I’ve always hated Mertle Edmonds, she treated Lilo so terribly, she calls Lilo mean names, calling her crazy, and the worst thing she said was that Lilo will never be like her mom. Mertle is my most hated character.
@@Koopalingfan why are you defending Mertle ? Plus most kids do bite , Ie Eddy tries to get Jimmy's attention and he bites him and Double D jokes " A starving artist "
What I despise about Mertle the most is that she gets away with everything and the adults, the dancing teacher especially, do not scold/discipline her and Lilo is the one that gets in trouble when Mertle arouses her each time. I’ve even been tempted to write an AU where one OC girl who moves from America to Hawaii with her military father, is at first friendly with Mertle but after seeing how she and the other girls treat Lilo, the new girl stops being friendly to Mertle and becomes Lilo’s friend before Stitch comes along.
I admit this is a recurrent problem with the 'bitch at school' trope, they often tend to exist as such a plot device obstacle for the main character that everyone is written not to get in their way or stop them. I get it's the protagonist's journey to stand up to them, but some examples feel stupidly egrogious, see Diamond Tiara being popular despite being a blatant asshole to everyone in My Little Pony, or George McFly in Back to the Future getting a rollicking from the principal after he straight up saw him getting beaten up. Yeah, life's not fair sometimes, but is ANYONE in real life THAT oblivious?
I never liked Lilo's hula instructor. Yeah he tries to be calm with Lilo but he NEVER addresses Mertle's obvious bullying over Lilo. It's that combined with Mertle's mom being too nice already is how Mertle is able to get away with her actions almost everytime. Not to mention, whenever Lilo retaliates, she's treated as the worst person in the world.
@@carlycarmine3858 Dude it's obvious she is being bullied but he never does anything about it. And I am counting both the movies and the animated series as well. The only thing he is always quick to do is let Nani know whenever Lilo is acting up.
I can forgive Ben for his general craziness. The character he's based on (Ben Gunn) was a maroonee. Imagine being on a planet all that time with nobody to speak to. Think I'd go a bit loopy, wouldn't you?
I still don't hate the Gargoyles, and I don't think they don't deserve the hate they do contribute during the final battle of the movie. But seriously, I actually do like Ben.
Personally, I think having Chicken Little’s mom dead is the most contrived, cliche, lame way of trying to make us sympathize with Buck. Personally, I think they should have made her alive and an actual character. She could have been a great source of comfort for Little, and, she could serve as a foil to Buck, often calling him out for being a shitty father.
I agree, that's seriously the biggest cliche, especially among Disney, and it doesn't work to make him sympathetic because he's such a jerk to his own kid.
The funny thing is, in the alternate version where the title character was a girl, that did happen, the mother was alive and she would call her husband out for how he is towards her, while there Buck does try to apologize and show he does love her.
B.E.N. doesn't belong on here because he's a good and useful sidekick. He's supposed to be like that because Treasure Planet is an adaptation of Treasure Island and he was based on Ben Gunn from the original story. He serves an important purpose to the plot since he used to be Captain Flint's personal navigator. So he knew where Flint stashed his precious Loot of a Thousand Worlds, but Flint ripped out B.E.N.'s memory chip in order to prevent him from revealing the exact location of Flint's massive trove to anyone who does actually manage to stumble upon the fabled titular planet, even long after he dies. If I were you guys, I'd replace B.E.N. with Olaf. That stupid and dumb little talking snowman was not only an annoying and almost-completely pointless sidekick, but he was also designed to be nothing but merchbait unlike B.E.N.
