Hey! I’ve been messing around with my settings and I’ve found out about how you can optimize leaning in siege eliminating accidentally meleeing because you pressed the right lean button too fast. You can add a 50ms delay to your ads delay. It doesn’t affect the speed in which you ads, and 50ms is way too fast to get any disadvantage out of. Just my tip for any of you guys! Have fun!

Thank you for helping us out, especially with the black ops 4 beta and the battlefield V as well. Have you had any issues before with binding your secondary buttons? I programed a set of secondary buttons, activated them, but the primary button still works. So I have both buttons working at the same time. I'm wondering what I did wrong? It's weird!
Hey, sorry for the late reply but my youtube notifications for comments dont seem to work anymore. The xim primary and secondary button bindings both work at the same time. If you want a different button layout in certain scenarios then create a new AUXILIARY config, pick an activation key and method of your choice, and then untick the inherit button bindings box. After that you can bind any button within this AUXILIARY config again, and whenever you activate this sub config only the button bindings within this config work (and not your regular HIP config button bindings).

Usually only through the PC or Mac, the XIM has no functionality to check the DPI value.

Hey, just bind those two keys to the corresponding action with which you lean in the console version of RB6, which is sprint and melee :). Also yesterday i uploaded a new RB6 config guide ;).

@@Jakob_FPS You can solve that via the secondary bindings, so you can double bind that action. Alternatively use independent button bindings in the ADS mode :).
I put it on aim 115 and ads 75. Much more responsive
Is there some glitch with xim apex?. If I try most of youtubers settings my character barely move. All firmware up to date, dpi set correctly. If they use 13sensitivity I have to use 100 or more. Mouse logitech g502. In game settings are correct too.
Hey, there are three things that you need to check:
1) if your synchronization is the same, if for example that youtuber uses sync common but you use sync default or even off then your sensitivity will be a lot higher, for example sync off sens 100 is about the same speed as sync common sens 20.
2) your dpi is the same, now with the G502 you have to tick the onboard memory box in the opening screen of the Logitech Gaming Driver in the top right so your changes carry over to the XIM (else they are only active on the PC)
3) my settings above are around 40-45cm per 360° on the mousepad so pretty low, if you are a wrist aimer but most youtubers are arm aimers than that can also be a reason.
I like the right stick deadzone to be 9. So that it’s easier to control recoils
When I move my mouse in r6 it doesn’t move my character and the xim just turns on and off
This might be a powerdraw issue, your xim shuts down if your devices draw too much power from the console usb port. Try it without the keyboard connected to the xim and charge the controller for a few hours by directly connecting it to the running console. Does that setup work?

This is up to you, you can do it via phone (android or ios) or via the pc. Just download the xim manager form the android/ios store or the pc xim manager from the xim forum.

Did you check if your keyboard with compatible? Theres a compatibility list in the xim forum. Also check if your xim manager shows the keyboard icon in the icon bar at the top.

Probably a controller problem, cable issue or wrong console setting. Check if the controller is recognized by the XIM.

If your xim doesnt recognize any of your devices then please open a support ticket on the xim website so an engineer can look into it.
my mouse runs on 1000hz report rate should i still use 500hz on the xim
It depends on how well your mouse can run the 1000hz signal. Do one of the 3 polling rate benchmarks from my best polling rate for XIM tutorial, it takes around 1-2 minutes and you will know what the best polling rate is :).

If the XIM doesnt register your key presses then it has a problem with your keyboard. Check if its listed on the non-compatible list or of it suffers from a powerdraw issue.
I’m Saving up for a XIM apex as I’m tired of playing siege with controllers due to how horrendous it can be,such as trying to aim n then it knifes Instead but I’ve come from a PlayStation background my whole life so I’m kinda nervous I know it’ll take some time to adjust to mnk ....my question is ...is this product hard to setup ? I’m planning on getting a “Corsair k55 with harpoon mouse” for $70 -$80 do you know if this mnk is any good ?
hey, the keyboard is fine but im not sure about the mouse. it should have at least 3000-4000 dpi and an onboard memory so you can get the best mouse movements with your xim. If that mouse has that then you are fine. As for the transition, you are not the first to switch from a controller to a mouse and keyboard :). Based on feedback it usually took them around a week or two to get used to mouse and keyboard and then another few weeks (or month) to fully master it, which of course depends on how much you play and your experience with a mouse and so on. You can also use a sony navigation controller or a logitech g13 with the xim instead of a keyboard, thats what a lot of ximmers do with a controller background.

For the best mouse movements you want to use at least 3000 dpi, so id say try your dell mouse first and then you can tell if the mouse movements are good enough or not. The dell mouse might not run 1000hz but on a lower frequency, so make sure to use the same one with your xim then.
How do u change xim config from 4.10 to 4.9
You must downgrade your XIM ST. See the beginning of my "Competitive Apex Legends Config" video on how to do that, or one of the other videos in which i have covered that! :)

Hi for 3200 mouse dpi and hip :50 sens ads: 25 sens should i which synchronization default or common?
This is roughly a mid level sensitivity so you can go with both. Make the following quick test to find out which one works better: Make very small mouse movements and check how well your mouse movements are picked up by the game. If there is a minor stutter with default sync then go with common instead. If there is no stutter then you can stay with default.

