The usual price for this monitor is around $229.99 USD, but right now, at Best Buy, they’re on sale at $129.99, which is a really a, really good price and is in that budget range if you are looking for that sort of monitor. I got this monitor recently as well as a dual vesa mount, but how do I remove the "Tuf" backplate so I can vesa mount it? The back is curved and doesn't fit right with the flat vesa mount. Do I need an adapter?

I had a question, how do u change the refresh rate or the hz, because it shows 60hz and I don’t know how to change it, or is it that it change whenever I get into gameplay when it changes by itself? I have a PS5 and I haven’t played yet so idk if it’ll change or do I have to manually change it
Hi! It should automatically change based on the games you play. Also be mindful, not all PS5 games support 120Hz and sometimes you will have to go to game settings to change the refresh rate. I hope that helps!

So I just got this monitor and I was widening if you can explain or have figured out how to change the 60z settings on it? I’m trying it with PS5 and although it says it’s set to 120fps on Fortnite, the monitor itself still says 60fps????? I can’t find a setting anywhere for it. Keep in mind I’m using the side panel controls and do not have it paired with a PC so it makes it harder to navigate the built in monitor settings. Please help!
you need a pc to change the hz it displays, factory is 60fps

How are you supposed to reach the buttons on the left hand side monitor when you're doing a dual monitor setup? Why don't these engineers think of these things. If my monitors are next to each other, my hand can't go through the middle of them if they are right next to each other. Why don't they keep the buttons on the bottom right, man what a pain.

Will I get 120fps on Xbox series s with this monitor?
I like that these have speakers cause my entertainment center isnt very big and looking for decent monitor with speakers to save space. Sound though is a bit louder than i would have wanted as even on lowest setting its rather loud. Despite hte few nitpicks about it, the monitor has been pretty nice to play my xbox series s and switch on.

I like this monitor but I'm still having color correction issues. I cannot fix my monitor from having a green tint when watching shows in certain scenes (usually brighter scenes) and its quite annoying.
Use windows color correction

hey man i bought an Asus TUF Gaming VG249Q1R few days ago for my daily use and my ps5 but all objects they have some kind of blur or shade or ghost around them when moving around in games pertty much all my ps5 games. same thing happen in pc to when watching movie or picture do u know whats wrong with it?

Does anyone know if the Asus Tuf VG249Q1R do 120hz at 1080p over HDMI
I bought this during Black Friday. But unfortunately it was too small for my eyes. Going from a 40” to a 23” was not ideal. Don’t get me wrong, it was a huge upgrade from my old tv because despite it being smaller, i was gaining 120fps, gameplay was smoother and overall clearer. But I need something a little bigger so I returned it. So if you’re used to a bigger screen, I’d rather pay the extra amount to get a 27” or 32”. Just my opinion.
I’m used to a 18” and I grabbed one of these on Black Friday and it’s huge!
Yea 23" even for 1080p is small you at least want a 27". 32" would be to big for the PPI unless your going 1440p which i feel is a better fit

Does it give 120hz on ps5? Cus i read some people saying that for 120hz on ps5, the monitor should have HDMI2.1 support which I don’t think it does? Just ordered this on amazon for my ps5 and want to know.
This monitor should support 120fps on PS5/Series X (as the monitor should be up to 165hz) at 1080p, however, you do need a HDMI 2.1 Port to play 4k at 120fps.

I got this monitor for my ps5 but god damn the ghosting on this monitor is horrible makes games almost unplayable and VRR doesnt work with the ps5 premium v synce only works with xbox because it supports it

i got this monitor you can play fornite with this on 120hz but you need to use the hdmi that the ps5 came with (hdmi 2.1)

Hi! I'm so sorry about that. It seems like many people are also having this issue. In that case, you'll need to get a 240Hz compatible DP cable to utilize the full capabilities of the monitor. I hope that helps!

is there a difference between 24 in and 27 in?
27 inch is bigger than 24 inch. Also some 27 inch can have 2K resolution while 24 inch can only have 1080p resolution.

@@fruitsnacks1963 yes 24 inch is ideal for 1080p gaming and 27inch makes the display "blurrier", i had to cancel my 27 inch monitor after knowing this information and opt. for a 24 inch monitor. if that helps.

There is no difference except for the display size but I would recommend to go for the 24inch if you value the image quality. With a higher pixel density images will look stunning. I hope that helps!
Dude, this is a VA monitor, NOT an IPS. It's response time is definitely NOT 1 ms GTG (as claimed by ASUS). Multiple reviewers had many ghosting issues without calibration. Just saying...
You cant use freesync premium cuz it supports hdmi2.0 and dp1.2 hdmi 1.4 is worthless for ps5

This is NOT an IPS panel. It's a VA panel with some of the worst pixel response times I've ever seen if you don't enable ELMB.

Hi! I personally just enabled 120fps for the game I was playing in the game settings and the monitor automatically enabled 120Hz. I hope that helps!
