biscuits, carbs and eating heavy meals at night so my system cannot digest, so it stores the fat! :/Its been six weeks now that I have gotten back to my old routine of eating better, and I feel great! :-) My clothes are feeling looser, I replace sweets with dried apricots, I make my own smoothies with whatever I have in the fruit bowl/fridge, I add spinach with every meal I eat(its refuge!), snack on fruits and drink allot more water plus I do not eat past ten at night only fluids are consumed. I walk allot (always have) and I use to cycle ALLOT in the summer months, I will think about doing that again this year Know need for the gym, you can do it at home! :-)

    Thanks for sharing, I agree with you about not sharing your weight loss with everyone because of the kind of feedback you may get from others. Smart to be selective about who you share with. Good advice you have.

    Tip #3.... yes I always get on scale daily and get frustrated but yet my clothes fit better so scale means nothing now. Great advice on all tips!

    Keyshawn Pugh the thing is I don't want that W in my size anymore. I want to get rid of the weight before health issues start happening. I use to be a small woman with confidence and I loved it. I'm going to lose this weight if I have to cry every step of the way.

    i just did a home workout last night and loved it. At first I thought why bother working I'll just go to the gym tomorrow, glad I fought that lazy urge. Also your advise if making slow changes is great I am doing that now and its working for me! thank you for this video all in all

    Ok, I honestly don't know how I came onto your video but this describes me EXACTLY to a T every single thing u said not to do I did. Idk but u really motivated me it kind of sounds cheesy but I'm going to start tomorrow(it's night time now lol) I've already given out drinks I only drink water and cranberry juice. And the hardest I think will be giving up Nigerian food. But I will try thank you so much! 😘

    I have been taking *weight loss green store tea* for a while... I feel so much more energized... I no longer wake up tired any more... I have energy to get through the whole day and even enough to do an hour long work out... My appetite has decreased significantly and longer am always reaching for a bag of chips or a candy bar... I havent stepped on the scale yet but i can feel my clothes getting looser...

    I fluctuate between US 16 and US 18 .... and i'm looking for US 10 (but US 8 would be even better).
    I'm 5'5'' ..... this is pretty inspiring video. I do work out 2 sometimes 3x a wk tho.

    How long in total did it take for you to get where you are now since you started trying to lose weight? You said it took you approximately two months to get from a size 16 to a size 12? But how long in total :)? And also what did/do you eat when you get cravings for something sweet or savoury? Or did you just ignore the craving?

    I reduce carbs bread pasta rice because it holds water bloat if we look at what we eat in a day 3 meals 2 snacks
