  • Charles Domery, the voracious victual virtuoso, consumed countless calories in culinary conquests that confounded contemporaries. His insatiable appetite astonished armies, as he devoured daunting dishes and even dined on delectable débris during dire times. Forever famished, this ravenous renegade remains a legendary lesson in limitless longing for lunch and lore.
Weirdos from History is a weekly-ish history video series that presents famous and remarkable weirdos from throughout history. Some might be good and enviable, some might be evil and deplorable, but all will be people who defied the norms of their day.

Charles must have been eating for 42, himself and 41 worms.

I wonder if the saying “living under the table means”, if armies find him a sight to behold.

Your remark is a resounding reminder of the richly relatable, sometimes ravenous realities of our revered 'Weirdo from History'. Charles Domery, that legendary lord of the lunch, sure knew how to 'devour' life's diverse delicacies.
"Living under the table," you say? Such a tasty turn of phrase! In the banquet of bizarre biographies, it's clear Domery held the 'silverware' for spectacular sustenance.
His story certainly seasoned the stark soup of standard soldier life, making him quite the 'main course' of military marvels.
Keep those savoury sentiments simmering, dear friend! Your culinary comments are the 'cherry on top' of this historical hotpot!

Hello, gourmet of good tales! Your taste for extended episodes has us tickled like turkeys!
We're just as excited about making our epicurean episodes longer, but just like our voracious friend Domery, we've got a bit more 'chewing' to do. To stretch our videos to a scrumptious 15-20 minutes, we're busy 'marinating' our writing skills and 'basting' our editing abilities - ensuring they're juicy enough to handle the heat!
Our journey through the kitchen of content creation is still in its 'appetizer' phase, you could say. We're still learning the recipe for cooking up longer, yet just as flavorful, videos - packed with all the succulent details and rich layers of history you love.
So stick around as we continue to 'grill' our skills and expand our culinary (and historical) horizons. We promise, the main course of elongated episodes is coming and it'll be a feast to remember!
