Could you do a video on flick shot settings? I feel like I don’t know what are the best features to use to be able to accurately flick shot. Would it be SA, Smoothing, or SAB?
For flick shots its all about the sensitivity and your muscle memory, dont use any of the advanced settings but train your aim to make flick shots. Thats the best and imo only way to consistently hit flickshots.
Would love to see all these new options used for Division 1 and 2. Perhaps they would help bring a more PC like feel.

Does Steady Aim also act like boost in a way? Since with Steady Aim your mouse will no longer go below the number you set it to (other than 0)? Also what if you use a boost value that translates higher than the first number you set your Steady Aim too? Will it just skip it and go to the next multiple?
Hey, steady aim doesnt work like boost as boost basically increases the deadzone in an artificial way. Steady aim only changes which angles are prefered when using your mouse around. So steady aim doesnt increase your sensitivity in any way, it just makes it easier for you to move your mouse horizonal or vertical.
What value would you reccomend for blops 4 default sync? Nice video btw thx
For default sync id go 3-5, if the aim assist is still a problem then id rather add some boost on top of that than increasing the steady aim even more.

@@d1sable I use slow, that way aim assist as strong just as for gamepads and I like it.
@@d1sable The best feature for BO4 is still the simulate analog behavior, although you cannot set it to a very high value as otherwise youll cancel your sprint or have a random ads fire bug after sprinting this feature doesnt degrade your aim accuracy in any way yet reduces the aim assist bubble. On top of SAB you can then add minimal Boost or Steady Aim. That way you will not notice any negative effects yet you got a better aim assist behavior.
@@XIMCentral thanks. I think my issue is probably psychological. I actually love the default sync with no curves or SAB or SA or anything but in the intrest of trying to get 'even better' im open to trying all of these features. Im sure they are very good for others but as soon as i try even SAB at 50 it instantly feels different and i perform sprightly worse so i switch back. Maybe im just very used to my config.

Yes for that it can be usefull, especially when using it together with a higher XYRatio.

For different games you would need to make the 360°/cm ratio trick, games have different mechanics and maximum turnspeeds to a xim sensitivity unification isnt really reliable for every sensitivty.

Only if you want to use the new features, if you dont want to use those then your xim4 is perfectly fine.
What dpi are you using for call of duty?
Usually 3200 DPI for all games including CoD.

For ADS a steady aim of 0-3 is actually quite helpfull, for HIP its not that important.

Sure you can turn off the aim assist, most games dont offer that option though. Also a few games that have this option usually only reduce the aim assist then but dont fully turn it off.

Sure i can take a look at Destiny 2 again, though i dont think any major changes are required compared to my updated D2 video. Usually changes are only needed when the game mechanic changes or a new ST is released. Ill look at it though and if theres room for optimizations ill make a new one! :)

@@LilZayDaddy Boost will work against smoothing and also reduce the aim assist, so i wouldnt use any boost unless you want to reduce the aim assist for example :).

I think i added that already to my to-do list! :) Here is a quick setup instruction: Connect the regular console controller to port 3 of your xim hub. Connect the second controller you want to play with to port 1 of your xim hub. Pick the Cross Controller Config from the XIM Config list. Bind your controller buttons in that config. For aim assist
@@joesanchez2120 Oh with a controller you already have the maximum amount of aim assist, theres no way to further increase it beyond 100%. Features like steady aim only work for your mouse right now, but not for the controller.

@@mx6081 You have to do it in your phone settings (google your phone model). The xim manager doesnt have any virus, but please do not download apks from other websites! Allow it for the xim manager and then revert the apk setting!

Only very few games allow you to deactivate the aim assist, therefore options like steady aim help to better deal with the aim assist in those games.

How to reduce recoil for Destiny 2 would be very helpful. The climb is brutal on ps4 using mouse.
Try a different xy ratio in the meantime it can make recoil control easier

So if steady aim is used to help you enter and exit the aim assist bubble then how does it increase aim assist without also degrading it?
Steasy aim doesnt increase the aim assist, if anything it will reduce it. At moderate values steady aim will do nothing to the aim assist except for changing the force you need to enter or to leave the bubble. Higher values will start to also reduce the aim assist.

It looks like this is not very useful for Blackout and PUBG as maps of those have very big variations of landscape.

@@slapigr I just said that Blackout and PUBG maps have too many vertical levels and steady aim won't help you much with it. That's my opinion. You can play PUBG with current firmware no problem.

The xim doesnt have that but you can use a rapid fire if your mouse or keyboard offers that.
Maybe not with all games, but on Fortnite this 100% made me less accurate. It felt too jittery and took away from true movement

Yes your manager needs to be on 5.00.20181109 as well. Here you have the download link for the manager: Click on the android or ios link with your phone browser or else it might not work. Hey, what would like like to see in reagrds to teabag and crouch peek shots? How to do setup those the best in your xim config? The three new features are all aim assist features, RB6 doesnt have aim assist so they arent really helpfull or usefull in that game.

it depends on your synchronization, go with something between 3 and 5. Also consider to add boost if the aim assist bubble is still a problem :).

@@Sohikun Yes it does affect it, but with most XIM values the benefits might outweigt the disadvantages. Id say try it out or at least a few games before switching back, that way you can tell the best if its a feature you like, and if the value is good or not :).
I managed to suss out how to install apk file onto my Samsung note 9 and still not showing these features yet says in the about menu I have the correct updates so I'm stumped
What firmware numbers doe it show in the about menu in your xim manager for xim and xim manager? If it shows 20181109 for both, did you activate the expert mode?