That's right! B.E.N.'s scatterbrained personality is based on Ben Gunn's slight going-madness from being marooned for so long, and he plays a very important part to the plot, meeting Jim, getting him back to the ship, and guiding him to the treasure.
Buck Cluck is pure evil. He clearly doesn't care about his son, puts baseball above everything and pretends he cares at the end so he doesn't get punished
I wouldn't say pure evil not by a long shot. Literally every character in the film is against Chicken Little at one point or another, and he comes through in the end. Plus where do you go wrong with Gary Marshall?
Buck Cluck’s character through the entire movie is actually why some other flawed Disney parents get some forgiveness. Some are overprotective, some don’t take the time to listen to their kids, but most are shown to care about their children and what is best for them even if they are wrong. Name one thing that Buck does in the movie that helps Chicken Little mature for the better. Does he ever protect him? How about encourage him? That’s honestly why I’d roast Buck if given the chance because he constantly tells his son to “lie low or not to get his hopes up”. He makes Mr. Krabs look like a good parent in comparison and no his admitting that he’s a bad father in the end doesn’t redeem him in the slightest. Were there parts in the movie that could have changed this? YES. Here’s some examples. 1.After Chicken Little gets in trouble for pulling the fire alarm, instead of brushing him off Buck could discuss the incident with his son and after finding out about the bullying he could( uh I don’t know🤦♂️)TELL HIM TO STAND UP FOR HIMSELF. 2.When Chicken Little says he wants to join the baseball team, Buck could be ecstatic and take some time off to help him practice. 3.Be a parent and actually communicate with his son instead of brushing him off and defend his child instead of letting the public 💩 on him. Buck Cluck can go burn.
Even Mother Gothel from Tangeled is a better parent figure than him, at least she at least somewhat cared about Rapunzel, even if it was for a selfish reason.
The sad thing is, Mertle could of been an interesting character but she was left as a one note bully character. Like something that could of been done would be going to depth of when and why she started bullying Lilo, we could of gotten more depth of her posse and get to know them as individuals rather than a whole group, we could of gotten more backstory of Mertle’s parents, especially her father. Heck, she could have gotten a redemption arc even Also please do Amphibia Squid Game
@@ThePinkDragon I hate her 2 She's a jerk, her problem is her parents are divorced after they were estranged. That does not excuse her for being jealous and picking on lilo
The issue with Raya and the last dragon in general is that it shoved the lesson of trust down your throat and never actually gives Raya any valid reason to trust anyone. She trusted someone once and it resulted in basically the apocalypse, yet she's treated as in the wrong for not trusting again
@@ferretqueen2908 people argue that Raya trusting Namari at the end paid off and like yeah but only because she wanted to save her own skin. She didn't even try to put the stone back together immediately.
@@tanandalynch9441 agreed, that really doesn't say anything about her morality, it was an action of self-preservation that just happened to be the right choice. Plus, she never apologized despite how much she screwed up, she just got forgiven at the end for basically no reason.
Perhaps unpolpular opinion, but I actually like BEN, there is a reason why he is like that, he was lost in that planet on his own with no memory, is equivalent to have someone lost in an island, by his own, no one to talk, of course it will lose all his marbels, and that wasn't his real personality, as when gets back his memory, so...I can't hate him, and besides he isn't even that much in the movie... Unlike the other characters of this list, that are nearly there the whole movie...
Re: gargoyles. It's Hugo, specifically, that tends to throw the scenes into "mood whiplash" territory. Victor and Laverne actually serve the plot with their personalities, while Hugo tends to be the one to derail the scene. Cut "A Guy Like You," tone down Hugo, and keep the gargoyles completely in Quasimodo's mind, and the problem is fixed.