Its the game, you cannot instantly lean in RB6 but you usually have to wait a little bit. Its the same with the controller.

Theres a copy and paste function in your xim config when you have the expert mode ticked. That way you can copy your whole settings into a different game config.

Maybe your XIM Firmware is out of date, all of my videos are done with the most recent beta firmware at its time which could still be more recent what you have installed. Check back with the XIM website and compare your firmware to the ones on the website :).

7000 dpi /500 pulling rate(because i use cronusmax and this support 500 pulling rate) hip 160 /steady aim 0.2

Hey, try to find out how much DPI you used with your old mice. Also ask yourself if its maybe the shape and the weight of the G502 that makes it difficult to swipe. The g502 is one of the heavier gaming mice, other gaming mice can be up to one third of the weight of the G502. Alsoa good idea would be to remove your keyboard and connect both mice at the same time to the XIM. That way you can compare them better and adjust your settings.

@@lilx_xmil2280 You need to set your G502 to 100% the same mouse settings as your old one. Then it will feel the same and have the same sensitivity. Did your old mouse have onboard memory? Otherwise it may not have run on 7000 dpi when connected to the XIM.
I sit there clicking the button to put the key behind on the zoom and it does not work and it says listening but the key does not go onto the exam

It works the same way as on your controller, find out which button you have to press on the controller to do that and then check what key or button you bound to that controller action. By the way the barricade button has to be held down, so scroll up or down with the mouse wont work for that as they send a lot of short inputs instead of one long "hold" activation.
XIMGameplay I have it on advance so I need to press two actions, I press LB once then hold down X, is it the same thing you have to do here? My secondary gadget button for LB is G and my button is R so do I have to hold both buttons for me to place down my gadget? Do you think you can make a video in the feature for the gadgets that would be great!
@@ToxiicYT Hey, what do you mean with on advance? I just have to go to a wall that can be reinforced and then hold down the specific button for it. Its worth a try to create a new RB6 config and dont change anything in there. Now try and see if you can reinforce a wall with the default button bindings. This is a great way to find out if maybe a button binding assignment makes it impossible for you to properly reinforce walls.

What do you mean? You can bind any game action to the mouse if thats what you meant :).

Can we get an update on this config for siege with the new features, unless still the new features are not used for this game.
Some of the new features arent that usefull for RB6, but i will do a new RB6 video regardless to clarify those things and make it easier to get your perfect aim accuracy. Plus i thought about adding some anti recoil tips for better weapon recoil control.

XIMGameplay i figured out the problem, so I had updated my Xim to the newest beta firmware and it stopped working but as soon as I reverted it fixed the issue!

You can fully configure your XIM via the phone app, a PC is only required to update your XIM Firmware (if you want to do that ofc).

@@ashik1361 All right, then the first thing you should try is to swap the keyboard usb port with the mouse usb port. Most devices work in both ports but some require their prefered usb port. If that doesnt do the trick then please unplug your keyboard from the xim and let me know if the mouse works then.

You mean your xim doesnt allow you to bind those? As in they are not picked up? Or do you mean general tips for those buttons, such as what to bind to those.

@@ShysteCapone For RB6 i think the leaning keys are best to be bound to the mouse side keys. For scroll up and down you can use stuff like throwing a drone. You cannot hold down scroll up and down so dont bind it do actions that have to be hold down for a certain time (reinforce walls, charge, ...).

