The trash problems along canals are because of irresponsible people. Bangkok municipal systems are quite sufficient, however, they are not collecting trash on daily basis. Normally just scheduled, on regular basis, for a few times a week. I think the schedule is quite reasonable. So that require resident and shop to have their own system to keep trash in before the collection.
But you know there are irresponsible people, who are just very selfish.

@@JacobandJennyTravel So saying trashing in the canal is culture shock for you is NOT true because it is NOT OUR CULTURE. You saw ONE person do that and you assumed it is our culture is UNFAIR. Please use appropriate words next time you do it to other countries you go to.

    • @KodingKuma
      @KodingKuma ปีที่แล้ว

Let me add to this. There is a law that if you liter in public, you'll be fine up to 1,000 baht. However, it's really hard to police and people tend to hate cops when they reinforce any law that against their favors. I personally think it's the problem of an old world / older cities. The city layout does not make it easy to facilitate trash or to police these people. More over, I think the government has to improve education and economy so that people can afford to live in a better place and threat the area where they live better. Thai people are known to be laid back, for just about EVERYTHING. It can be a good thing if you are friends, not so good if you have to share anything in life.

In fact, fork is not supposed to be dominant. It is to gather good into spoon and you eat from spoon with the exception of some dish which has portion easy to pick by fork and eat from fork. We don't eat rice from form but spoon. Spoon is dominant because a lot of Thai dish is in liquid form such as tom yam, khao soi, rolled noodles soup etc.

Thank you for your feedback and i hope thai government official who are responsible in taking care of all these matters will tackle these problems. One thing that i want to tell you about tuktuk driver is normally thai people dont like to use tuktuk in daily traportation option. You can observe that tuktul will drive in the tourist area to catch mainly the tourist to use their service. Thai people have many choices for transportation like bts, mrt, public bus, grab, motorbilke taxi and boat transportation. At least we select to walk if our destination is near instead of using tuktuk. It is modern thai people mindset.

The last time I took Tuktuk was last month when I accompanied a group of undergraduate Japanese exchange students. I as a Thai even got charged very high price😂 I don’t really like taking Tuktuk because the drivers are oftentimes aggressive and, yea as you said, sneaky. There might be some good Tuktuk drivers out there still, but the competition for customers is high, and I understand that they have to make their living, however, this should never happen to anyone either with the locals or tourists.

You need a very good skill for negotiation. Sometimes, if you can find Thai that can communicate with you in in English, you can ask them to help you negotiate the price with Tuk Tuk too.

    Hi guys
-Thai food mostly are spicy but you can say non spicy , less spicy when you order . Most of food you order it’s in tourist area . You have to try traditional food which is very different from mainly 4 part - central food , northern food , Isan food ( north east) , southern food.
Let’s try local traditional food next time :).
-chopsticks only when you order .
Chinese food , noodles, Japanese food .
-Thai people not really use tuktuk much the price kind of tricky. And taxi too ask everytime when take taxi -taxi meter ?
-ice ! Our country is very very whether hot ,remember when you order you have to say hot coffee / hot cappuccino/ hot Americano / hot latte all this they serve with out sugar
But if you just order coffee you will get ice coffee , ice tea because most of thai they like coffee /beverage with ice ( 70%) and it’s so so sweet !
    - credit card we not really use to , we use cash or transfer or transfer scan QR code from bank applications.
I hope you love our country and come back again :) always welcome

Their are 2 spice levels. Tourist spicy and Thai spicy. They are definitely giving you the tourist spice level. Tell them you want phet phet. If they give you a strange look, tell them again phet phet. I'm a chili head from the US. Thailand knows how to deliver with their local chili varieties some stronger with others.
Use your spoon more than fork in Thailand.
Tuk tuks suck 90 percent of the time. My first experience was a scam. Their are people in front of the palace that will lie about it being closed and they are in cahoots with the tuk tuk and taxi drivers.
BUT that wouldn't prevent me from loving Thailand!

First of all, we know that you are a travel TH-camr and Thailand is one of your travel destinations and content creation spots. After this, you will continue your journey to other countries. However, no matter what, we would like to thank you for visiting Thailand, as well as other countries in this region. Thailand may have good and bad things in the eyes of tourists. Most of the food vendors in Thailand may be from the older generation who may not be able to communicate with tourists, but the younger generation of Thai people will not have a problem communicating in English with tourists, except when you may encounter employees of Thai people who may be Laotian or Cambodian. Nevertheless, please be aware that Thailand is the fastest-growing and developing country in ASEAN. Welcome to Thailand.

@@JacobandJennyTravel Many things in our country can also be found in surrounding countries such as Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam, or Myanmar. We share many cultural similarities, whether it be in food, martial arts, performance arts, or various festivals. These neighboring countries often try to claim themselves as the origin, but we encourage you to experience it for yourself in Thailand and its neighboring countries. We will not tell you who the true originators are because it is a delicate matter and can cause controversy. Only you and fellow travelers can decide who the true originators are.
One thing that neighboring countries cannot imitate is the Thai people's kindness, peaceful nature, comfort-seeking lifestyle, and generosity. In reality, every country has both good and bad people, but there is almost never news about Thais scamming or taking advantage of tourists. Despite having tourists almost everywhere in the country, we take pride in being welcoming hosts.

About the Tuk Tuk car, I apologize for Thailand, I am very sorry for the Thai people. I don't want this to happen because it damaged the country's reputation and destruction of tourism. And most importantly, tourists will not be happy and fair. If I encounter this, I will write down the license number and report it to the Express Bus Complaint Center. 1584 Thank you for your video. Let me explain about whitening problem my friends, most tourists came here in Thailand and saw a lot of whitening stuff and they just thought by themself that Thai people love their white skin and hate black skin and I have to say we Thai didn't thought like that my friends we do not have racist problems here and we always love and welcoming every type of skins but in Thailand it is very hot so since the old day most labor-class who has to work outside in the rice fields such as a farmars most of them got the "BURNT Black" skin because of the sun NOT Black skin like Black people and when you got burnt skin people thought it's so ugly and looks poor if you got Black Burnt skin so most of the Thai people love to I have to say whitening and lightenning their skins to make their skin clear and smooth and white/light not white like European white my friend and most of them who using thise things are only Thai girls never a man and if you ask a Thai girl who want to be more white and light skin most of them want the asian white it is white like k-pop idol like zombie white not white like European my friend and just like you guys saw many Thai girls they are already more white than some people from the west right? But they still use those products I have to say.
And if you are talking about black Thai, like I said we do not have racist problems here so people never thought that Black skin is not good so there are many Thai people that love and proud their Thai black skin my friend just like the most famous Thai MuayThai fighter in the world name "Buakaw" he really famous in the west too and he has a very very black skin and he love to called himself "DUM" or "DUM DOT COM" when talked with all his Thai fans which means Black skin people and joking about his funny fake website where he's from. Lol