A few honrable mentions for worst Disney Characters The Prince from Snow White - He merely exists as a plot device though originally he eas suppose to have a much bigger role in the movie but was cut due to time and money. Sunflower from Fantasia - for obvious reasons. Dinky and Boomer from Fox and the Hound - Their unneccessary and almost every scene their in they cause the story to come to a complete stop. Chi Fu from Mulan - He does his job too well as a character we're suppose to hate being extremely sexist and discredits Mulan's heroic actions once its found out she's a woman.
My Picks: Prince Achmed (Aladdin) Aunt Sarah (Lady and the Tramp) Gene (Wreck-It Ralph) BEN (Treasure Planet) Chi-Fu (Mulan) Mertle Edmonds (Lilo & Stitch) Buck Cluck (Chicken Little)
You forgot Vanellope. She spends the whole first movie wanting to race in Sugar Rush meanwhile Ralph is given sh*t for “going Turbo” until he decides to do his job as bad guy the best he can … and what does Vanellope do in the very next movie? She goes Turbo! The main conflict of this movie DIDN’T have to happen because she could just VISIT whenever the arcade was shut down, why was she talking like she had to choose one or the other? Also Slaughter Race was played *online,* so what happens when one of the programmers/gamers notices Vanellope: an obviously NOT-Slaughter Race character and decides to anti-virus her dumb-ass??? I was so excited for Wreck-It Ralph 2 but after watching it … I’m gonna pretend there was only ever one movie (though Felix and Calhoun adopting the other Sugar Rush kid was pretty funny)
But what about Scamp from Lady and the Tramp 2? I never really liked his character due to how selfish and stubborn he is on pursuing his dream as a wild dog and runs away, even refusing his father, Tramp's, wishes to return home, which makes Angel very disgusted with Scamp for his selfish behavior. Fortunately, Scamp learns his lesson once he finally realizes what a terrible mistake he has made after seeing how dangerous it is living in the streets, acknowledging how selfish he has been on choosing to live on to his dreams than being with his family, having realized that his family still loves him (and now having wished that he should have stayed with them). So in the end, Scamp returns home after being rescued by Tramp, apologizing to his father for his selfish and rebellious behavior and for running away, as well as reconciling with Angel, who is adopted later on.
Mertle may not be great in the film, but she has tons of bad moments in the Lilo and Stitch TV show. - She is more than happy with making Lilo and Stitch suffer in many ways. In 'Slugger', she bets all of Lilo's DVDs, only to later claim she doesn't care what happens to them, she just wants Lilo to suffer. - When they all have hula photos in 'Wishiwashi', Mertle says she knows that Lilo's picture is going to look awful because of 'how messed up her family is' or something. - After Victoria joins in 'Swapper', Mertle tells her to stay away from Lilo and constantly calls her a freak. - During 'Yapper', Mertle actively tries to cheat by feeding Stitch coffee, even though she's already won two other events. Another instance of her cheating is in 'Spike' by having Teresa research answers for her instead. This instance is worse however, because prior, Mertle had constantly called Lilo stupid and said she wouldn't be able to win so should just give up. That's all I can think of now, but I do have to say, there can also be fingers pointed at Moses for never doing anything about it. Like come on, dude, really?
@@loonytunescrazy That doesn't make things better, considering that Mertle is antagonistic throughout the entire film, and we don't get a scene of them making up. The only reason she's there is because Gigi said she wanted to join the Ohana. She would not have otherwise.
Snotlout, specially in the third one. Hitting on Hiccup's mom in front of him, while also constantly challenging his authority, seriously At least the other annoying sidekicks are funny. I also kinda like B.E.N. He is not great, but I cant see exactly how is he that bad, and sometimes he sort of works.