So there is only one thing that’s missing for me. Otherwise you make the best Xim Apex videos on all of the internet IMO. So i have a LogitechG903 with Lightspeed 1ms wireless latency. As a result my Xim Apex and my Mouse most naturally play on 1000hz. With 1000hz and Synchronization Off and a DPI of 12,000. What is the Siege maximum turnaround speed in terms of the Xim Apex Sensitivity Numbers. I need to know the maximum coded turnaround number for siege with ALL of that in mind. Reason being i am working on making my own custom Ballistic Curve for the 1.20 X/Y ADS ratio you recommended. I’m on a path to perfect aim and i’m so close yet so far away. I’ll talk about you like a living legend for the rest of my Siege days if you could reply! 😃 Thank You So Much for everything your videos have already taught me!
This can only be measured by yourself, the reason is that except for polling all of the things you mentioned play into it. DPI, Sync and XIM Sensitivity. Your ballistic curve graph does not have fixed values on its axes, they are based on these three boundaries. Say you only adjust your XIM Sensitivity, with a value of 10 you will have a very slow turnspeed. You will have to move your mouse very fast to hit the maximum turnspeed of the game, indicated by the red blinking lights on your XIM. With a value of 200 you will have a very fast turnspeed. when you move your mouse at moderate speed you will already move with the maximum turnspeed of the game. Now the x axis of your ballistic curve represents your mouse movement speed on the mousepad, the left axis point 0 equals no movement on the mousepad while the value on the very right side is the mouse speed at which you will move with the maximum turnspeed. As i wrote above your XIM Sensitivity decides by how fast you can move your mouse on the mousepad until you see the red blinking, with high sense the right side of the ballistic curve represents mid mouse movements while on low sense the right side of the x axis represents fast mouse movements. This is why you should also copy the sensitivity of a player when you want to use his/her ballistic curve, as you will basically distort the effect of the ballistic curve when you play with a sensitivity that is different to the one this curve has been created with. Now while there would still be a mathematical way to measure the maximum value even with different XIM Sensitivities, your Sync value will make it a lot harder. The reason is that sync off means your XIM spams its inputs as fast as it can, without taking care of the games framerate or how fast it can process inputs. Since most games dont run on a stable framerate, RB6 included, your perfectly measured values will be influenced by the games framerate. Once the game dips down to 50 fps or so itll feel different to the regular 60fps. This effect will be reduced the lower you set the XIM Synchronization.
Anyway if you still want to give it a try i recommend you to look up the XIM Forum User TSARGA, he wrote a XIM Forum Topic about this not so long ago (like a few month ago) in which he measured the min and max values for different games based on dpi, xim sensitivity and other settings that have an influence on the ballistic curve.

Which method do you want to use? If you go with the one shown in this video then you need to adjust the ingame deadzone as shown in the beginning of the video. Alternatively update your xim and xim manager to the latest beta firmware then you can do everything via the xim manager.

@@huseyinozer81 Thats the old firmware. As i said you have two options for slow walking:
1) use the method shown in this video by adjusting your ingame RB6 settings
2) use the beta firmware, then you dont need to change your ingame settings: community.xim.tech/index.php?topic=76762.0
Pick the method that you prefer, both will work the very same way and allow you to walk very slowly.

Hi. I just finish the setup for R6. My mouse left button seems to fire in manager app but it crouches in game. Same weird result for the RMB.

Check if your controller layout is set to default. If it still occurs after that then check your xim configs button bindings to see if you double bound the left mouse button to fire and crouch.
What was the first Xim apex Config on the PlayStation when released was it 4.5?
The first one is always version one which would be 4.1 then.

@@KvrsaQUIT The letter ahead of the dot refers to the platform, so 4.X means PS4 translator. The letter after the dot is for the version, so 4.3 would be the third smart translator ever released for that game. Each time a new one gets released, the number increases. Every aim mechanic and game has its on counter. So Updated and Classic both started on their version 4.1 when they game out, although they were both completely different STs. They still shared the same number. Updated 4.1 and Classic 4.1.
How can you sprint again?
Check what kind of button you bound to sprinting in your xim config. The melee and sprint button are also used for leaning while you are in the ads mode :).
Good job. PS4 Pro is a stable 60fps. Does this mean that I can not use any synchronization? I play 12K with sing off
The idea is that slow is for 30fps, common for 60fps, default for 120fps and off for anything above that. Usually default and common give the best mouse movements. Sync off is used by players to reduce aim assist by adding more micro stutter, since RB6 doesnt have any aim assist i definitely wouldnt suggest to play on sync off to prevent the micro stutter.
Hey great video but what if you are using the PlayStation Nav joy con and a G502 mouse? Is it the same config?
Yes you would basically just go for different button bindings :).
Whenever I go to bind my keys it never blinds them. All it says is listening whenever I click the key. Any help?

Are your devices connected to the xim? Is it the same with your mouse buttons or can you bind those but not your keyboard keys?
Tristan Nesbitt Plug your controller into the xim as well as your mouse and keyboard, that’s why. If your controller isn’t plugged in it won’t bind the keys.
Koamine i had it plugged in but i switched the cord after awhile and it worked.

XIMGameplay when I first got it today I didn’t know I had to plug the xim hub into the xim and it wouldn’t sign the binds but my friend told me to plug it in and it worked

@@XIMCentral for example I swipe right on the mouse because I see a player in the corner if I do it to fast my mouse makes it so it will jitter in the middle of the screen and it won’t look right at all

It depends on your mouse, in its manual there should be a guide on how to do it.

Hey, check out my most recent RB6 config video, it shows how to walk slowly plus has better settings than this video. A lot has changed in RB6 in the last few years and the new config video takes that into account.

@@Jeremy-it6jm This sounds like a button binding issue within your XIM config, go through your HIP and ADS bindings to see if you maybe double bind certain actions (or search for other button binding conflicts).

Hey, in your XIM Manager click on the options in the top right, the button with the 3 vertical dots. After that click on global settings. In the following menu click the box next to "Enable Expert Configuration". After that hit the save button in the bottom right. Now you should be able to see the advanced options such as smoothing :). Alternatively follow this video on 2:01 onwards.
