I've watched different uploads, or excerpts from this film consistently throughout the last decade, and it never ceases to amaze me how rare, and precious this recording is. I eat it up, every time. I'm a truck driver, I don't even play music anymore, but this is still absolutely incredible.
Thank you! I saw this video 10y or so ago but the other video had no subtitles; even tho I don’t speak German I could “understand” what he was saying/explaining, an inspiration in my art. Bless you my friend 🙇🏻♂️
l think it needs more cow bell ! In one interview, maybe ten years after this, he said he’s been doing yoga for thirty years. I see some movements, postures of his that are almost yoga poses.

Henri-Georges Clouzot is the director. He and Karajan did 6 productions together...

I’m going to be so disappointed this season when none of the conductors are von Karajan. His father or grandfather was Macedonian Greek by the way.