I think Murtle should be after Gurgy. Yes they are both unbearable, but at least Gurgy cares, while Murtle would happily shove Lelo, her “friends”, and anyone who isn’t willing to spoil her. Which is a shame Bc she could have had a good friendship with Lelo since they have a lot income and could comfort each other at their lowest point.
Honestly, I think the Gargoyles are a bit overhated. Like, yeah I can't deny that they mess with the tone somewhat, but they aren't THAT annoying - and I even found a few of their jokes to be funny. I also feel like the levity they provide was in fact needed, if only because the movie would be fairly miserable in some spots without it (not knocking the dark/serious bits of the film, but one of the things that make those moments work well is that they're paced throughout the film, not just one after the other. That would get tiring).
I'm sorry, I have to disagree. The gargoyles should not have been in the movie at all. They exist solely to sell toys and as you said, they drag the movie down with tonal inconsistency. I mean, the movie has very deep themes like prejudice, child abuse, religious extremism and genocide, as well as a lot of sexual undertones (main reason why Esmeralda is not a Disney Princess) and Christian allegories. Adding goofy, kiddish elements like the gargoyles to such a dark story contributes nothing to the film, not even humor. Adding the gargoyles into The Hunchback of Notre Dame is like adding Leatherface in a light-hearted movie like Frozen.
I agree…they might get annoying sometimes but their lessons do help and hit hard at times Also this is adapted from an even darker tale meant to save the cathedral…Quazi only served as a character to move the plot along but the original focus was on the church and one chapter is devoted to describing it in detail
@@vetarlittorf1807 They happen to be based on a line in the novel about Quasimodo talking to statues, so they're not as out of place as some people think. You have to remember also that this is Disney's version of the story, so a bit of comic relief was kind of needed to not make the whole movie too sombre.
@@Furienna Except in the book, the statues didn't talk back. As for comic relief, Djali the goat and Clopin provided enough of that without breaking the tone.
@@vetarlittorf1807 It is made kind of vague though in the first movie if the gargoyles are alive outside of Quasimodo's head or not. It is only in the sequel (which was written by other people and may not count depending on who you ask), that the gargoyles ever interact with other characters. Either way, I don’t really mind them even though they're not my favorite Disney sidekicks and even if "A guy like you" is at best just a mediocre filler song. Despite a sudden depiction of dolls being hanged, it is out of place within that movie unless you see it as a sign that Quasimodo was going insane.
The gargoyles werent bad, mainly liked the older one, that one actually gave some words of advice and treated Quasi like an old grandparent would (from my memory, it's been many years) and as for Ben, I liked him a lot. Yeah he doesn't fit it with the world, he's from another time and not all there mentally. At least he had a use in the past, and by the end is finding a new way to go. What does Olaf have going for him?
@@briantyler3474 It really isn’t. Both Genie as a character and the Aladdin movie are widely acclaimed and almost universally loved. The same can’t be said for Raya and the Last Dragon or Sisu. On a critic and audience level, that’s like comparing Lilo & Stitch to The Black Cauldron. And the analysis of Sisu being less liked makes sense honestly. Myrtle’s always been a bully and not much else. We’re supposed to dislike her and she doesn’t get much screen time anyways. A villain or antagonist is usually going to be less annoying than an unlikeable hero or protagonist, because not only is the audience exposed to them less, but its easy to see their role in the story. Whereas if you don’t like the protagonist, it makes it hard to root for them or care about their conflict (internal or external).

