I think Nio made a big mistake by making onvo a seperate entity, should be branded and sold as a Nio . Weekly registrations for Nio look low because onvo not included.
I would be very interested to hear your comments on WHY NIO decided to design Firefly that requires its own unique battery and charging stations? I think that is a HUGE mistake. Why on earth would they decide to develop an entirely new charging station infrastructure that is not compatible with NIO and ONVO's existing charging stations?
NIO kind of tricky shorterm becuase China govt may lower Yuan/dollar exchange after if there are new US's tariff , the NIO ADR in US market may follow the currency devaluation. So I think it i best to wait till oil price bottom. If oil price increase then it will hurt the dollar.

NIO gets all their money upfront plus a nice profit. Included in this SCRATCH-OFF are small prizes like FREE Charging, FREE car wash, FREE tolls, etc. 1 of 3 SCRATCH-OFFs is a winner. The winners country of origin gets $1,300.00 per car Tax-registration fee. Tell me why this would work. NIOs stock price would double if they did this. WHY...they've figured out a way to get all their money upfront instead of financing car sales via monthly payments.
What a joke! Nio can't make Firefly to use Nio swap station, with F3 built up, can't deliver the volume on both Nio and Firefly. Nio thinks they are the high end EV maker, but the market shares are chipped away by BYD, Zeekr, and Xiaomi.
Tesla has shown that the path to profitability is just a few very good models with very limited options to choose from when ordering. NIO has twice the models Tesla has and now in rapid succession is launching two new brands, Onvo and Firefly. The profits are in the details, taking the time to design a great car with as few parts as possible and designing it to be manufactured at the lowest cost possible, and getting those details takes time and effort. I see a company losing a lot of money and rushing to get more different products out to consumers to increase sales instead of thinking everything through, getting it right, and being on the path to profitability. Definitely not going to $1,000 as they keep demonstrating they are on the wrong path and not learning from their current losses.

My money is still in Tesla stock, I have never shorted anything. I could have made good money shorting Fisker but I don’t like to pick on people. Since the start I have had the opinion that Nio will never earn a penny of profit and I still believe that. I could have bought at like $2.20 and sold for much higher, I discussed with someone at the time that I thought.the stock would go up but the company would never make money and I just invest in companies I believe in the fundamentals of. I hope that guy did very well, he was all in on Nio. If Nio would take my advice and stop following the business model of legacy automakers who all lose money by the bushel on EVs and follow Tesla, who are profitable, there might be some hope for them.
@@markshepperson3603 Yeah, various production lines for various models, and the more different specifications possible the more different parts have to be stocked and taking space around the production lines, and that slows down the production line having all those parts and variety. A slower production line increases the cost of production. Tesla gives you five colors, two interior choices, a couple wheel choices, and that is all. Tesla used to have more choices early on, and then Tesla learned from experience, something incredibly rare in business.
