My dream speakers! They look so good in Midnight Metallic Blue 😍 I have B&W CM10 S2 and i love them, but i dailydream of these once every day 😄 But they are sooo expensive 😢 Thank you for sharing awesome video!
I love the 451's and covet them - but can I justify the replacement of my 611's? Hearing this - erm yes - I use mine with the enormous Monitor Audio Platinum 500II's and so the question which should I change first?

Thanks for another lovely high end session sound sommelier 🙏🕺👌.. People dont have exacctly the same ears.. We can have damaged tonal balance.. Even if We dont know it.. Most of normal people dont know how to do focused lissening.. So how can they judge a clip from TH-cam... When i am lissening on electronics in real i keep my breath.. Heart beat and pulse effect what we hear.... But i am a crazy audiofil.. So i just tell my point of wiev.. It would be great if you add in different music in your sessions.. Dire straits, vocal singers. You have anne brun from norway.. Great recordings... David knopfler.... In that way wil we see the true nature of the electronics.. About the mcs.. I fal in love whit tubes on and off.. Allways when i fall back i feel the tubes. Lacks in energy... Sparkle from the music is missing...this is my own experiences.. I dont critic your electronics.. sommelier.. They cost more then my apartment.. And car.. 😁.. The bws have more to give i know.. Bless you al out there and thanks 🙏🧙♂️

It is not that totally off. The problem is is that he keeps moving the microphone throughout the room instead of keeping it stationary which is going to throw it off and I think considering this person has hundred thousand plus dollar set ups he should be aware of this if you’re wanting the demo, the best out of any system you’re gonna wanna be in there, sweet spot or triangle of the presentation but I do agree that maybe the acoustics in his room could be treated a little better. I don’t necessarily blame the speakers.

Finally someone with some hearing! Just about everything sounds better than B&W. Year after year B&W are the worse sound at all the audio shows I go to. Crap like this is what decimated the audio sector in the 90s.

I have to agree - I have a high end system with Mcintosh 611'Monos and I just don't think Mc are good with B+W and I have heard this combo many times - I chose the enormous Monitor Audio Platinum 500II's over any B+W - however I am considering these 451's but will be they too revealing for my speakers?

That midrange driver is distorting to hell an back! Obviously nobody bothered to measure anything. There must be no acoustical engineering happening at B&W, or whoever works there is deaf. About 3/4 of the drivers sold on Parts Express would outperform this crap!
They dont sound natural and not very realistic. Harbeth speakers sounds much much better.
