Warning! This method does NOT work. If you have a wrapped vehicle never attempt to remove scratches with this method. Only option of repairing would be hot water. period!
Actually - using a small heat gun that goes up to only 775 degrees F, about 3 ~ 4 inches away and panning back and forth as suggested in the video, removed 90% of the light surface marks on my vinyl wrapped car that had some accidental rub marks from EV charging cables (idiot mark - I was forcing the cable to come across the car to where the charging port is). You just need to be very careful and not to stay in one spot for too long! This method totally works. Note - my wrap is the 3M 2080 series satin grey.

How do u remove those gloss burnt marks
Its ruined unfortunately. Need to remove and re-wrap.
Would this work on the Gloss 1080 by 3M as well?
Is this in Fahrenheit or celsius?
If it was Celsius it would melt the wrap instantly 😂
What's the heat gun temperature?
Literally says it in the first 30 seconds of the video….
how do you repair the gloss burnt area?
You don't. That was his point about using a heat gun and not a torch
Is this matte Charcoal Metallic
Matte black 1080 wrap film
What in the world is happening with the stabilization in this video
Okay I did that now I have a glossy spot...
Don’t put the heat gun setting on too high and it shouldn’t happen.
