If i keep watching your videos, I'll end up having to rp as a skyrim landlord, its unfair that xbox can only have so many mods. I really like the content of your channel btw. Keep up the good work.
Wow! This is impressive - a ship, a village, and a castle home! I love that the ship travels. The ship interior is nicely decorated and retains a ship-like vibe. The village is awesome! I imagine it becomes very lively with a large number followers living there. The castle is gorgeous! The furnishings and decorations are beautifully done. I especially love the library area. Outside, I love the greenhouse and garden areas. This mod definitely provides an ideal setting for those who collect multiple followers. Thank you for showing us this awesome mod!
This is gorgeous! I can't even imagine the time and effort put into this. Just one of these would be impressive, but they give us a ship, castle, and village! And your narration is wonderful and relaxing!
Lake Haven had been my "family home" for so many playthroughs. All my children, spouse, and best followers would end up there in that idyllic setting. I saw this mod and knew it was time for an upgrade. Of course it's another great home mod from Cynndal. She's really done such a great job here. I wouldn't trust my Skyrim family anywhere else. Now my family can be safe from the war and all the things that like to creep out of the forest. Also, the linked storage. *chef's kiss*
I have been looking for a house mod to install in Skyrim for my new PC. Searching the mod installers was pretty useless, so I am glad I found your channel again. This is exactly what I was looking for, just that I was looking for it to be in Falkreath or Whiterun. The ship and linked storage more than make up for that. Thank you for finding this for me.
Long comment: Get coffee, update your will. Skyrim was my first and only Elder Scrolls game. Played it with my young teen son. It was our thing. Whereas he preferred carpetbagger's existence as a character, carrying his entire existence easily within his weight limitations, I preferred to have a place to stash all my stuff. And by all my stuff, I meant with everyone else's former stuff. Which was, as I recall, "One of everything in Skyrim, at least." So he was thrilled with an unoccupied cabin, and beelining through some dogmatic quests, I kept every house in Skyrim we could get. In the end, he learned a lot about inventory management, and I learned a lot about traveling light, and risking being caught out without a needed thing. But once we had 'beaten' the game, I still found enormous pleasure in the private homes, as you do, and was for over a year quite content playing manly house about the Hearthfire places. I'm an old-school roleplayer, and I try to maintain immersion, even where I'm carrying much of the load, so I played Skyrim for a year as the retired [insert every lofty title here], building his estates and raising a family, whilst hoarding followers and staff. I often wanted a proper Steward. Don't get me wrong; Lydia is legendary. But she never got the option to do as a Steward does--- manage the help. They weren't available. The housecarls were uniformly drab, but reliable, and I did enjoy what was offered in the DLC --- but it always hinted how much more it needed. But we couldn't mod the X-Box 360, and I just don't have another playthrough in me. Not once more will I endure the 30minute opening. Thank goodness for you. You take me on (generally) like-minded tours of places (and palaces) I would have acquired and enjoyed. I mean, I'd acquire them ALL, if it were possible, and just not use 98% of them. But Miss Darkstar, you have become my Real Estate agent of places well within my 2%. Places I would move all my stuff into, and arrange for the largest family and entourage I could manage. You find the great ones. This is one. It appeals to the seaman (although that deck looks like it's ABOUT to be painted, but certainly not equipped for a sea voyage. No gear, no crew... the modder might consider offering a chance to decorate the ship, and crew it. Lots of opportunities to perfect an already flawless mod. A bell (how do any of the ships operate in weather without a bell?), a timekeeper, sextant, etc And as we can select custom tapestries, so it should be with the sails, and perhaps a customizable signal flag. I realize it's basically the equivalent of the carriages outside the DLC homes, but those at least have a driver... And then you get a whole island. The modder planned well. The open-fire lighthouse is a WISE touch. It's immersive to pretend that ships at sea or your own are at risk with collisions, and in absolute dark and fog, while you're magic-scuba-diving in the neighboring waters, an identifiable landmark would be welcome. If it could use a furnishings upgrade, I would hope the modder would consider adding ballistae, a catapult, or even a trebuchet on the top platform --- or perhaps add an observatory dome. The conical atoll of the