Remember that if you're trying to get six kids to move in, you need the Hearthfire Multiple Adoption mod, and cast "Bless This Home" in specifically the Main Hall (that you access from the portal, not the living room in the open world space). ElfieMyrtle said she added some weapons chests. Thanks for watching!
Do it! I'd love to have more creative homes and environments to explore! If you start now, you may be able to get really good before Elder Scrolls 6 is released, and then you'd get a large audience of players new to the franchise.
Breathtaking. The amount of details and new assets is astounding. I cannot begin to imagine the sheer number of hours and labor of love for this. The floors alone. Wow. Great find. Great showcase. Top notches!
She sent me screenshots of it in early development, and I was already hooked. She spent a lot of time getting this one ready, especially in the final hours. And yes, those textures are amazing! I can't decide if I like the floors or the arcane enchanter the best. Thanks for the compliment!
Once you’re on that train, you’re on that train for life. I think that she has other shacks though from what I see. I’m hoping someone puts one of those into a wabbajack mod pack one of these days (or if they have I’ve missed it).
@bpbqueen Yes, you're right. Every time I play, I'm ready to go on the 10 septim tour. 😆 It's hard to beat the safehouse, having the Dev Aveza, freeing the museum of the spirits, retrieving the stolen artifacts, etc.
Thank you! Your positive comments fuel me to keep going! And I feel you on the SSD. I made the mistake of sticking modded Skyrim on my SSD that only had 512 gb on my old computer. On my new PC, I bought a 4tb m.2 SSD for all of the mods and video files. lol
Going to go install it right now. That is like perfection. Fantastic video too. I think about getting all the followers together and situated and then the kids. Well done.
That's exactly what I did. I used Live Another Life to start at the inn in Falkreath to recruit Lucien right away and then go from there. Thanks for the compliment! ElfieMyrtle makes fantastic homes! I'm trying to convince her to building one of her cool homes in Bruma, especially near that location where Waterview is... Can you imagine that?
Yes, it does! Welcome back, friend! I remember that you were one of my first comments ever on my channel! You really encouraged me with your comment on my less-than-polished video, and I appreciated it!
Your map for where this place is, was... Interesting. Normally you show us a map with the North being at the top. But today, you went with East being at the top. _Which was different!_ As for the property. It's quite stunning. If a little rambling for my liking.
Another commentor criticized my map textures in a recent video, so I switched to Flat Map Framework, which I was having trouble showing a good position from a Northern view, since it isn't like a 3d map, where you can get a better aerial view. I did show 5 different surrounding spots to make it clear and showed a world space view, so it shows its position relative to surrounding areas. It also has a fast travel map marker enabled from the start of your game, so it should be pretty easy to find and travel to. In other news, I've already switched back to my other map. :)
What a tour-de-force? What features does this home not have? The views are spectacular, and I like the follower quarters. The home is way too big for my tastes, but it is exceptional!
@EverydayMick It really is a special home with unique features and great views. While it's big, it's actually really easy to navigate and doesn't feel overwhelming. When you first download it, you'll definitely want to make a few trips around to get the lay of the land, but I've been in it for about a week, and you can get anywhere in the home fairly quickly. Glad you liked it!
😆 I didn't make that connection until now, but that's awesome! Love The Simpsons! I covered her first home mod the day after she made it, and I wanted to give her a shout out for giving the community so many quality home mods this year. She just started modding Skyrim this year, and she gave us 7 homes! My favorite three of her mods are this one, Scholar's Retreat, and Yaholi, although they all have their share of strengths.
Yes... Like the arrow-crafting system and the summer/winter system she made for Yaholi, where you can change out walls to open and closed walls to a window wall. Super cool stuff!
Thanks for the video and thanks to Elfiemyrtle3 for providing a new home on my next playthrough. The garden with the flowers and the space for many followers and children is exactly what I need. btw 9:22 looks kinda like a Van Gogh painting.
Two things... First, too bad she couldnt build this in its own world space away from the Forsworn. Second, how fantastic would it have been to be able to recruit your followers as wizards who came to train and use the place as their residence, with hiring Tolfdir as the Director, but only after the Main quest for the College has finished? In its own world soace that could have been a unique opportunity, something that hasnt been done before, but I digress.. Im still waiting on the perfect home mod in its own little world space with recruitment in mind, something like Hjertesten, but more depth, not just placing followers as warriors and sleeping in one bunk house like a one size fits all.. But not to knock this mod, its a fantastic mod, gorgeous even, but still doesnt fit what Im looking for in a player home.. I only wish I had the ability to mod, but sadly I dont.. Maybe one day the ultimate mod will come on line, maybe one day.
ElfieMyrtle won't make a mod like that in a separate world space. I speak with her about home mods fairly often, and she says she doesn't like homes in their own world space, because it feels too disconnected. On a separate note, did you see the new mage guild mod that came out earlier this week? Looks interesting...Maybe a little like what you're looking for, although not in it's own world space. There's also the City of Bromjunaar mod, that builds a whole city at Labyrinthian once the mage questline is done. Have you seen Havran Castle? That's in it's own world space, and they have little houses for your followers to live in. I'm with you on not being able to figure out the creation kit on my own.
I can assure you that as long as you don't shoot fireballs down to the right (Broken Tower Redoubt) or over the hill past Sundered Towers, you will not aggro any Forsworn. I admit that when I first noticed how close Broken Tower Redoubt is, I very nearly ditched the project as I had similar worries. But they turned out to be unfounded. No Forsworn has set foot anywhere near, in the four months I've been building it. Remember, Sundered Towers is only used by the player, and Broken Tower Redoubt has neither sight of nor access to the home. As to the "own worldspace" thing, SkyrimPlus has already answered that question. I do like the idea of a mage school place though. Beyond me to script, I'm afraid. I'm just a builder.
Yes. I tried it from a north-facing view, but I couldn't get a good angle with a Flat Map mod I was using, so I just did it from the other way. I figured it would be easy enough to find, showing all of the other markers around it and showing it from a world space view. Someone in a previous video criticized my map mod, so I tried to switch. lol I'm going back to my old one for the future. Not a fan of flatmap framework.
This home mod is totally amazing. I love it. I also love the way you do your videos, I've been meaning to tell you that for awhile. You cover everything in such an orderly, logical way so I'm never confused or lost, and you never miss anything. I also love the way you fill all the soils, and fill the display rooms so you know how it's going to look!! It really makes my day when I see you've downloaded a video.
@janmccraw5208 That's so thoughtful of you to say! I do try my best to present in an orderly fashion. I figure that the mod author toiled for an inordinate amount of time making sure their house mods are perfect for us, so I want to show them in the best light I can. ElfieMyrtle spent months on this mod, and she deserves a lot of praise for her work. It's a great Christmas present for the Skyrim community. Thanks for watching my videos, and I'll make sure to keep the videos coming!

