I would argue that JHud, is more a working performer than singer. This is why she can jump from not winning American Idol (just as well) to winning an Oscar, to performing on Broadway, to doing award shows and being the head of JHud Productions on the Voice UK and USA. Of all those things, I find her Voice appearances the most valuable - she is the only one on those shows that actually provided coaching on the spot - for voice, be it singing voice or public speaking. It was just a temporary wobble and his friends and family got him back on track but a lot of Brits have never been able to quite forgive him for it. I would argue that JHud, is more a working performer than singer. This is why she can jump from not winning American Idol (just as well) to winning an Oscar, to performing on Broadway, to doing award shows and being the head of JHud Productions on the Voice UK and USA.
Of all those things, I find her Voice appearances the most valuable - she is the only one on those shows that actually provided coaching on the spot - for voice, be it singing voice or public speaking. Brilliant.

It was just a temporary wobble and his friends and family got him back on track but a lot of Brits have never been able to quite forgive him for it.
