Imagine the scenario. Skyrim is in apocalypse and the only survivors except the few who are alive in Skyrim are your companions and kids and this isle is your base and home. The only truly safe place in all this mess.
You can actually live out this scenario. There’s some zombie apocalypse mods that make every killed enemy or ally into a zombie. The more people die over time, the more zombies will roam the world. But here’s a warning: it is absolutely terrifying. Gloomy Skyrim, quiet, cloudy, populated by nothing but the dead. I have a game like that, and I’m surviving with Lydia, Serana, Inigo, Lucien, Auri, and other followers in Whiterun, the last safe city. Everyone there is still alive. Don’t even ask how it got to this point lol. This place was my first home in Skyrim and Balgruuf was the first Jarl who welcomed me, so I’m glad this place survived!
Sold! I have quite a few custom followers and race specific ones. I think the Argonians would love to live on an island. I'll bring in a few of my Khajiits so the general goods vendor won't feel so lonely. Totally bringing all my kids here. The linked storage is really nice too.
Compass Navigation Overhaul: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/74484 You'll need Infinity UI and Sky UI, and you'll probably want to tweak the ini preferences a little, but that's what gives you the compass with the distances away from the icons. Once I installed it, I haven't changed it because I like it so well.
Yes. The castle has room for your wife, 6 kids, and one follower, and the rest of your followers can live in that village outside of the castle. As normal, you'll want to cast the "Bless this Home" spell inside of the castle in order for the home to be recognized by the Hearthfire Multiple Adoption mod. Hope this helps!
To get them there, they have to be in the cabin of the boat (or they won't travel with you). Then, retrieve them and use My Home Is Your Home or a comparable mod in the home you want them to stay.
can modded followers stay here ? my main followers will stay with me at the legacy of the dragon born home but i want some other modded and my favourite vanilla ones to stay here
Check out Hjertesten Hall. I have a video of that village, too. For 50k septims, you can own Hjertesten, and you can hire your followers to work for you, like serving as a farmer, blacksmith, guards (8), warriors (8), bar keep, bard, housecarl, steward, and steward's assistant. They each have their own homes, too, and you even have a guest house and can invite guests to stay at your home. You can also upgrade the property, too. I bet you'd like that one a lot!
@@SkyrimPlus thank you sm only issue now is i heard some mods break modded followers for example inigo will have to stay at the dragonborn legacy museum any mod that allows me to do this with my followers will stay at the villege or museum i just love the idea of actually building my own community
Yes. You have to recruit them from the game and take them with you on the ship to the island and use My Home is Your Home to settle them at one of the homes. I didn't recruit a bunch before making the video because I just wanted to show the space, but it can feel busier after you recruit them to live there!

In this scenario, it's nice to have animals, crops, and a ship!

You're boosting their quality of life by providing them with their own home on your private island! Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice review.
Thank you! And thanks for subscribing too!
What's the compass mod that's being used?

Where do I download the separate gallery? I just see Havran castle?
On the mod page, in the files section, it's under the miscellaneous section!
Yeah I saw that but they were pdf files so I got confused. I'll take a look.
Wow! I need this
It reminded me of Hjertesten Hall on a larger scale.
So followers wife and kids can all be moved here or no?

How do you not have a hundred thousand subs?
Thank you for the compliment! And thank you for your subscription! I just hit my month anniversary on TH-cam today (I think)! 😆