Really nice
@@seekthtruth It really is!
This is an impressive home. The attention to detail is incredible!

As an environment artist I wanna learn how to mod skyrim so bad, I feel there needs to be more stuff like this. It's beautiful!

Wow never fails to impress but I think this may be my favorite home she's made.
This is my favorite home she's made. I could debate between Scholar's Retreat and Yaholi for 2nd.
I like it a lot. I would have this as my main home if I ever did a play through without Legacy of the Dragonborn.
It's awfully hard to get off that LOTD train once you start it, but you could have this as your vacation home away from the city...
@ I prefer small cottages or shacks for getaway homes. Having two homes with LOTD style storage is not my thing. Still an amazing home.
@@shaunthom That makes sense!

Another great showcase video. You're killing it. And you're killing my SSD storage space ^.^ wouldn't have it any other way! Thanks for this (again)!

SIMPLY AMAZING!!
@@dovahkiinathay3421 Coming from one of the best, that's a strong endorsement!
@@SkyrimPlus Thank you Jim!! :D
This is my type of home. Home with a view. 99% of house mods are claustrophobic, no view and all look the same.
This breaks the mold of the typical house mod! If you like this home, I'd suggest checking out Yaholi and Scholar's Retreat.
Starfailed is dead. Skyrim lives forever.

Shame it’s not on Xbox but a great home absolutely stunning.
Someone ported her Scholar's Retreat home to Xbox, so maybe someone will ask for her permission and port this one, too. 🤔
Was that a nod to simpsons and troy McClure? If it was, well done!

😮 beautiful tho a bit out of the way. At least it likely won’t conflict
Exactly. I think it only conflicts with Solstice Castle.
is the map facing south? i'm trying to fathom why markarth is on the right of the map and morthal on the left when it's usually vice versa.
