I met 19Keys last year… I wasn’t ready and I KNEW that. It was evident, even in my body language. And so what did I do? I did exactly what Rashad said… asked for a pic. However, I look at that pic quite often. It motivates me to continue to work on self to be able to bring value for the next time we meet. It also reminds me of the power of manifestation (I said in my mind “If I meet 19Keys, it was definitely worth me being at this event because this is a man of extraordinary worth to our community, along with those who he surrounds himself with; I highly respect him”.) I’ll be ready to change my life next time- be it 19Keys or another excellent member of this community who can help elevate me based on what value I can bring to the table. 🙏🏽

This was a couple weeks after Katrina b/c the Bayou Classic got moved. I think about that often because I work in the apparel industry. Don't let missed opportunities come and go. At that time I was not prepared. Had the degree but was working as a promotional model and didn't really have much to offer or any partnership opportunity.

I will say for hose whom I can open doors for, they don't always come correct, so I always tell them, you got a shot - come correct, come prepared, be ready, show someone you did your homework.
Many people have told me I am too busy or was too busy. But they didn’t understand the method to my madness. My goal is to be a asset and not a liability to anything and anyone I come across. I have to be on the road to it or already have it. Preparation is key. I have been in situations where I knew I wasn’t prepared and I never liked the feeling. So I am always studying, preparing for the arrival of my time/ chance.

Bcuz y’all need a team that other teams continue to progress with to meet in the middle for the culture is already established classes already a working class from their own ppl. Overall our ppl should know and not be naive to the fact our own ppl use businesses for a working class of their our ppl or any business. That will need a working class of their own kind of people or every business of a different culture have their own working class among their ppl against every other business of a different culture.