castle mount is subliminally troubling, but--- I rather like the epilogue. "And the Dragonborn, Nine-Thane, Arch Mage, brother to Parthumax, did retire in splendor and peace, nesting in the heart of a volcano." Yup. SUATMM. The island looks properly class-divided as well, with the village at the bottleneck of any small tsunamis that follow. The castle exterior is brilliant. It's what I would call a proper castle, a true fortress, laid out sensibly. You could become a really rich and unassailable pirate here. Yes, I own a village. I'd love to have been able to say that. A much less flawed leader and protector than those on the mainland, or die trying. Every merchant, and even spouses, eventually just become menus, not people, but I'd enjoy a place on earth that had no recollection of where my initial wealth was obtained, or how. I didn't catch if any of them deal in stolen goods. That would be a great addition for a pirate RPer. As a whole, the village architecture and layout is unique (and easy traveled), whilst you can still see familiar architectural practices, this style is clearly its own cultural offshoot --- a very nice touch. Some mods are just scattergun hybrids of established cultural architecture in dubious or unappealing ways. I also see no reason to charge the player much from the merchants, as his ship provides an export/import venue, and that is worth a Dragonborn Discount Day. Because---- where did you get the bear pelt, lady? They don't grow here. There are sub-plots intimated through every merchant's inventory. Incidentally, the blacksmith has confided in me that he prefers the term "soot-faced". (I actually applaud this as a nice touch.) The castle. I will say this--- Skyrim and Hollywood have some allergic reaction to using the easiest defense of a castle, which is a ditch, at the very least. At your direction, I'm sure it would be a lovely floral ditch with throw pillows at the bottom, but I'm willing to compromise. This place HAS a really big moat --- but invaders tend to invade... Yes, I think about such things. If there are upgrades, that would be interesting. The whole place SCREAMS for more life. As presented, the castle is just structure, not home. LOVED this mod.
I knew you would love this when I saw it on the Nexus yesterday. I haven't downloaded it as yet because another mod caused me to have to restart a new game, but I did find the image gallery to be impressive. Now having seen your video, I will be including this in my modlist. Your videos have been a heavy influence on my modlist (I never play without our favourite Blue Cat). just noticed there is a Facegen Fix file now on the mod page for the Blackface issue.
It is gorgeous. That being said I am so comfortable with Riverside Lodge - skyrimSE nexus 9567, that I am content to stay with that house. If I was rich and was not already in love with that mod, I would probably try this one though. Thanks for sharing! (Note: Riverside Lodge is much smaller and has no village, though it is nestled in between Riverwood and Whiterun. It is just so functional with everything nearby, plenty of storage, although it could be argued that it could use more mannequins.)
If there isn't a home/personal settlement at least a little like this in ES6, I will be very sad. I'm usually pretty scared of the too much water, so the ship part won't be for me, but this is such a good idea to have a personal ship and your own little island for people not me. I'd hate to see people not get that kind of fun when we will likely have that capacity straight at launch.
My beef in open world games like this is exactly this the building the home base is never as awesome as it could be. You can't build a merchant empire. You can't hire helpers to gather materials. If you say a game is open world then make it open world.
Great showcase as always. Personally I wouldn't download it purely because I like a little more mythical fantasticism in my homes. Like Northstar retreat or Dorn Heven. That being said Leaf Rest at Riverwood is still my go to home. Because it has everything you need. I only wish it had displays for collectables.
@FebrithDarkstar if I may ask Feb, What would be your highest recommendation for a magically mystical house? Totally understand if you don't have time to reply 🖖
@FebrithDarkstar I've seen that one before. It's an excellent choice thank-you. You're opinion and insight help a lot when there's so many to choose from. Thank you for taking the time to get back to me. Take care, thanks for the hours of entertaining videos. Awesome work Feb. ✌️🖖🤘👍

minor clipping with the ship that anna has in that spot. moving the ship that comes with this mod over and have another gangway connecting the two ships or having a new dock there and just put the buy me at the sh ip's doorway....
Soooo.. what is going on with the blackface? As an american i am rather uncomfortable with this mod because of it. Am i perhaps missing something? Otherwise its such a gorgeous island
