IMPORTANT UPDATE!! (NOV 2021): Treehouse is having some SERIOUS business troubles right now. Are they going out of business? Watch my newest Treehouse update before you enroll! th-cam.com/video/FBbskd-HSgE/w-d-xo.html

Being a tech degree graduate, I personally think it is overpriced. There are a lot of outdated videos, as well as the guided learning path being out of wack. You jump into a section where you are expected to know something, which was never taught. Only to be told to go back to another section that is now supposedly changed. No mention of it in the class notes at all. To add your code is marked by students, not mentors or instructors. If they don't agree with something, its on you. One excellent takeaway point are the mods in the slack channels, they are truly brilliant. But never is the tech degree worth the price.

@Aitch was making marketing emails an easy job? What’s the pay for that? Anything is better than my warehouse job.😖🔫

I did Team Treehouse in 2014 close to when they started. What turned me off was the points aspect (motivational but keeps you in tutorial purgatory) and the subscription model. I switched over to Rob Percival's flagship course and I have stuck with Udemy ever since.

I didn't find all courses on Treehouse handholdy, only the beginner's ones. If you go to the intermediate and advanced level. There's a rapid pace there, and a little more digging into details.

The front end tech degree isn’t enough to land a front end job??

Good video. I hope I like it because I've been looking for a platform like this that is video based, but also full of challenges with an integrated editor. I'm learning to code to start my own tech company to build & scale my own apps not to get a job, so the courses without the degrees should be all I need.

Hi, I'm a new viewer to your channel. So is there a consensus in the tech community on which online program is all around the best option?

BIG QUESTION: On Techdegree do they give real-time access to tutors? Like through Zoom calls and that...

Would a CS, Math or engineering degree be a better thing to get over Treehouse or code camps?

    • @HuGiv5

Of course, don't pay to learn code ffs. If you're young with disposable go to College.

These aren't reviews, they're ads. This channel sucks, they recommend everybody and don't go in depth when analyzing a learning platform.

Always remember to repent of your sins (sin is transgression of YAHUAH The Father In Heaven’s LAW: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, & Deuteronomy) And Have Belief On Yahusha The Messiah. HE Died and Rose three days later so that you can be forgiven of your sins!
HE Loves you! Come to HIM🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