Two characters I find particularly grating are Abagail and Amelia Gabble from The Aristocats. They act as more of a distraction to the cats, belittling Thomas O'Malley whilst trying to save Marie, and forcing the four of them to walk like Geese to Paris (don't get me started with their theme music). I wouldn't have blamed Thomas for pouncing on them.
They managed to save Thomas from drowning though, and I don't think that they forced anybody to walk like geese. But indeed, they were stupid to not get that Thomas was in trouble and made it worse for him and were mostly just pointless to the plot of the story.
"It's no wonder fans weren't looking for more of this dragon." While I agree that her design could have been better, I actually DID want more...but not in the sense of a sequel. The movie felt to me very strongly like it should have been an episodic series like Avatar: the Last Airbender (I even got heavy Airbender vibes from The Last Dragon film too). Such a thing would have allowed for much stronger character development and world building, but instead, we got a single movie that skipped over massive chunks of the adventure and only showed the most notable bits and pieces, kind of like trying to summarize an entire journal on a single page. It was fun to watch and fun to think about, but I finished the film feeling like I missed out on some really good stuff in-between scenes, and feeling like the movie was a glaring example of missed potential in the end. Not bad, just...not enough.

What I dislike most about Sisu (The dragon) is that she blindly trusts anyone, even when she was tricked. Many times she was tricked for blindly trusting anyone, she still refused to be wiser and still carried on blindly trusting anyone! She even straight up said to Raya that "maybe they are this way because you do not have enough trust." which has absolutely NOTHING to do with Raya! Also how about you make the "The WORST Disney Villains (And Why They Suck)" video? For me, I HATE the main antagonist from "Big Hero 6" Who's nicknamed "Yokai", because he's a generic cliche evil antagonist who's out for personal eye for an eye, He built a portal that he COULD have used to save his own daughter, but NO, he went through ALL that trouble to suck up some fancy building! There is nothing I HATE more than Personal eye for an eye! This evil annoying cliche had been OVERDONE!
Yeah with mr."that was his mistake", another thing is that he has no other motivation to harm others besides the one guy who hurt his daughter and gets displayed as an obvious red herring and despite them trying to display him as sympathetic this dude straight up killed his favorite student and didn't care despite having no reason to hurt him
Probably best you never do. the animation is good but the message about blindly trusting someone who traumatized you and is overly aggressive and selfish is mortifying.
@@BenDBeast It really isn’t. Now if people were getting on the cases of those who liked her, THAT would be unjustified. However you can’t call someone’s personal opinion unjustified just because you disagree when it’s not morally wrong in any measure. That’d be like me saying people loving her is unjustified.
Another thing I find annoying about Sisu is that the movie treats her like she's right about her "Trusting everyone is the way to go" stance and Raya, who lost everyone she loved because she trusted the wrong people, was wrong. Though I guess that's more of a critique of the movie than her, it does grind my gears seeing Sisu get proven wrong about her stance over and over again, and she learns nothing. If anything she doubles down. She's not mean spirited like Mertle, she's not a terrible person like Buck, but man the "blind trusting" part of her character gets on my nerves.

