The goal doesn't matter, that is for you to choose, it could be money for some greedy people it could be boxing, it could be science. The point is, you did your best, improving with each failed season, and carried on until you did what others will never do! Been following your adventures for quite some time now - you'd already had an amazing season before this behemoth arrived - no-one deserves it more than you. The hours, the sessions - you are one dedicated man and the fruits of those labours are here for us all to see. No need to apologise on how you feel when you don't know what to say - it happens to us all when that which we catch is the fish of our dreams. Remember catching a 2lb 2 oz Roach on the River Lea whilst fishing for Livebait - I can't tell you how much I was shaking when she went on the scales - I believe from my friend who was with me at the time stated I was just talking gibberish. These times are what we, as anglers, live for - every time the float goes under, the bite alarm goes off, the quivertip pulls round - we never know what's attached until we land them. Well done Lee - if anyone can get a 40lber, it's you😁

I’ve watched fishing videos since I was a kid and you are absolutely up there with them legends like John Wilson, Matt Hayes, etc well for me anyway your videos are better. Congratulation on an amazing fish. True story, as kids we mainly fished for carp in the summer and only occasionally fished for Pike in the winter. We were fishing a small lake one day when we caught a 30lb pike. That was 40 years ago and I still remember it as if it was yesterday.

Well done mate what a fantastic series of videos deservedly crowned with that fantastic fully deserved pike. Those of us who sit on the banks for many hours in glorious solitude know exactly how that capture felt and most of us aspire to be to feel those special moments. I have only been focussed on pike fishing for a couple of seasons and my PB is 15lbs. Armed with what I have learned from your approach I am aiming for my first 20 from October 2024 and your video make me believe with hard work it is achieveable. My preparation in selecting rivers and swims has already started !

Well done mate, I am absolutely made up for you. I still hold a pb of 24lb 15oz I had that when I was 19 years old now almost 46 . I do wish I caught it when I was older as I would definitely of appreciated it more. I have had a good season this year with loads and loads of upper dubbels but no 20lb ers, maybe next year. I have had to put all fishing on hold the last few years as two small children arrived, your videos have really made a difference as they are real fishing and I have definitely taken on board some top tactics for when I start up piking again next year. I live 25 minutes from Chew, can’t wait to see you fish my local water. It’s brutal but I have a feeling you will catch though, do your research and I’m sure you will be in for a chance. I started watching these videos last year & became obsessed with trying to catch the Water Wolf....In the last 11 months, I have caught 200 pike, but only 1 has been over 30in mind U this area is new to them so size will come in time. Thanks for giving me the itch...🎣 & awsome footage

Congratulations man. What a fish from the river.. My pb was caught 23 years ago, sh to was over the thirthu, so I can appreciated your excitement, and sometimes frustration. Well done mate what a fantastic series of videos deservedly crowned with that fantastic fully deserved pike. Those of us who sit on the banks for many hours in glorious solitude know exactly how that capture felt and most of us aspire to be to feel those special moments. I have only been focussed on pike fishing for a couple of seasons and my PB is 15lbs. Armed with what I have learned from your approach I am aiming for my first 20 from October 2024 and your video make me believe with hard work it is achieveable. My preparation in selecting rivers and swims has already started !

Here is the season finale i was waiting for like 2 weeks from shorts ...great job Lee, the edit looks extra this time too...i was kind of in doubts after that 28 pounder and only one day remaining, but this was indeed the chery on top as are your videos before going to bed...i am glad your endurance was rewarded, happy days

Well done mate, I am absolutely made up for you. I still hold a pb of 24lb 15oz I had that when I was 19 years old now almost 46 . I do wish I caught it when I was older as I would definitely of appreciated it more. I have had a good season this year with loads and loads of upper dubbels but no 20lb ers, maybe next year. Congratulations again pal you have had an unreal season. 👏👏👏👏

I have had to put all fishing on hold the last few years as two small children arrived, your videos have really made a difference as they are real fishing and I have definitely taken on board some top tactics for when I start up piking again next year. I live 25 minutes from Chew, can’t wait to see you fish my local water. It’s brutal but I have a feeling you will catch though, do your research and I’m sure you will be in for a chance. I started watching these videos last year & became obsessed with trying to catch the Water Wolf....In the last 11 months, I have caught 200 pike, but only 1 has been over 30in mind U this area is new to them so size will come in time. Thanks for giving me the itch...🎣 & awsome footage
