I bought the DV8 front fender with rocker lights, and well I’m not so impressed they are kinda flimsy for the $300 I paid and they rattle like crazy, they look good but my JK did not need more rattles
I'm watching your video cause I'm planning to put this n my jk but I was confuse when you say that its okay to drill a hole on the passenger side where the DV8 logo is but not on the driver side because of the gas tank but yet on 4:44 i see you drill a whole on that spot.
You all realize there is no need for a drill bit if your using a self tapping screw. They are designed to drill and tap a hole . Also you do not need a center punch unless you are removing the inner fender to drill a hole. The correct process would be to install the inner fender in the correct position and then simply begin installing self tapping screws. Done .
Should have used aluminum fenders so you can see what it actually look like instead of black fenders inside wheel wells where it's Shady ...not good for the video

So if youre not to use the hardware she is showing on the drivers side, how are you supposed to install the drivers side?
For $200+ I would think they could include BLACK hardware for the BLACK liners.
Some people prefer the contrasting look of chrome on black.
What length self tapping screw should be used?

Yeah that didn't make sense. This video is eh, they have made better ones then this.
That's because she's on the passangers side...
They just reused the footage

You realize that a pilot hole make the job easier? Sure it can be done without a pilot hole but you risk the screw "walking" on you.
@@skbid1 as someone who works with sheet metal for a living, I can verify your statement.
Using the center punch to mark the hole would help prevent the "self tapping" screw from wandering
Missing a bolt by the front turn signal stops the rattling.

Why the fuck would anyone buy a thing without mounting hardware?