You forgot Merida. She was pretty much the dumbest Disney “hero” I’ve ever seen. When she’s little, the Wil-o’-the-wisps lead her to a dangerous bear which almost killed her. So, what does she do when she runs away to find herself as a teen? She follows them, of course! Then she finds the house of this witch. She of course goes inside. Then she asks the witch for the most vague request and almost literally takes candy from a stranger. Then gives it to her mom. Then, when she realizes she’s made a mistake she runs away again and decides not to ask anyone for help. You’d think she learned her lesson about the wisps by now, but she follows them, yet again later in the movie. I get that she wanted freedom and independence, but she makes a lot of bad decisions.
But she wouldn't have made those bad decisions if her mother hadn't been so closed-minded. Elinor needed to be turned into a bear, or it would have been impossible for her and Merida to reconcile as weird as that sounds...

Come to think of it, I've thought of another unlikable character from the Aristocats: Napoleon the farm dog. His mistreats his partner Napoleon and often takes his ideas as his own after telling him to "hush his mouth", and at one point hits him pretty hard. If I were Lafayette, I would either abandon him or have him put down!
This is a controversial choice, but my least favorite Disney character is Mabel Pines from Gravity Falls, which is my least favorite Disney animated series. There are many reasons why I hate Gravity Falls, not the least of which is how un-Disney-like the show is despite being a Disney property; it's dark, violent, depressing, and inappropriate for young children, in contrast to so many of Disney's family-friendly movies and TV shows. I respect Kristen Schaal as an actress, but feel she did far too good a job at making Mabel so unlikable. Mabel is an annoying and selfish brat who constantly puts herself ahead of her twin brother Dipper, sacrificing nothing for him despite the fact that he regularly sacrifices everything he loves for her. She was even called out for this and failed to learn her lesson.
Buck’s love his so conditional too and what makes his treatment of Chicken Little worse is that it was all over a little league baseball game, not to mention I doubt he could barely see through the helmet anyway but it still showed how conditional his love is and it makes no sense to get upset over a little league game just because he lost the game
Sisu sounds more like a character that didn't live up to expectations rather than a genuinely bad character. I mean, come on, it's kind of in character for Disney to make a dragon into a Spyro-esque sarcastic cartoony lizard. They already did it with Mushu. From what I know, Sisu is actually considered one of the more likeable parts of the movie.
I like Sisu even if her design not the greatest for a dragon and I guess Buck is a bit like both Jimmy crystal from Sing 2 ( because of his image ) and Frank heffley from Diary of a wimpy kid ( because he doesn’t want his son Embarrassing him at times)
7:02 This is a good point actually. Yeah Sisu is blue, but literally all her other relatives who are also water dragons are designed the same way but with a different color.
I'm sorry, but I like Sisu. I personally never found her annoying when I saw Raya. In fact, I enjoyed her more enjoyable and I just can't hate her. If there's any character from Raya and the Last Dragon, it's definitely Namaari. She's basically the catalyst for this movie. Up near the end, she has hardly shown any sympathetic traits other than wanting to salvage her tribe (at the risk of destroying Raya) and is one of the main causes for one of the most broken lessons in trust, as she has proven time and time again that she isn't trustworthy (and the fact that Raya keeps falling for it started to make the Movie's message preachy as hell). At least Sisu doesn't send unfortunate implications to the movie. Though, we can ALL agree that Buck Cluck is just the worst on every level.
I actually like Raya and the Last Dragon and I want it to be one of the world for Kingdom Hearts IV Sisu and Naamari aren’t bad characters in my opinion, even Naamari felt remorse for her action’s killing Sisu.
I know that there was nothing that Nani, Jumba, or Pleakley could do about Mertle. But it’s just sad that they all inadvertently enable Lilo’s deception further, by not telling her the truth “real friends don’t mistreat others.” The three girls who follow her are also bad, so honestly it amazes me how Lilo doesn’t change schools since her peers wouldn’t even accept her in any way. Besides, when Mertle even disrespects Lilo’s entire Ohana, that’s a bridge too far.
My biggest problem with the gargoyles is that it makes me concerned about Quasimodo’s sanity, which is definitely not what they were going for. But since Qausi is the only one who sees them, does that mean he is psychotic?
No they are definitely living creatures because we see them physically attack the guards and help him defend as they attack notre dame. And the reason no one else sees them is because they only trust him and they are the closest thing to a family he has. Plus they're not the only statues we see that move, so maybe there's something magical about notre dame itself.
You couldn’t say that Quasimodo is insane for having imaginary friends because having imaginary friends in the sort of situation that Quasimodo is raised in would be a coping mechanism to help keep someone sane.
Thoughts on this list: Myrtle I agree Gurgi I have not seen this movie. Maggie Haven’t seen this movie. Hard disagree about Sisu. So I like Jason Alexander’s gargoyle character because you know he can actually sing. The other two however cannot. Haven’t seen this but it is on my list. Haven’t seen this.
I don’t think he learned his lesson at all. Buck cluck never shows that he actually cares about chicken little he just says that “I’m a better dad now!” does he actually show it? No. And at the end when they watch the movie they made of chicken little being a hero, he’s sucking up all the glory that is meant to be for chicken little.
I can agree with the first and last characters of the list(strongly the first), but I don't find any of them around the middle annoying not one bit. I'm just a little surprised about why they made it on THIS list!
Treasure Planet is my favorite Disney movie. I love B.E.N. I agree he is annoying, it's his thing. He's loud, and doesn't always understand what's happening. But he is an important part of the climax, and he is fun
I Like Chicken Little as kid but now as a young adult, I despise Chicken Little because how almost everyone in that movie was so unlikable. Buck Cluck was the worst of them all because didn’t protect Chicken Little from bullying or public humiliation. Buck only cared about himself and his reputation.

