Whoa, this just brought a wave of memories back to me of the evening of Dec. 22, 1987, when my dad walked 3 blocks down to the local high school for a Christmas concert. His booming bass voice was heard by all in attendance, barrelling out the Hallelujah song. After walking back home from the concert, he sat in his chair in our family room, and failed to respond to my mother's chatter. He left us that night to sing his praise to God at a much closer reach. Hallelujah, dad, I can hear you singing God's glory from eternal life right now!
