Got to say man, I admire this content. This embodies what fishing should be. #1 Not revealing the names or locations of the lakes you discover. #2 Fishing with minimal tools. Just a kayak. No $70,000 boat + Fishfinder combo. #3 Heading out to bodies of water and finding out everything yourself. I do the same here in Northern Wisconsin. I've had many trips that turn out to be duds. 8 hours of fishing, and not catching a single thing. Then again, I've found some absolute gems. You rock man. Awesome work.
For sure we do. We have 10 times more lakes than Minnesota. I use MNR's Fish ON-line site and there definitely are lakes that don't have information. I've also discovered errors, they are just people like the rest of us. Mistakes happen lol. Check out that site. A wealth of information but many lakes aren't surveyed.
My dude, this series is an unfilled niche on TH-cam. Your whole channel could be based on this concept alone and I would relish every video. PLEASE KEEP DOING THEM AS LONG AS YOURE ABLE. instant sub
Awesome work! Love catching those wolves of the water. I’m sure you know this but make sure that kayak is cleaned thoughtfully between lakes. No need to pass invasive species to these beautiful lakes. Keep up the awesome content and keep living while you’re young!
Love these videos/ you should get move views for these challenges and hard work keep melting videos I have been watching you TikToks a lot but just seen your videos and love them KEEP IT UPPP
Love the videos man, I am also the type to go down endless roads in search of untouched waters. It's a whole new level of fishing that I love. I don't want to be that guy that tells you how to fish but don't to afraid to give that hookset a little love 7:46 there was little to no hookset. I think you would land a lot more fish, keep up the good work 🤘🤘
My question is how do you know you’re not on someone’s private land? I spend a week in MN fishing every year and we always want to try new lakes, but I don’t want to trespass. Love the series man!!!
MDNR’s focus is lakes with public access. No reason to waste resources by running surveys on lakes that are not accessible to the average fishermen. These types of lakes also have winter kills making any surveys useless.
Hey man. Are the underwater cam and your head cam the same and just a go pro? What model? Models? I'd love to do something similar in Northern Michigan. I already have a few hidden gems that i need to check out. Public land swamp ponds that look fishy. One new lake that just turned state land after being private for like 100 years.
They taste great if you keep the slime off the meat. They have a Y bone in the fillet that can be cut out or eaten around. They are a decent fight. Better than a walleye.
I'm an Aussie so I have no experience of north American fish. Is it just pike that would be of "table" size or would there be other fish in there apart from the bait fish?
There could be largemouth bass, since these lakes are so shallow they can’t support a lot of the game/table fish of the area that like deeper colder water
@@christophergammelgaard5470 buddy I’ve caught 15 and 20 pound pike I have pictures of them too I know what a pike looks like. I’ve also caught 80 centimetre walleye and 30 pound salmon

Your drag is way too tight you will land more fish if you let them go on a few runs 👌sick videos
Great pike do you try fishing pan fish in some of these lakes ?
1) Great Videos.
2) Loosen the Drag. Lures aren't cheap.
3) Your Videos have inspired Me to find out if the MNR in Ontario has un-surveyed lakes

What a great series!
Fantastic stuff. I live vicariously through you until I can go to Minnesota again. (Kansas) keep it up!
Feels like you need a net, love the content though! Fellow Minnesotan eating up the content!
Why net if you ain’t keeping it?
Cool concept for a channel. My kind of fishing. I agree with @PackerManForLife about the allure of fishing with less and often catching more.
I always love your post! Being from Wisconsin, I should try some of the lakes we have
Being from Ontario, saMe.
Loving the videos can’t wait to see what episode 3 has in stock. And will you be doing these videos during the winter ice fishing?🎣
Absolutely love the content keep it up!🔥
So awesome. I love this content. My home. Just north of Minnesota has more lakes than people. Many of them are lakes like these 😉
Love the set up in the back for your fishing gear 😂
Makes me miss home. Keep it up!
I enjoy your channel! Keep up the good work and tight lines!

Nice fish!! Well done!
I enjoy your recordings very much.
New to the channel. Love the videos. Could watch them even longer. Was just getting into it when it ended. Consider doing like 20 minute videos.
please be sure to keep you kayak clean - if your going to all these lakes you can easily wreck them
This is awesome!
Nice!!
Fun videos. You should try the bigger lake just to the northwest next and see what is in there
My question is how do you know you’re not on someone’s private land? I spend a week in MN fishing every year and we always want to try new lakes, but I don’t want to trespass. Love the series man!!!
Use interactive parcel maps
It it isn't posted, then you aren't trespassing. That is the law.
@@JamesonThe1 nah that ain't really the law, good luck with that. Just look up the parcels😆
Upgrade to a baitcaster! Awesome video.
🤙🏻🤙🏻
Love it man
Wow! Nice Fish for sure. New Subscriber 😮
I would be throwing nothing but topwater.
I second this
Bro looks like the 4th wilson brother 😂
Are his eyes touching?

Wallace.
Do you do your own drone work?
Goat.
Is that along Palo Creek?
Might need to invest in a bigger net there bud.
I’ll tell you one reason it wasn’t studied by the dnr. They couldn’t drive to it lol
Also I’d up the line to a 50lbs braid with a leader for pike and musky. 65lbs if you can lol. Tight lines brother. Love the adventure of your films

Those fish were nice and fat which shows a healthy lake.
Again an aussie. Can you eat pike or are they a great fighting fish?