11:46 I just knew Buck Cluck was number one. If there was another character that deserves to be on this list, and that I actually hate more than Buck Cluck, it’s Chi-Fu from Mulan.
Gurgi is much better in the books, than in his disney adaption. he's like a gollum type character, but is tolerable because of how well written his character is.
Did you seriously put Victor, Hugo, and Laverne into this list?! I find them more funny than annoying 😠! And just think, I think bringing comic relief to a very dark film was a good idea. That way it's not all gloom and doom.
Sisu is lovely, I really like her! Also, Grugi may be a little difficult to like in the beginning, but that's the POINT of the character, so his sacrifice at the end will have a bigger effect!

Mertle lives to get a rise out of people, basically
I never liked Lilo's hula instructor. Yeah he tries to be calm with Lilo but he NEVER addresses Mertle's obvious bullying over Lilo. It's that combined with Mertle's mom being too nice already is how Mertle is able to get away with her actions almost everytime. Not to mention, whenever Lilo retaliates, she's treated as the worst person in the world.

I totally agree…BEN was a key character in the movie and should have been a surprise reveal but Disney threw the movie under the bus from the start
It’s there Opinion.
@@unclepaul1995 And it's an INVALID one. 🤷♀
I agree
That's right! B.E.N.'s scatterbrained personality is based on Ben Gunn's slight going-madness from being marooned for so long, and he plays a very important part to the plot, meeting Jim, getting him back to the ship, and guiding him to the treasure.
Buck Cluck is pure evil. He clearly doesn't care about his son, puts baseball above everything and pretends he cares at the end so he doesn't get punished
Buck Cluck is pretty bad but I wouldn’t say pure evil.
buck doesn't realize the errors of his way but he's a bad father and near the end he actually defended or believed in chicken little
Buck cluck is a good dad compared to yager from strange world
Even His Son forgave Him? The Ending is a Poor Excuse for Buck Cluck, Yes?
You forgot "stand up to the mob, or at least try to, when they blamed the kid for being crazy again".
Even Mother Gothel from Tangeled is a better parent figure than him, at least she at least somewhat cared about Rapunzel, even if it was for a selfish reason.
If I had the Infinity Gautlett, Buck Cluck would definitely be dust.
I don't mind him, Gary Marshall was great.

A few honrable mentions for worst Disney Characters
The Prince from Snow White - He merely exists as a plot device though originally he eas suppose to have a much bigger role in the movie but was cut due to time and money.
Fun fact: The voice actor for Chi fu (the asshole in Mulan who wears blue) also voices Po’s dad in Kung Fu panda Mr ping aka. Noodle dad.

I 100% agree about the two stupid birds from The fox and the hound, their subplot chasing the caterpillar was so unnecessary in the movie
Let's not forget that Mertle willingly teamed up with Hamsterviel in one episode of the TV series.
Correction multiple episodes
My Picks:
Prince Achmed (Aladdin)
Aunt Sarah (Lady and the Tramp)
Gene (Wreck-It Ralph)
BEN (Treasure Planet)
Chi-Fu (Mulan)
Mertle Edmonds (Lilo & Stitch)
Buck Cluck (Chicken Little)
I agree with adding Gene to the list of worst characters. Gene is an awful snob.
Prince Achmed at least got some development in Twisted where he is the Prince of PiXar

I agree…they might get annoying sometimes but their lessons do help and hit hard at times
Also this is adapted from an even darker tale meant to save the cathedral…Quazi only served as a character to move the plot along but the original focus was on the church and one chapter is devoted to describing it in detail
@@vetarlittorf1807 They happen to be based on a line in the novel about Quasimodo talking to statues, so they're not as out of place as some people think.

And saying Sisu is less liked than Mertle is like saying the same about the Genie.
"It's no wonder fans weren't looking for more of this dragon."
While I agree that her design could have been better, I actually DID want more...but not in the sense of a sequel.

Then, when she realizes she’s made a mistake she runs away again and decides not to ask anyone for help. You’d think she learned her lesson about the wisps by now, but she follows them, yet again later in the movie. I get that she wanted freedom and independence, but she makes a lot of bad decisions.

She’s a good shot with her bow, but, unfortunately, her arrows are sharper than she is.
@@angelwatcher374 She is the one, who has the knowledge about how she and bear Elinor can survive in the woods.
Later on, we can see how she uses what she had learned from the lessons which she hated to hold a speech.
Sisu is a amazing character I know that she was irrelevant in the movie but I still Love her🌊🐉
Irrel-What?!
Agree
I think people hate her because she is voiced by Awkwafina and is annoying to the eyes and ears
Agreed 👍
True
I gotta be honest... I didn't mind the gargoyles.
They're kinda weird, but they do have some funny moments
Sisu sounds more like a character that didn't live up to expectations rather than a genuinely bad character. I mean, come on, it's kind of in character for Disney to make a dragon into a Spyro-esque sarcastic cartoony lizard. They already did it with Mushu. From what I know, Sisu is actually considered one of the more likeable parts of the movie.
She's the only good thing in the movie
Alien 1 and 2 good to evil:
Angel: Newt
Neutral: Ripely
Devil: Carter Burke
Please do a video on either Danganrompa or Nintendo theories.
I like Sisu even if her design not the greatest for a dragon and I guess Buck is a bit like both Jimmy crystal from Sing 2 ( because of his image ) and Frank heffley from Diary of a wimpy kid ( because he doesn’t want his son Embarrassing him at times)
If I can think of JUST ONE good thing about Myrtle is that at least she gave Gigi a home
Yep. That's the ONLY good thing she ever did.
I agree 👍
I actually like Raya and the Last Dragon and I want it to be one of the world for Kingdom Hearts IV Sisu and Naamari aren’t bad characters in my opinion, even Naamari felt remorse for her action’s killing Sisu.
I still agree that buck cluck is the worst character in Disney
@@jackscrazyvideos4302 He does realize the error of his ways.

