The fact that she’s so talented and yet so humble shows the remarkable human being that she is, bless you Jennifer Hudson 🙌
It would seem odd, if it were any other way. As everyone is a human being. The notion of a celebrity saying their fans better roll out the carpet and treat them 'different', any sense of human arrogance is simply unbecoming. Respectful, common courtesy, always a lady. Or a gentleman. When old Hollywood meets new Hollywood. 🙂

I don't really care for talent shows, I forget which one she won, but the world is a better place after she was discovered.
She didn't win. She placed 7th. One of the reasons was because Simon Cowell badmouthed her about her weight/looks at the time. He didn't want her on the tour after that season was over.
Then she won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for Dreamgirls. For the longest time, she did NOT come on that show. Simon did learn to keep his big mouth shut about contestants' looks after that.