Hey, for BF4 you can actually deactivate the ingame aim assist which will only reduce it but not fully deactivate it. This is probably the best way to do that. If you dont want to do that then try a value of 3-5 and maybe switch to sync off as well.
So this decreases aim assist? But gives a better aiming experience
It helps with the aim assist bubble issue. That is like a barrier around the target that makes it difficult to break into/out of. Steady aim helps with that. So it doesnt really increase or decrease the aim assist, but instead changes how the aim assist behaves around and on the target.
So what's the best steady aim rate for call of duty warzone on common synchronization??
Imo anything beyond 3,0 will feel off and wrong in Warzone :).

Imo the best settings are sync default, 500 or 1000hz on the mouse and the xim, no ballistic curve but a bit of boost. Around 300-500 boost will make the game feel a lot better. Any other adjustments are not necessary, just bind your buttons and adjust your xim sensitivity. I would like to add the Steady aim ...Whats a good setting for fortnite if I use Common sync,
With common sync and Fortnite id go maybe 2-3 but not higher, Fortnite benefits much more from using Simulate Analog Behavior instead of Steady Aim. A value of around 100 works really well with the game (+/- 25).
Most of us want to know how we can reduce the recoil if it possible, many weapons in Bo4 other other games have a high recoil

Downloaded and installed firmware update to xim apex went to global settings and expert mode did every you said to do but speedy aim ,boost none of it is there. Help
Hey, when you go into your xim managers options in the top right and then on info/about, does it show the firmware "20181204" for both the xim and the xim manager? If not then you have to update the one that shows a different firmware with the links from here: community.xim.tech/index.php?topic=73173.0

It says I'm currently running on the latest firmware but I still don't see the new steady aim feature. I have expert configuration checked. Am I missing something here?
Ok so apparently You have to Install TestFlight then Download the app from there if you're running IOS....
And to make things worse, you need to redeem an invitation code to use the app. A code that I never received and don't even know how to get. How convenient.
@@shoface1798 Yeah Apple loves to make things complicated for Testflight users. Please use your iOS device and browse the following xim forum link: community.xim.tech/index.php?topic=72146.0 After that click the iOS invitation link in your safari browser, that way it should work. People reported that it doesnt work if you click the link with a non-iOS device. Also apple will send you the code to your apple id mail within up to 1-4 days i think, it can take a while.
So my brother, just thought I would give a new Fortnite season update. So after some still unknown reason, my base setting changed, my entire load out was "kaput." So I did try your suggested settings, and while I definitely see the advantages, wasn't for me. So back I went, step by step to get my settings in order. Again, I work full time with only sundays off so not nearly the gaming time I wish I could.
But happy to say after the painstaking readjustment, I'M BACK BABY!

I would share my load out but I'm being completely earnest when I say I would be doing you an injustice. The only reason I have found success with my limited gameplay time is that I took it step by step, following this wise Sage's wisdom he so kindly bestowed upon us to completely customize my Loadout to my dexterity and reaction time. Take the time to fine tune; and it will take time, couple of hours really. And you to can earn yourself the new Snowman umbrella. Thanks again brother for the time you take to make these vids. if you asked me to I'd be more than happy to share my loadout. But taking the time to make your controls customized for your personal play style is the whole reason to own Xim Apex and watch these marvelous vids to know each step it takes. Wow thanks for the feedback and congrats to the victory plus your new config! Having a config that you feel comfortable with makes such a big difference, im sure a lot more victory royales will follow haha! Im taking a short break from Fortnite though, the planes, the sword and the turret arent my thing lol. Pretty sure those will be removed very soon.

Hi, I tried updating the Xim Apex Manager, and it does not seem to be downloading.
Hey, if you want to use the features from this firmware then you need to manually update your xim manager via the link shown here: community.xim.tech/index.php?topic=72146.0 for iOS you do it via the apple testflight app, for android just download the apk manually and install it. If it doesnt download then hold down the link as if you would try to mark it or open it as a new tab. You should then get a popup with download/install. Also please update your xim too, both xim and xim manager have to be updated.

@@refusiblee Since its meant to give a better aim assist behavior its tough to say what the best value is since everyone prefers a different amount of aim assist. Id say try 3 significantly different values for 2-3 games to find out which one works the best for you.

@@glepy403 Aim assist is personal preference so there isnt really one best value. Some people are better with aim assist while others do better with less. Try a few different values and see what kind of aim assist feeling suits your playstyle the most :). The video has some recommendations on what values you can start with depending on your XIM settings.

I have a problem please help the problem is when I play any game somtimes the config changes to a another config when it changes my aim feel to fast because the xim apex changed my config to a another config how can I fix it
Check if you assigned hotkeys to your config or a global switch button to cycle through configs. Also check if you maybe press the dpi buttons on your mouse or its profile button to switch to a different mouse profile. Another reason could be sub configurations that you set in your xim config, when you activate those the sensitivity could be increased.
@@XIMCentral thank u very much it worked but my friends mouse is Steelseries Rival 110 and when he connect it to the xim apex the RGB dosent change it stays at one color he tried to download the mouse software and change RGB but it didnt work but I have g502 iand the rgb works fine but my friends rgb is not working
@@The7MooDyGamer The g502 has onboard memory, which means that you can save your mouse changes onto the mouse itself. This will then carry over to the xim as well. If a mouse doesnt have onboard memory then its changes will only work on the PC and it will fall back to a default value when connected to the xim. This could be the case with your friends mouse, he should try and check if theres an option in the mouse driver to save the changes onto the mouse memory (if the mouse has that).