The fact that Sizu and B.E.N. are on here would make me unsubscribe if I was subscribed in the first place!
Surprised no one from Strange World ended up on here.
That movie is still new, the rest we have talked for years
@@sjoerdderks4731 They're still contenders. That and Lightyear.
Yes Myrtle's mother will punish her for being mean to Lilo
@@ZaireErnestbut she never even notices. That’s an example of a bad parent
My biggest problem with the gargoyles is that it makes me concerned about Quasimodo’s sanity, which is definitely not what they were going for. But since Qausi is the only one who sees them, does that mean he is psychotic?
Also
a guy like you
No they are definitely living creatures because we see them physically attack the guards and help him defend as they attack notre dame. And the reason no one else sees them is because they only trust him and they are the closest thing to a family he has. Plus they're not the only statues we see that move, so maybe there's something magical about notre dame itself.
@@1q2w3e4r404 No. The gargoyles' involvement could easily be interpreted as Quasi's wishful thinking.
No. He's not insane. Just incredibly lonely, depressed and emotionally abused. Why is it a surprise that he has imaginary friends?
You couldn’t say that Quasimodo is insane for having imaginary friends because having imaginary friends in the sort of situation that Quasimodo is raised in would be a coping mechanism to help keep someone sane.
Thoughts on this list:
Myrtle I agree
Gurgi I have not seen this movie.
Maggie Haven’t seen this movie.
Hard disagree about Sisu.
So I like Jason Alexander’s gargoyle character because you know he can actually sing. The other two however cannot.
Haven’t seen this but it is on my list.

I actually enjoyed Sisu
Me too. She doesn’t deserve all the hate.
@@rileyduncan3927 I mean..

Sisu is a keeper! She shouldn’t be here!
I know right?!
Love your takes! Also, I think the guy keeping it or window is meant to be the same kids who were watching her in the pool.
Why why why why!!!!! Siso is underrated why must you hate her she is such a good character
Do a video on Disney Kingdoms And Why They Suck.
Buck Cluck Did admit that His Wife was good with Stuff like Helping Chicken Little, and Admits that he has a lot to learn.
Merdle supposed be unlikeable and kinda a small villain so I don’t why she on the list where supposed to hate her.
I like Sisu because she is the more optimistic Charakter in the Movie. It is pretty sad that she take part in the list :(
She's in that list for a reason.
I can agree with the first and last characters of the list(strongly the first), but I don't find any of them around the middle annoying not one bit. I'm just a little surprised about why they made it on THIS list!
Because apparently a lot of people dislike them...?
Treasure Planet is my favorite Disney movie. I love B.E.N. I agree he is annoying, it's his thing. He's loud, and doesn't always understand what's happening. But he is an important part of the climax, and he is fun
I don't agree with Ben. He's probably my favorite character in treasure planet alongside the cyborg.
I'd say if i had to design a water dragon. I'd give her scales and a sea styled sort of fur replacement. Playing into the pokemon route
I do think some characters deserve to be hated even though they sometimes have a few fans out there as well

I know this has nothing to do with characters being ranked by good and evil and this ranking is based more off of the books than the Netflix series, but I think it provides a good glimpse of where the characters from the Netflix series would sit in a Good to Evil ranking.
I love this video it's so good and is really the best video I seen

Gurgi is much better in the books, than in his disney adaption. he's like a gollum type character, but is tolerable because of how well written his character is.

why would the dragon sisu keep on saying the word trust so much to raya?

Sisu was based on a type of dragon that don't have wings. That's why she looks that way. Do your research before trashing Sisu.
Did you seriously put Victor, Hugo, and Laverne into this list?! I find them more funny than annoying 😠! And just think, I think bringing comic relief to a very dark film was a good idea. That way it's not all gloom and doom.
