    The 7 Plus was my first ever iPhone and I loved it. I made the switch from Android simply for the camera and all of the pictures and videos I took at the time with the 7 Plus came out great. Good times!

    I had the 7 Plus from when it came out and till the 11 Pro Max dropped. I use it for beta testing and I still love it. It looks sleek with the matte back and I love we got stereo. Next year I’m getting the iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max as my daily driver, and then my 11 Pro Max will be my beta testing device. But I don’t think I will be able to throw my 7 Plus out because it’s served me so well.

    I’m currently watching this on an iPhone 7 plus, and i can agree and confirm the battery life isn’t really good it does have draining issues, if you buy a brand new it will still be not that good compared to the recent newer iphones, but other than the battery life, i think iPhone 7 plus is really good.

    I used a iphone 7 plus for more than 4 years. I used UAG cases to protect the phone and the phone never had any issues. Well i upgraded to iPhone 13 , 2 days back and all I could say is i do miss 7 plus . The touch ID was a boon during these covid times. And face is is useful only when u don’t have the mask. Secondly It’s rather tedious to use apple pay using face id whereas the touch id on the 7 plus would be over by a click. The reason i had to let go 7 plus was because of camera had to be repaired after the few falls from my hand and my UAG cases broke after taking all the drops and hits. Lastly the battery life wasn’t good even after replacing the old battery with a new iPhone battery which was replaced by the IPhone dealer. Even though the 7 plus is over 5 yesrs old the phones performance is still good even in 2022.

    • @sarinc22
      @sarinc22 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@prabhsaini1 I replaced my battery when battery maximum capacity was at 71%. If ur replacing the battery replace it at the authorised apple service centre. The aftermarket iPhone battery will never last long. I replaced my battery because I wanted to exchange my 7 plus . After replacing 7 plus battery the new battery used to drain fast same like before. I feel this issue is with ios 15 update. I feel if you are planning to keep your phone for a longer time then don’t replace the battery. If u are still using the original battery when u bought the iPhone then don’t replace it. Replace the battery when it starts to affect your phone’s daily performance for eg mobile shutting down while on a call or not able to take pictures using camera are few symptoms of bad battery. If u are able to use your phone with no problems don’t replace it. Even with a new phone battery the battery used to drain very fast. Unless apple finds a solution for the battery drain issue no point in replacing the battery. Replace your battery when the battery of ur phone becomes useless and cannot function properly.

    I've been using my trusty 7 plus since 2016 only replacing it now because the 1x back camera has given up the ghost. Never had any problems with it - the battery is a bit ropey - it needs a few charges here and there during the day - not great but as Tony Soprano says, what are you gonna do - the thing is 6 years old. Screen still bright and good - I've dropped it a couple of times but it has remained intact. It's never been in a case, nor have I used a screen protector. It's been in freshwater pools and in the salty sea in the summers. It's been in my pocket outside in minus 20 in the winters. Graphics-wise, it's always been smooth as a hustings politician, although admittedly I have never played games beyond Wordfeud, which it handled with aplomb. It's never been laggy nor has it ever mysteriously shut down. Calls have always sounded crisp. Bluetooth and WiFi to home speakers and to the TV has always been no problemo. Using the dongle with my old headphones, again no problem. The fingerprint reader has always worked perfectly. The various buttons have all remained solid and safisfyingly clicky.
    I would like to point out though, to any prospective would-be users of this old phone, that despite what this great video asserts and what was previously held to be the case - the iPhone 7 Plus WILL NOT be included in the supported phones for IOS16. Only the 8s and beyond will be able to install the latest and later versions. That fact alone makes it sadly a bit of a non starter for late 2022.
    I can't really think of anything else to say about the phone. I'm rather sorry to see it go, indeed I think I'll keep it in a drawer close at hand from where I might pull it out from time to time and give it a little fondle. Come on, we all do it.

    • @TheHui

      I’ve never really used android and currently have an iPhone 7 Plus. Very good phone and still runs on latest iOS. But planning to get the iPhone 14 this year as I’ve had the iPhone 7 Plus for a while now and it seems to be lagging a slight bit. Maybe a new iPhone model would be better to get right now and you can get newer iPhones now, maybe not the latest ones and still find a good price which will be more worth it for you I think. iPhone 7 Plus came out around 2017 so it’s already 5 years old if you were to get one now. Just doesn’t seem like the best choice. But hey it’s just an opinion of course :).
