Not unless he saw Marty Jr. stand up too and realize that there were actually two of them, but he didn't, and Griff thought it was still the same weak Marty Jr. And Griff thought Marty Jr. had, aside from a few seconds of slight confusion, a meaningless look. Maybe they both should've showed themselves, because if Griff saw that the second guy wasn't Marty Jr., Griff then may've thought that he didn't know what the second guy could be capable of. But that probably wouldn't have phased Griff though because he was so big and menacing.
